Since my school is resuming on the 20th September and yet the agent doing the documents for me his yet to fill Ds-160 not to talk of booking appointment with the embassy. Please highlight and enlighten me more cause I'm confused as he keeps saying make I chill.

Take my advice..defer your admission to spring and start the processing again by your self.. you are lucky the Agent guy haven't fill your Ds-160 form other wise you will have inacurate information on your Ds-160. If you don't believe, then continue with the Agent.. Goodluck!

Those plans are as good as useless. Read the fine print, the cheapest covers him only up to $200,000, then he's on the hook for the rest. Also, the plans mostly cover only about 80% of cost. If he ever has to stay in a hospital for over a week, he'll hit his max coverage and be in serious debt after that. I would not encourage a foreign student to get such useless insurance just to save $60/month. As i mentioned before, insurance premiums costing a little over $100/month is absurdly cheap...

More than simply looking at the cost of premiums, it is important to actually figure out what the plans cover, at what cost and to whom.

During my Admission process....i was asked to courier only my Transcript to the school....which I did..... There was no evaluation process whatsoever.....Cheers!

I used amazon in my time but never new ...always bought used book. Kept it very well for that semester and sold it back used next semester.... in some cases i sold it for same or slightly higher than i got it...however in the ones that a new edition came out between that semester it crashed or made the version i bought unsellable so had one or two i couldnt sell

Like femi told you, Library Genesis http://libgen.io is a big database of free ebooks. Though there are lots of medical book online, my search on lib gen yields 97% success all the time. So if your book is not there, you may never find it free online. Another one is Internet Archive Search http://archive.org

Also you don't really need to buy if the textbook wont be that useful after your program, you can always borrow textbooks in your school Library for the whole semester. Alternatively, ask colleagues who have gone through the class to lend you theirs for the semester or download online at http://gen.lib.rus.ec if you don't find it there, you cant find it anywhere except there is a miracle.

Most schools usually count from the last two years. I would suggest you do WES evaluation or ECE. Which would you consider your good standing in school, your first two years or the last two?

From the Lil I can understand, you Prolly didn't do your research well, why should u apply to a school that needs a minimum of 2.7 /4 and u said yours is 2.5/4, you just wasting your time.

My advise to add to what others have said, do a proper research, find out school requirements for admission, not just schools but departments also, some departments may require other conditions aside the school own. And also mail the school and ask for information where u ain't clear. Best of luck
