ijeshaboy: Has anyone terminated TB before maturity with GT or any other bank? I tried to terminate the TB I have with GT this week but the offer they gave was very discouraging. The TB has just 70 days to maturity but what they offered was too ridiculous. |

ijeshaboy: I prefer to wait till maturity and source the fund I need somewhere else. Mutual fund is good but you won't get the rate of return we are currently getting from TB. The true yield of a 364 days TB @ 18.2% is over 22%. Mutual fund can not natch that. 1 Like |

Gavrelino123: PLEASE O. I have said it before that I am not a Guru at all. We are all learning from each other and I honestly don't see anything that qualifies me as a Guru as I have also been learning one thing or the other from so many people on this forum. 1 Like |

My Oga, anyway you want to look at it, You are a figure of reference on this thread like so many of my Ogas. I believe we all are learning from this thread like you said (Probably why I never close the tab on my browser). Nonetheless, I duff my heart. TONY56:[quote author=TONY56 post=59841128] |

Hey guys.....pls allow @tony56 .......he is only being modest. Truly any man who says he knows it all invariably knows nothing. Someone started this thread....in my time here,so many have impacted my life.....so he is right. In other news....what r the projections for next auctions and even for next year. Because as it is ,we r all in the business called The MONEY MARKET. |

Yes back to the matter... Please someone analyse the below. https://www.thecable.ng/bad-outing-bonds-investors-shun-auctions The last Bond auction was largely under-subscribed, according to the DMO. Hope this will not cause the upcoming NTB auction to be over-subscribed, thereby bringing down the discount rates. zamirikpo: |

Good day great minds. So I have decided to take a step. I will be going to Stabic IBTC to enquire about their Tbills having rounded up my saving to 100k through a little more hustle. I hope my journey into Tbills won't be 'sleep draining' lol I can't thank you all contributing usefully to this group enough, I have learnt a trailer load. |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by TONY56: 1:47pm On Aug 28, 2017 |
GODAKPAN: You can't be sure until after the bidding but it's going to be in the neighbourhood of N170,000 + or -considering the last and recent rates and also depending on First Bank bid rate. Mind you, your upfront interest may not be paid until Friday but definitely not on Wednesday except those who invested through STANBIC. 1 Like |
