My wife and I are planning to go for honeymoon in Nov,we just got married last month..paid for visa fee and wanna schedule appointment so as to get earlier date..we have filled ds160 forms but remaining to upload the passport photographs...wife was sent on a rural posting cos shes into medical services and won't be back until next week..I wish to wait for her to return before submitting the ds160 form due to the fact that all the mumu photographers there are not getting the size..now can I still book appointment with the present code on our ds160 ..cos I saved the details on our laptop...since I can still login and out frequently

Schedule your interview date and when your wife returns submit the ds160 form although it's not always advisable but you need to get an earlier date.

ive been a silent and ardent follower of this thread. we had our interview sometimes last week and twas a Yes! thanks to everyone who contribute to this thread.... all the silly questions,genuine experiences have all contributed to become a wealth of knowledge. We followed through, painstakinly filled the form by ourselves,go over the forms individually and also together to ensure we donot make any mistake before we submitted. Though the interviw date we got was close to our planned date .... but in all we thank God for favour. transcipt loading....

I thought as much too, the 3 months visa with non appearance, only in US, u ain't going to get that... All applicants for visa must appear before a VO for credibility check..
That being said, am right to say the visa is "Oluwole visa" which is tantamount to deportation at the POE or even land him in police net when he gets into our dear motherland....

At the embassy the young dark in complexion lady asked what he is going to do in the US & he answered nicely and the lady stretched her hand asking him to bring out "invitation letter" . He brought out the conference stuff & the girl replied No this is not it. It was at this point he goofed up. He was denied visa. He called his brother in US & the guy said it is the print out doc written "product & pricing" carrying info such as conference date/venue, check in check out , hotel amount, conference duration. I want to know if this is truly the invitation stuff because his brother keeps arguing & angry since. Na truth me wan dig out so. Thanks

I initially planned to go on vacation alone but recently my wife also showed interest to travel with me. However, I am yet to submit my DS 160 form but an appointment date has already been scheduled ahead of time. Now that we have decided to apply together, do i have to reschedule another appointment for both of us? Or can I just include her on the application and then show up together on the already scheduled interview date?

However, if that's your monthly income you refused to shine, when you were asked about your business the second time. The VO gave you a second chance but you didn't take it.

If I were you, I would have said something like "I am into production of animal feeds (or whichever aspect of agriculture business you're into) with average yearly turnover of XX million naira. I paid personal income tax of xx hundred thousand naira last year".

It reasonable for the VO to think that way, but she equally had an open mind. She gave you the opportunity to clear her doubt by following up with question on your job the second time.

You don't have to visit other places if you really don't want to, but next time you should learn how to demonstrate that your well paying job/business is your "strong tie" to Nija.

However, since your children already knew they should go on vacation to US you can make up with a visa stress free country like UAE.
