Now I have applied for an upgrade of this to the course-by-course and shockingly WES is asking for verification again from my Uni (i.e. for the BSc). They aren't asking for a verification for my MSc...just my BSC. wonder why they want to verify what has already been verified. I thought I was done with chasing my Nigerian Uni up & down to respond to WES.

It means you haven't signed it. Did you see a page where you're required to write your full name and sign? If no, you need to return to your account, after updating, click on transmit. Make sure you see the page that'll request for your name and online signature. Once you do that, it will be updated.

It showed that it was updated but not transmitted. Where am I supposed to do the transmitting? It took quite a while for it to even reflect that it had been updated and afterwards, I thought it would be transmitted. Only to notice that it wasn't when I got an ITA. If the draw had been less than 433, I would have applied but as it was 434, I can't afford to risk it.

I need advise on this Iqas issue. Wifey's transcript was delivered to them on Aug 3rd and they are yet to confirm delivery of same and 2day makes it 3wks. They have updated processing time to be 9-10wks on their website. So, will do 3 was waiting period be part of the 9weeks or not. IQAs is yet to acknowledge my application as they acknowledge Wifey's own 10days after faxing. Also, my school is yet to send mine to iqas which they promised doing by next week, I am now concerned of how long this will take with the way IQAs is going. It might be up to Nov ending for us to get our ECA. Is it advisable for me to make another payment to either WES or ICES for my own asessment as my transcript is yet to be sent? Please what do u all think I should do. NB, wrote IElTs on Aug 19th, also there is paucity of funds.

Wether old or new passport you need to include all stamped pages. Don't know about children (I doubt it) better to be safe than sorry

Immigration is a slow and calculated process. First thing to worry about is your score. If you have 440 and above, your worry level should be at 5%. The payment for your own iqas has already been done, so you might as well wait it out.

I think what you should do is quickly raise a cse and attach the stamped pages of your passports and send to them immediately.

I didn't include them because the stamped pages are in my old passport and I just got a new one which I used for my application as that one has less than six months to expiration. It seems IQAS is now the new bottleneck. I faxed my documents to them over a week and no acknowledgement up till now. With the stories, I am reading regarding them, I'm worried how long this will last.

Please is there any one who has sent transcripts to WES from ABSU? Is it straightforward process and how long did it take for them to confirm the inquiry from WES?

It states that what I have is equivalent to three years diploma and one year postgraduate certificate. I used this for my EE profile and from the info i got from CIC website, It is still valid and suitable for application. But I now notice some people's comment seem to indicate there is another different report for IRCC.
Fortunately, i just tried to update my report but WES says It does not need an update, i would rather order a duplicate report for IRCC.

this plus the info i just read on IRCC webpage means it is still valid.

No I didnt. But I think the Course by Course is more detailed so transcript is scrutinized. I say this because for my spouse's verification, the school only verified via email. No hard copy transcript was sent to them. It took them about 20 working days to complete the whole process. Meanwhile for my course by course, hard copy transcript was couriered to them. Just my opinion

My course by course did not have ECA number and when I inquired, WES said it was not suitable for immigration purpose hence my upgrade.

I used Stanbic as well......They won't give you anything different from their template....so just collect it the way it is, add your SOA and state in your LOE that u cdnt get the letter in the specified format.

It all depends on the province. Some can even take up to a year (Manitoba for example). PR application can also take up to a year if it is paper-based application.

Na true o. That PNP route should simply be the last resort especially for those who can't meet the language requirements to get direct ITA.
