VD with epidural 60k? Please what am I doing in this Lagos for gossake? When people are paying times 2 of that to shout "iz pushing me oh"

But seriously has someone actually gotten epidural that cheap? As in, not "doctor said" but "I paid x amount and i didnt feel chikini pain laidis" Cos even oyinbo that invented the medicine, epidural is at least an additional 1000 dollars

@proudmum38.my sister I experienced it in both first and this second pregnancy. intact I still dey urinate often even in second trimester.the secret is for you to reduce your water intake 2hrs before your sleeping time so you won't have to break your sleep in the be of waking up to use the toilet. Also each pregnancy package is different.you won't believe that with my first pregnancy I didn't have any issue from beginning to the end.no pregnancy sign except for increasing tommy size at due time.but this second one I had nausea and vomiting in second month and third month that I had to be given injection to stop the vomiting. all the same.enjoy your pregnancy dear......kisses

Because it's expensive/not an option in most hospitals in Nigeria. No normal person likes pain

That's is why it is always given when you are 4cm to 5cm dilated...You don't really have to take it twice if it's been administered by a good Anethetist,he/she can always top it up if it's wearing off and dat shldnt be a separate charge...not heard of pple taking it twice but and even if they did, the hospital shld be able to give Discounts on the hospital charges!!

Apart from that,u wld av experience half of d pain already ,because if they administered it early like 2cm it might stop you from dilating further, so most hospital gives from 5cm above.those that gives epidural 2nd time, maybe d patient is still experiencing pain,moreso if u dnt dilate well,u might end up wit c.s at d end of d day its has is pro and cons too

I had my own reservations about about the epidural talk but I decided to jump and pass because I know we different levels of perception. Please I no want another WW. I have delivered both my previous babies through CS not VD though but used epidural, first hospital asokoro and second Island maternity, for the entire procedure was about 60k so i don't see why epidural can't be administered for that price.

Pls opinions vary, so does experiences, if someone says i've had epidural for 5k, shebi na to waka pass, were you there? Why the arguement? Besides epidural is rather common these days. There's nothing wrong with saying ohhhhh i thought it will be more expensive, i guess some places are cheap.

Same here o, didn't have any symptoms with my first except food aversion but this pregnancy dey do me ntor. Funny enough I'm not taking enough water as the taste put me off, I'm only taking milo tea. I tried taking hot/warm water this morning as suggested by sisters here but it didn't go well. So where the piss dey from come

Lol welcome. The price for natural birth in the hospital is 20k then 40k to bring in the specialist from the teaching hospital to give the epidural. Ekiti is still a developing state so most things are cheap here

My cousin that is a gynae told me he went to onitsha last week to administer epidural for 50k, he has his own hospital in delta but also works in UBTH. I had to call him to confirm the price when the doctor told me about it. It varies Sis

It is well...used otrivin but that can't be used for long.....heat does nothing for me, so does rub, olbas oil, nothing.....only otrivin worked n that can't be used for long else it will get worse... Biko I'm I the only one that suffers this insomnia? Like I will sleep around 10pm wake up 12am and don't sleep again till about 4am. Last night was worse because I slept 11pm woke up by 12am and couldn't sleep again. All my attempt to sleep proved abortive so I had to start cleaning and doing housework by 2am and I finished by 4:30am, slept by 5am and still woke up by 6. The only good thing about it is that I can lie on my bed because I've done 90% of the housechores but I hope it won't affect my blood pressure though. I've been maintaining my blood pressure at 110/60 since pregnancy started oh.

This insomnia of a thing also happen to me during my pregy days,i usually drink warm milk every night nd it really help..try taking warm milk before yu sleep,sorry dear.
