The world will be a much safer place if we have better mothers. It will also be a better place if we have fewer broken homes.

It is not much of a secret that most of the hardened criminals in our societies are products of broken homes. They are youngsters who feel rejected by their parents, hence they go around causing trouble and spreading hate.

Some of these kids may even have caring mothers, but lack the necessary discipline required from a committed father.

it is not long now. I read everything and I understood op's point of view. Depending on how everyone looks at it, it is about whether those women are outrightly wrong or they capitulated to societal pressures.

Although there is no legitimate excuses for women to involve themselves in this but I am not sure if I can agree with op 100% in country called Nigeria and its current economy meltdown.

However, I think I can object to op by citing ritual activities led by men 99.99% of the time, where humans, sacred being created by God have been slaughtered like goat all in the name of money. If you ask those ritualists why, they would tell you "it is bcus of economy downturn that caused their inhumane bustle.

The same way those women with no integrity give silly excuses for what they do. I think, to be sincere, options are quiet limited for women with integrity. We see in their so called nollywood movies where women who dress modestly, primitively are seen as "locals", "village girls", and they would not be offered prescribed job unless they "belong". A woman who has been seeking for decent livelihood may be forced to dress certain way, talk certain way, walk certain way in order to fit the job descriptions. This is different from Women of West where ladies have plenty of options but they deliberately chose to be oloshos. I'm not in any way making excuses for those unis and other runs ladies. Big difference is, it is a criminal offense in most parts of western world for bossman to ask prospective female employees for sex before job offers.

Sure we all need is to work together to make things work. The father and the mother. You are among the very few i have enjoyed discussing with and i have learnt alot from you as well your schooling is of benefit not a waste.
