Hello all, happy weekend. How's it going from your perspective, how is your side of the view? So Uber just rolled out a new insurance cover in partnership with AXA Mansard and I'm absolutely excited to tell you about it. Both Uber and AXA are international business with operations in Nigeria, they are both quite credible companies. The Insurance is a driver-centric one, focusing on covering driver liability. It is tailor made for partner-drivers. The insurance covers Uber drivers whenever they are online and have an accident. Whenever an accident occurs, the driver should take pictures, let the police know and contact Uber via the Help tab on the driver app. As an Uber driver, what does this new protection mean for you? Your medical expenses, ground ambulance expenses, disability payments and survivors benefits are now covered in the event of any accident that occurs while actively using the Uber App. Here is what is covered; Medical Expenses Up to ₦2,250,000* Ground Ambulance ExpensesUp to ₦20,000 Permanent Disability (total or partial)Up to ₦7,500,000 DeathUp to ₦7,500,000 Funeral Expenses₦100,000 Annual Cost to Partner₦0 *Medical expenses amounting to less than ₦10,000 are not covered. Yes, it's totally free to access, as a driver, know that whenever you go online on Uber, you are covered. Feel free to contact us if you would like to know more about this. 1 Like |

Drivers wanted...experienced uber and Taxify 30k rental...Honda 07...Note: driver takes care of repairs on the job and partner services monthly. This development is because partners feel drivers now use the car recklessly because they don't spend on repairs. Interested? Chat 08058145867 2 vehicles available. |

pholubaba: Bros, it's not that drivers intentionally drive to wreck the car. The truth is, roads are bad and right now on Uber, u have to work twice as you used to before, to earn something tangible. This implies more work on the car on very bad roads, coupled with the rain. So repairs are inevitable. So if you say driver should do repairs, the driver might still come and drop the car for you because he won't even see the money for the repairs. 5 Likes |

Hi all, I just had these weird thought on my mind when working during the weekend, I was parked on a street waiting for taxify ride order that didn't take long to buzz in. I tried to think of the best possible option one would have in the kind of situation below. You received a request for pick up as usual, and when you got to the pick up location you were told to park right outside either by sms or call. After few minutes your riders approach the car and they came in armed with guns and probably loads of stolen money. Immediately they asked you to drive them to their destination, what would you do as a driver? I still can't figure what I'd do anyway. Make una enjoy una day and don't let all those riders that won't stop controlling your AC and radio volume ruin your positivity. 1 Like 1 Share |

On taxify, when registering as a partner who is not going to drive themself whose driver's license do you upload? Do you pair drivers to yourself as with Uber? Or must the driver be the one to register himself with your car documents?? Those into this please respond. Thanks |

For taxify, the driver does the registration himself. There's no partner/Driver arrangement like Uber Tessyekaks: |
