Hello domvic, there are various factors that will determine what your score 'will likely look like'. e.g, your age, your IELTS scores, what WES evaluated your credential to be equivalent to. your work experience etc. Your hubby may or may not do WES and IELTS depending on what your CRS total is. you can use this link to arrive at your likely score. cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp domvic: |

I read through your question earlier and didn't really understand it, just left it for people that do. Do you mean professional association/ memberships and the likes. If that is the case, no I didn't. I don't even think your form will validate if you try putting it, that I know for "organizations". And there is no implication. If the above doesn't answer your question, I suggest you rephrase so you can get help. tbaby2015: 1 Like |

fidelism: HI Fidelis. Let me share my experience with you. You need to practice listening seriously. Go to YouTube, search ielts listening test. You will see quite a number of the test there. Just keep practicing it. Now, questions 1-20 are usually not so difficult. So try to maximize this aspect for 20/20. Questions 20-30 is full of either lectures or diagram. For the lecture part, they do a lot of paraphrasing here. Please familiarize you self with the questions. What I did was to ignore the options given as answers. I wrote down what the true answers are from the recording on my question paper. During the last 10 minutes given to write your answers on the answer booklets, I looked through the answers and choose the one with the same meaning with my jotting. Eg they may use words like "check the internet" as the correct answer in the recording but in the options you won't see anything like internet but "view the website" as the answer (this is just an illustration). For the last 30-40 question, you need 100% concentration. Follow the story indepth like you are learning from a lecture. Please be fast at writing the answers too. Lastly, CHECK YOUR SPELLINGS at the end of the exams. Make sure you have spelt all the words correctly. I pray for success for you sir. Cheers 14 Likes 1 Share |

To answer your questions, we will need the following information: 1. How old are you now and when is your next birthday? 2. what level of education did you assess? (professional course, Master or BSC)? 3. What did you get in IELTS' SLRW 4. Do you have a sibling (sister or brother or brother in-law or sister in-law) in Canada? With the information above, we can tell you exactly what your points will be. Meanwhile, you can also do that yourself using this tool http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp domvic: |

WES' assessment can be used to apply to CIC for immigration purposes (which I believe can also be used for job) and if you assess your degree course by course, you can use it for academic purposes. Tdadz: |

With your current status, you have only 326 points. This is very very low and won't give you an ITA but you can do the following to take the points higher: 1. Re-write IELTS and aim for L 8.5 S7.5 R8 W8 2. Your spouse HAS to write IELTS and try to get 8777 and also assess his degree for more points 3. Look out for PNP and give it a try. By the way, if your spouse is younger, has a masters and better IELTS scores, you guys will stand a better chance with him being the principal applicant. domvic: 1 Like |

Madam, after imputing your details, your score is 326 (I used 35 years for your age since it's not December yet) so if we're using 36 that will be minus 5points. I later adjusted your listening score to 8 and I arrived at 376 & 371for 35 & 36 years respectively. You'll definitely need to retake your IELTS to have a minimum of 8777 in LRWS and your hubby may also need to gets his ECA and IELTS done to up your score with additional score of maximum of 30 points. Try use the link provided earlier and see for your self. You may also consider the possibility of hubby being the principal depending on his level of education, age and work experience. Hope I've been able to help a little. domvic: 1 Like |
