Sai Buhari aside.....the money needed to deal with the financial deficit in our university system probably runs into the trillions of Naira.

The 2009 agreement that ASUU signed with govt envisioned N3 trillion over 2 years in extra funding for universities.

AM sure it is now probably over N5 trillion. And the only ways we can get the extra funds is by fee increases, taxes increase or borrowing more from the IMF.

Eventually, universities have to be privatised, so that govt can focus on primary and secondary school education. We have no choice.

Kogi state govt declared one day public holiday, people have been celebrating by giving free drinks and food, some drank mud water while some are celebrating in their closet.
Well! I am not surprised SSANU &co., wants to join the public holiday jamboree.
Baba is working from home and we are all happy. Soon all public and civil servants will work from home, private employees will do same and all students will school serve and graduate from home. I still don't have problem with that. You know why?.Because it's cool with those supporting the govt of the day.
Someone said this morning on sunrise daily @ channelstv that baba can work from anywhere in the world even from his toilet.
Baba and co are setting dangerous precident, we are all happy or indifferent cos we belong or benefit from the govt in power.
