PLS MOTHERS WHAT IS THIS ON MY BABY NECK AND WHAT SHOULD I USE

Please remove that his sacramental first(I think the rope is causing more harm), you can wear it back after(please don't think otherwise). Could it be heat? Baby fat? Dunno ointment that you can use, Vaseline is good, clotrimazole dusting powder.

I have severe backache since yesterday. Been to the hospital did morning and the Dr gave me paracetamol and Lofnac ointment to use, he said that he had to cancel the other medication he would have loved to give me cos I told him I was still breastfeeding.

Paracetamol doesn't work for me so I'm thinking of getting Ibuprofen.
Can I take ibuprofen while nursing? Biko this pain is so much. Any movement of any part of my body hurts like crazy.

2ndly I noticed my dd loves Okro+ewedu soup with swallow a lot (even more than breastmilk). presently she takes it 2 or 3 times a week but my mum thinks I shld give her more since she takes it well.
I hope it's OK to increase?

That rope is eating deep into his neck. He's a big baby and water or sweat hides between the skin folds.

Keep the place dry by dabbing periodically with soft towel. Don't use powder, it stickies when mixed with sweat or water and makes the irritation worse.
I'm not really good with dishing out names of these antifungal creams.
I do know formula sure that Vaseline will prevent it from getting worse.

Your baby is almost one now? Is she very dependent on the breastmilk?
I had this ankle pain when I had Atinuke, it was always to painful to climb stairs, Dr prescribed diclofenac and I was like I'm a breastfeeding mom, he said it doesn't matter since Atinuke was like 10 months old and not totally dependent on me. He said since she doesn't breastfeed during the day, I should use the drugs in the morning and afternoon so by the time she's sucking in the late evening most of the drugs are out of my system.
Did you tell him your child was eating solids already?

Ibuprofen is safe. Allow your daughter eat to her fill Biko! Moreover 2-3 times a week isn't bad. Just make sure she gets her milk too.

I sincerely wish it's my son loving swallow and not golden morn and all them cereals.

Sorry about the pain.

iOmoge, how did you solve your inverted tips.

For now, keep putting him to breast and be sure he latches properly or get a breast pump, it helps to pull the tips out too.
Also note that hunger isn't necessarily what makes them cry so just breathe in and out.....
Crying is their coping mechanism.
breathing in and out , thank you ma i will try to get a breast pump.

Try and take a deep breath.

You can get a manual breastpump and it will help pull out your nipples.

I think you have flat nipples (I had that too). Try and hold onto your nipples and gently do a twisting motion to pull it out. It will go back to being flat but with time it will protrude.

Meanwhile, change your position: baby is not supposed to be grabbing the tip, he's supposed to get the entire Areola, especially the underside of the nipples. So make your fingers in a V (scissors like shape) and put it close to the nipples when feeding and push back or use your thumb and fingers to cup around your nipples (thumb on top, fingers on the bottom) and push back, it will help expose Areola more.

Buy the breastpump as soon as you can. Everything is going to be okay, alright smiley

It's not necessary. It's best not to get them used to sweet things

queensnow:
cheesy I think date syrup is okay?quote author=hunniesuzie post=59867004]Sugar isn't the solution to low sugar. Eating carbohydrates like rice, bread, yam etc is. Refined sugar adds no value to the body except as a sweetener. That doctor needs to return his certificate grin
Cc voucher if you want to sweeten LOs foods use fruit purees like banana and apple. Absolutely no sugar and all such artificial sweetners

Mamas in the house, I great Una. I am in a state of serious confusion. I need help like urgently. Its just 7days I have left for me is resume work and my ds will not suck feeder. I have been trying him with the feeder for over a month now still he has refused to suck. I have tried all kinds of feeder, avent, li-link, boot, camera, and I even bought the one with spoon the young man bluntly refused to take anyone. Today was even worse. Usually I. Have a principle of not breastfeeding during mass or church activity my son is already getting used to it so he doesn't cry in church. So I extracted milk in his feader cos I know I was going to my mums after church so after mass as usual he didn't cry, cos my parish is close to Shoprite I decided to do some shopping before going to my mums. I spent over 2 hrs at the mall just to see if he will suck the feeder if he is hungry just on my way out he started crying I made the milk lookwarm and gave him trying both nipple mouth and spoon mouth he bluntly refused and cried himself to sleep so I kept the food until I arrived at my mums at about 2pm and fed him again he still refused. My mum felt sorry for him and said I should breast feed him and I did just that and he started sucking trowing legs and dragging hair and giving me the you think u are smart look.
Now the question is what should I Do cos he doesn't even take it from cup with spoon. But he likes to leak soup and he is just 4months and one week old.

ABOUT WHERE TO KEEP HIM.
I have been trying to make arrangements with the girl that lived with my MIL to come over and stay she will be following me to work and stay at a colleagues house in The staff quarters so that I can be going to breast feed him on demand.until he is 6months old when I will start solid. But the arrangement is still not concrete.

Alternatively a lady at the staff quarters said we can bring the kids to her house and pay her a token. She has two kids the last one just started pre school this new. Session it sounds good to me but hubby said she is a stranger.

There is a daycare opposite my work place that is ok and affordable but I am scared of daycare

Pls I don't know what to do as time is running out.

Secondly I was diagnosed with 1plus maleria and protein in urine when they gave me coatem and amoixil which I just finished talking but if I lift any object heavier than my baby all my joint starts paining me and I am always catching cold. I can't even use bare feet to walk around my house

I stopped taking my calcium, vit c, fesolate folic acid and vit Bcomplex for 3days and I started haven't pelvic joint pain like I usually have during pregnancy. I thought of going to the hospital tomorrow but it had subsided since I started talking it again.

now the thought of going back to work is making me sick.

I need all the advice I can get.

Good evening and Congratulobia on our new Job.

Sorry I couldn't reply your mention earlier.

My family house was robbed while the household was asleep and we would find out later that it was setup by a relative who had threatened my mom.

I've felt disenchanted since then.

I saw your picture.
Cute woman you are.
Please don't keto anymore.

If you need flat tummy, eat your Normal food till 4pm and drink just water till the next day.

It works.

About sugar intake for infants. Its not to be encouraged. I shun sugar. I don't want my girl becoming a sweet tooth. The cons are too much.

My little one had a fever yesterday.
I've given pcm.
Given amoxil and mvt
Still persists.

We had treated pneumonia and malaria 2 weeks ago.
Throughout the week, she was fine o. Very hale and hearty, only for me to notice fever yesterday.

I don't feel happy. I really don't know what to do anymore. Her Paed's number is switched off.

Mizmycoli, sorry about everything.
God will replace your loss in triplefold. Amin

She might be teething.
Amoxil will only be efficient if she has an infection.
Wipe her down with a wet rag. Don't be tempted to give her a cold shower. Don't please.

I decided to start on amoxil because the last time we were at the doctor's, he told me to start amoxil. I was reluctant because she was okay already. So I thought to wait another 2 weeks before starting amoxil.

The fever made me get the amoxil by force.

I have been using towel and water on her body.

She has just pantyhose and singlet on now.
All windows shut.
No fan.

Yes, you're right.
We noticed a tooth today.

Thank you.
Amen to your prayers.

I really thank you.
