Ma'am which one do you use? I use the one with pink colour and I don't like the smell. I want to change it. The one you use, does it smell nice?

I was using the white one. Dh didn't like it and I'm yet to buy another. Have you tried the blue one?

cheesy I think date syrup is okay?quote author=hunniesuzie post=59867004]Sugar isn't the solution to low sugar. Eating carbohydrates like rice, bread, yam etc is. Refined sugar adds no value to the body except as a sweetener. That doctor needs to return his certificate grin
Cc voucher if you want to sweeten LOs foods use fruit purees like banana and apple. Absolutely no sugar and all such artificial sweetners

Please o the doctor said I should add plenty sugar to my baby's food when he's six months old...I thought babies dnt need sugar? And my husband agreed to it, i dnt want to give my baby sugar o! He said plentyy

Please change your doctor! This one will give you bad advise!

Babies need NO added sugar. Especially processed sugar and definitely not honey.

If you must sweeten from 6 months use fruits, these are naturally sweet.
At 21 months, i still do not use sugar in my dd's cereal. And she takes it just fine. If i must sweeten i use fruits or even use sweeter cereals like golden morn and mix with crushed corn flakes.

I have used Medela Manual pump and I say it's the best! I did my research before I bought a manual pump and Medela came out tops. I tried tommee tippee and lasinoh double pumps(electric) and I could be there for 1 hour waiting for a 150ml bottle to get filled up.
In comes my Medela, and I have a full bottle in 3 mins.
Everyone I recommended it too had the same experience.

Thank you very much for coming to my rescue, you have really saved me......I appreciate your response

Thought it was nothing much to worry about but the sleeplessness worries me oo. Please is it normal that he isnt sleeping at night as a result of this colic?

Sorry mama. Your baby will be fine. Its usually like dat.

My baby's coluc just subsides about3weeks ago when he clocked 2months. I had sleepless nightsss too and prayed for it to pass. Now,i sleep with ease but my baby can suck for africa, pheew!

Sugar ke, when their orishirishi cereal is already sweet even their milk/breast milk

That's why a Paed is much better for children. Very soon he'll ask you to put plenty Maggi/salt when cooking for your baby

grin grin grin Even curry, thyme and gbogbotigbo. ALL PAEDIATRICS ARE DOCTORS BUT NOT ALL DOCTORS ARE PAEDIATRICS.

Good afternoon wonderful mamas, i am new here, my baby is 3 days old and we are having issues with latching because my tip is flat, the nurse used syringe to pull it out but it still went back to being flat, anytime ds puts his mouth the milk will be pouring from the two breasts but there is no tip for him to grab he will just be crying, i have been feeding him mainly with the syringe i was given at the hospital but its not enough, please what can I do to bring this tip out.

iOmoge, how did you solve your inverted tips.

For now, keep putting him to breast and be sure he latches properly or get a breast pump, it helps to pull the tips out too.
Also note that hunger isn't necessarily what makes them cry so just breathe in and out.....
Crying is their coping mechanism.
