My 2 cents on IELTS, ECA n PP
Imagine these 2 scenerios:
Mr A uploads all the doc, IELTS, ECA stamped copies of old and new passports

Mr B uploads all but no IElTS, ECA and no old passport.

Assume u are the VO, u pick both files, u obviously will prefer to work on Mr A file first becos
1, he seem really transparent and open.
2 he has made your work easier, you may not need to contact other embassies and British council.

On the other, u will send Mr Bs file to confirmation unit, they have to confirm and provide evidence of ielts, travel history and eca and it eventually comes out positive.

Results: MR A and B both got PPR, Mr A most likely within 1 month or two. MR B "we have the same AOR, what's delaying my file" it comes out after 5months.

I don't think it will cost us any thing to provide very important doc like IELTS, ECA and stamped old passport.

Good evening all,

I have been following posts concerning WES evaluation closely and I have been quite fearful. Clearly stated that my purpose for ECA is immigration and I have a saved copy of my order page. However, my reference code does not contain the IMM everyone has been saying it should have.

I sent a mail to WES Friday evening and await their clarification but is there really any serious implication if the ECA doesn't start with IMM? Has anyone gotten their ECA from WES in recent times? Mine was gotten July 11th.

Seniors in the house please help.

I did not include the exact dates but I mentioned the no of times and the reasons. However, in the schedule A form, I mentioned the month and year.

sad When it was sweeting us to travel upandan. Now I am breaking my head for PCC from different annoying places. Thanks everyone.
To be on the safe side, I will upload the data page and visas/stamped pages for current passport. Then visa pages and stamped pages only for older passports.
Better to overdo than to do too little.

Trust me you can't go wrong! Even by doing all these they still sent me AdR asking for my old passport pages and stamps and specifically USA visa stamp.....which I even uploaded b4 oh!

The thing is people don't understand the context of that tweet. Normally, you should scan only your current passport in that placeholder. That's what they need there. (not like if u even add old passport u would be rejected).

NB: I had scanned all before and uploaded in the LOE section to avoid confusion. I did that to support my extensive travel hx within 10years.

Hello house, I have been reading and following this thread for months now and just begun the process of my certificate with IQAS as I heard they are better with LLB degrees. I began to do some little research of life of an LLB holder in canada and seems to be overwhelmed with fear. From NCA process to articling which the opinions haven't been encouraging and my fears are telling me to give up already. The motivation seems to be going down. And I keep asking myself if there is anything one can do with the LLB while going through the other processes like NCA + Articling knowing that these process might take a little time. Please is there anyone in the house with a little word of advice/encouragement. This house has been so helpful. Thanks to everyone. Please I did not mean to bother you all with my personal issues. Please your input/suggestion might be my motivation. Thanks.

My dear, same pathway for doctors and other regulated fields!! It's cumbersome but people have sailed through successfully.

However it's good to plan and decide how to face the harsh realities. Some people just have plans to get the Canadian Passport after three years and go work anywhere. But even that has some side effects.

Just do your research and make informed decisions.

@doctors in the house, do we have any whatsapp group? Especially one that has docs in the Canadian pathways!! Pls if u have let me know! Or let's make one.....been doing my own research fulltime but wanna hear the stories of others both in the game and yet to get in.

Good morning people, this issue is giving me concern. Earlier I had sent iqas my certificate via hellofax which they acknowledged in about 2 days. They were waiting for my transcript which did not leave Nigeria after about 7 weeks. Eventually, it was sent and delivered to them but they are yet to send me an acknowledgement mail and it's been well over 4 weeks from the date if delivery to them

Then

Mr C - He uploads EVERYTHING required as he is abreast with the whole process and even guided others on EXPRESS entry!!

But NOVA SCOTIA and LONDON VO just like his face to be dangling in their offices for atleast 6months grin grin

Lol....CIC has no defined pattern finally!

But on a serious note, as regards ur advise...spot on, good to send all documents required so you can atleast have peace of mind!! It won't cost anything!

Thanks for this. This is the noc I considered using. I was just concerned at the descriptions they put there for the noc. I handle both local and foreign transfers, along with some other functions like issuing bank cheques.
40manlappy:

There is no single NOC for bank workers; your job description will determine the appropriate NOC to use.

Since you are in funds transfer unit, you may consider 1114. It has job titles such as "interbanking arrangements officer" and "foreign interbanking arrangements officer".

I am post ITA and facing the same problem. The thing is your ECA was not done for immigration, so on WES page, you just order a duplicate for IRCC purpose and the reference number will change to the one mentioned here (same number but will end in IMM). I already did that and waiting for my report today or tomorrow. If you are pre ITA better to do this now cos I learnt the new date of issue will change to the date of your new IRCC duplicate. As for me I will just have to write an LOE to correct the error as it will not lower my score

Just because you were one of the lucky ones that got away with not uploading your IELTS and ECA doesn't mean you should mislead others. You could have just written your experience as opposed to discrediting other people's advise ( calling it false).
New comers please always try and refer to the CIC website as they constantly update what documents they need from you. Please attach your IELTS and ECA to your degree certificates, it's what IRCC requires.
There's no point in being refused for something you could have done right.
This journey is draining enough....

Wait I, I don't have hard copy of my WES ECA o since last year
