hi anyone can tell why my friend was denied a visa. He was to attend a two weeks conference in the US. At the embassy the young dark in complexion lady asked what he is going to do in the US & he answered nicely and the lady stretched her hand asking him to bring out "invitation letter" . He brought out the conference stuff & the girl replied No this is not it. It was at this point he goofed up. He was denied visa. He called his brother in US & the guy said it is the print out doc written "product & pricing" carrying info such as conference date/venue, check in check out , hotel amount, conference duration. I want to know if this is truly the invitation stuff because his brother keeps arguing & angry since. Na truth me wan dig out so. Thanks

Am going for interview next month in the USA embassy with two other people, my boss and his wife.....he is going for an official assignment over there and he as a strong tie in nigeria,am just a PA do I also need to prepare myself to answer question from Vo.thanks

It reasonable for the VO to think that way, but she equally had an open mind. She gave you the opportunity to clear her doubt by following up with question on your job the second time.

You don't have to visit other places if you really don't want to, but next time you should learn how to demonstrate that your well paying job/business is your "strong tie" to Nija.

However, since your children already knew they should go on vacation to US you can make up with a visa stress free country like UAE.

Hello fellows in the house,

I initially planned to go on vacation alone but recently my wife also showed interest to travel with me. However, I am yet to submit my DS 160 form but an appointment date has already been scheduled ahead of time. Now that we have decided to apply together, do i have to reschedule another appointment for both of us? Or can I just include her on the application and then show up together on the already scheduled interview date?

The guy don't know if nairaland exist sef. The whole stuff looks like this conference will be opportunity for him to relocate or disappear in the future. Remember most Nigerians hate to be told the truth or do the right stuff.

Have been making arrangement with wakanow for dubai and will be route to Kenya then back to Nigeria then might visit Ghana as well this month hope it does not mean if I make the whole trip same month September I don't want any thing to disturb when ever I want to to re apply ? If your visit to Ghana is for travel history, I suggest you rethink it since you are going to Dubai and Kenya.
If you love travelling, holidaying, tourism, then it is cool. But sir, don't spend all your accumulated leave in one go. You can visit Ghana next year or for Christmas. (You can't spend your leave and have it.)

I give thanks to Almighty Allah for he has been faithful, my visa was approved today by Gods grace at Lagos embassy... Time 10am. I arrived 6:35 am because i slept with a friend at army barrack, i'm from ibadan and you have to sleep over if you dont want to have heart attack in your bus... Lagos traffic . The crowd are much today as well as denial especially singles ,not easy mennnn.
