Thanks I've given her. I added 3 spoons of formula to 150 ml of pap. Hope that's not too much cuz my baby loved the pap a little bit too much. Someone that's a professional spitter promptly forgot how to spit. If I remove spoon from her mouth for a second to get more pap she would throw a tantrum. But it's so messy. Her clothes and mine and my bedsheets all need changing . She ate about 50ml before I gave up. I tried feeding her from a bottle but the formula made the pap thicker and it's not really coming out from the nipple.

Why not make the pap super thick at first so when you add the formula you can then add water a spoon at a time to lighten it up if required. Or you mix the formular with a small bit of water ( just enough to make it liquid) and add to the pap.

Also for feeding bottle, you will either need to make it watery enough to pass through your current teat..... or...... cut the teat to make a bigger hole so it is easier to come out.

Gerber has yoghurt for babies (I think it's a yoghurt+fruit mix). It's recommended from 6 months upwards.
I've not tried it for my baby yet (she's 8months+), but I'm contemplating doing so this weekend

Thanks for the suggestions. I'd just make a bigger teat. There would never be an ogi voltron like my MIL n. She's been on it since day one. The baby is too slim-what she needs is pap. The baby is getting too fat- please give her pap. The baby is playing too much- What she needs is pap. The baby is crying a lot-Give her pap. The baby has an ear infection- It's because you've not given her pap. She has a way of just linking everything to pap. I'm so scared of starting work with her still around cuz of her old school methods it's been 4 months already and I hear she's staying 4 months more

Wash and cut the prum or prune into pieces
put into pot and boil to soft(Dont throw the water away please)
blend with blender or food processor.

You can keep in the fridge for 3 days or keep in freezer for 3 months.

I'm ok. LO and I have cattarh and cough and his appetite is a bit off but he's eating carrot puree (hates apple and peach), cerelac, August Secret foods and pap, of course with his beloved formula.

Meanwhile Mamas my LO's weight isn't increasing as rapidly anymore. I read as they grow older it kind of eases off, although he's growing taller (sleepsuits don dey tear for leg) but I just wanted to verify, that 1kg every month or so I shouldn't expect it again ba?

Hi mamas longest time, how are ur los doing? Aunty Flow knocked me down since oh. Since I have never had this kind of heavy flow in my life, Even DH pitied me (changed pad every 2hrs with intermittent annoying cramps)
My dear son clocked 6months a week ago, Introduced Aptamil and pap and he took it, we have been EBF but he eats little per time. Gave him gerber cereal this night and the guy enjoyed himself. I'm so grateful to God

If the pap is too thick, instead of adding the formula like that, try mixing with a little water before adding to the pap..

I heard ogi ibaba (the red pap) is the best for kids as it contain more nutrition compare to d rest

1. I never see my own oh
2. I was told it takes a while (2 to 3 weeks) to be delivered so patience is key.

I Ordered from Mall for Africa grocery direct. It's about 3k for a pack of 78 and shipping is free. My own suggestion is to wait till I see my own before you put hand

I will explain the process when I receive my items

yeah...the weight thing is true o!
i think from 6 months their weight gain isn't as rapid as from birth anymore.

Also once they start crawling and all those excess activity, there is a tendency to shed some weight

mehn! i can TOTALLY relate. if you see the way i clap for and kiss my DS whenever he poos, you'd think the poo is pure gold.

There's nobody to feed her apart from me, the day I took her to grandma's to help me out while I excused myself, Na war she take drink 50ml, I have resorted to give her with a spoon and cup, she takes 120ml every 2hr30mins, I have changed her milk thinking she got tired of the taste instead she had rashes and stooled 5times daily, so I jejely changed back to Nan, I changed the teat and her bottle, for where? I usually add silverbird to his bathing water, use some to rub his chest,nose and feet and also put some on his pillow while sleeping. I even put menthol in very hot water and made him inhale it but he cried so much so I couldn't continue. I also use palm kernel oil on his nose and give him vit c (0.3ml daily) but no difference. Pls what can I do

when my baby was having catarrh just like your baby, I did everything you mentioned here but none worked, I stopped applying rub or silverbird even in her oil, all I did was taking 400g of vitamin c(the white tablet) and pregnacare newmom every day so she can suck it from me cos I abandoned the vitamin c I was giving her and it really helped... I hope it works for you..

I don't think there is fake. Molfix doesn't have fake its just that they reduced their quality because they reduced their price.
