lol I don't really want her to go jor. I just wish she would listen more and not be so persistent in her ways . The other day she brought bread to our bedroom at night. Hot and freshly baked and just because Giddybaby was staring at her she tried to put some in her mouth . EBF is a joke to her so she stays putting things in my baby's mouth even after I've said no one should. And some of the things she wants to feed her at so not safe. Before I come back from work one day and find my baby devouring ice-cream . I don't let her do these things while I'm here but she keeps trying so I'm just scared of what she would do when I resume work and my baby is at her mercy. I sha have my 'little birds' that flash me whenever she's up to something so it won't be that bad.

Also hubby is currently out of town and usually this is my 'free from marriage duties' period but it's not working this time cuz you can't tell MIL to eat indomie or cereal She would look at you with Ahnie's Isoko eyes and your brain would reset. Recently hubby got her to go and visit another of her kids for a week so we can rest from excess church, preaching and prayers. See us breathing sighs on relief when she left. Just for the woman to come back the next day and say she prefers staying here . Even on the one day she was gone, she called me by 4:30am the next morning that I should wake up and wake hubby. Then I should read Psalm 1-4 aloud while hubby would read 6-10 then together we read 11 and pray

Rant time
I went for antenatal yesterday in health center and a nurse attended to me, during palpation she said my baby is in transverse and that I'm 30weeks (Hmmm me when don dey count 31/32 weeks). Then she told me to be sleeping on the floor so my baby can turn facing head down, na so I shout with all the back pains I should still sleep on the floor issokia. I left the ward and went to pay for scan and while waiting for the scan I called my cousin who's a gynea and explained everything to him, he told me not to worry and I shouldn't sleep on the floor that since the baby is on transverse she will turn on her own. I went in for the scan na I was told my baby is breech and that I'm 28wks,i just told the guy that he's not serious because four weeks ago he told me I was 26wks now he's saying I'm 28wks. I collected my scan results and walked out.

Today I went to the private clinic I registered with and I was told my baby is 32wks and she's facing down. Na so I thank my gynea and left oh. I'm seriously thinking of not going to that health center again sef. (I didn't tell my gynaecologist that I registered at the health center oh). Abeg na only me Waka come for this kind lie lie scan

Why the inconsistency on number of weeks, the private did they carryout another scan.

I decided to sing the above lyrics because that is exactly how I feel..Jesus has just been too too good to me

My pregnancy was uneventful, little MS that disappeared with time, by 15 weeks I was already feeling the baby movement and my bump came up very early....I battled with PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension ), by the time I was 32weeks gone I decided to come and have my baby in lagos then I registered in a private hospital and decided to try the general hospital as well, on the day I registered in the general hospital I was placed on admission immediatly because protein in urine was high as well as the high blood pressure, well I stayed and by the time I was 35weeks and 3 days an emergency cs was carried out on me...I went into the theater and came out victorious with my tiny little beautiful baby girl, I still don't know what she weighed because the whole staff in the theater were awed by her skin colour, my baby was the definition of pink and not a single patch of black was found on her...I had to sign to be discharged against doctors advice because the hospital still wanted to keep me after 5 days of the cs, I told the doctor I can't cope alone with the baby, I needed help and the nurses are not ready to lift a finger in helping...so we got home on the 6th day after the cs and baby was named Adanne Chizara'm Mitchell...

All glory to God for fulfilling his words in my life, this was my second pregnancy after 5 yrs. .God is still on the thome all we need to do is call on him and he will be riright there to answer..

Benignasweety I'm so sorry I Cldnt see you and zion before coming to lagos, I still hope to meet you when I return to the east..

And dis summer break don over sweet me DAT am not sure I can start waking up 5am again just to start preparing for school with dis big belle....Am really confused, DH is in support of any decision I make, just don't no wot to do jawe.

Do you have something else yet?
Can you wait till you start maternity, then you can resign from extended mat leave from there.

That way you will have a few months to assess your decisions and if you change your mind, you just resume as normal, if not, you hand in your notice and move on.

And you also get maternity pay.

Also if you know your boss will try to talk you out of it, you may be able to negotiate a pay rise. .

How far gone are you?

What's your level of stress?

How much rest are you getting?

Do you have fibroid?

How much fluid do you take?

Cramps in preg is normal,the uterus is enlarging to accommodate the growing baby but shouldn't be uncomfortable/unbearable.
Slight menstrual like pain is ok

Rest as much as you can but if it's still not relieving you Pls see your care giver

Hello cappo,the Lord is your strength. The matter get as e be sha but what will you be doing if you quit? Aside hubby, what other means do you generate income from?
To me, I will advise you hold on to the teaching job pending the time you get another job(or something else) that suits you.
Moreover, maternity leave is just around the corner...

@Shadeadu, welcome to the pregnancy thread. A level of stomach cramp is normal but it shouldn't ache you so terribly. And some first trimester symptoms can mimic malaria, are you really sure it's malaria. Pls do not self medicate. I suggest you get checked out by your doctor to be really sure. It's well with you sis.

Alhamdilillah Rabbil Alameen.

My Prince arrived on the 15th of August 2017.

I was 40wks and 3 days (tuesday) and woke up to slight cramping with contractions. Doctor had already told me to come with my bag the following day (wed) if there was nothing. So told Hubby about the little cramping and said we should get to the hospital and see. Packed everything and went.
Doc checked, I was just a fingertip gone. Yeah it hurt for me and very comfortable.
They inserted oxytocin at about 12pm. Cramping and contractions kept coming and increasing in intensity gradually. LOL! I dint know the big deal was yet to come, as I was pacing the corridors of the ward thinking I was managing well! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
7pm~they took me in and Doc swept the membrane. He told me he was going to check for dilation but went ahead with that. It was very painful aswell. Yelled to my liking.
8pm~Doc broke my water. Another very painful act. By then, contractions were at full blast. I'd hold hubby o, the iron on the bed etc. And all hubby could think of was that I was going to break their iron rod. LOL I could destroy the building and I wouldn't care less. I just wanted the pain to end. I started shouting for epidural, of course, the 'it has side effect' talk was flying. I dint care whether I had front, back or diagonal effect.
They finally said the guy doing it was on his way. I said they were all lying and that they just wanted t waste more time and not have me do it.
I asked the doctor to call the man again and put on speaker so I could hear if he really was on his way. He did o. I said I didn't hear any sound of motion so they were lying to me again.
Hubby was now mentioning that i should pray instead of all th shouting and the reply I gave hubby is still a shock to me I shouted 'get out, which useless prayer' hmm.
9pm~ Doc asked me to start pushing. I was oo, they said I was only screaming. I was givin It my all. Baby just dint seem to bulge much. I heard I was given a cut. I didn't feel anything. It was later hubby was telling me how horrified he was when he saw Doc cutting through me like paper. And he he like u dint feel it? Naaa those intense cr and con were more superior.
I finally felt the head pop out, and....
9:30pm~ my heartbeat, my world, my handsome price slipped out.
Suturing was another drama. They injected twice but i felt the stitching oh. The needle cutting thru and the thread being pulled. Hmm
I kept doing what I did (shouting) and begging Doc to stop. He finally finished. He now started putting hand to pack blood, and mehn I had had enough and I closed my legs and sai it wasn't by force pls, that it would find its way out eventually.
Doc must have had enough of my drama and he let me get up.
Whewww.
This was quite traumatic for me.
I'd most likely opt for an epidural next time.
Site healing gradually.
Milk production in good swing.
Battling with constipation abi na pile. It's getting to bit better.
Today is naming ceremony.
Congrats to all Mummy's, and taaaaaaaty Billion Gbosas fo y'all. Motherhood is indeed a wonderful feeling.

Seriously sis for now no other source of income o, but am thinking of going into whole sales recharge card for d main time cos I noticed no one is selling ard my area, people transport demselves out to get it DH already made enquiries but I no just get d explanation he's giving o, so thinking of going to a guy DAT print and make enquiries myself.
