Hello Nairalanders,

Please I need suggestions/advice on which university in Australia to pursue a bachelor's degree in management and how to go about it. Please I need more information on cost, visa requirements, etc. I intend to start next year.

Please if there's any reputable agency that could help me through this I'll appreciate such information as well.

Thanks in advance.

Since it is related to your field, go for it bro. But it's for short term, unlike the medium and long-term list, which means that for the course on the short term list, u either be sponsored by the state or an employer will sponsor you, while the medium and long-term, u don't need anyone to sponsor you once you meet the 60points minimum mark for PR u are good to go.

Ok.
Thank you.
Might do TaFe.

Have you gotten your new CoE? If you have, your new health insurance start date will be there.

Nope. The OSHC is effective from the day you step into Australia.

Hello all

It is hard to believe that someone that intend to study in a developed country will be asking questions like

How do I apply for admission ?

What is the address of the embassy ?

What are the requirement for admission ?

What is the website of Australia embassy ?

List of schools in Australia ?

These are simple straightforward questions that has been answered already numerous times on this thread even if you are too lazy to use Google.

All the Schools websites are on Google and their website are very straightforward with steps and admission procedure.

The Australia immigration website is also simple with checklists, procedures and steps.

You have no business studying abroad if you can't do simple research to get answers to simple questions.

Well said bro , people are too lazy these days , if you can't do a simple google search , how can you possibly write a good thesis to satisfy the requirements of your program , it's a pity.

Good morning house, I finally got a reply from the embassy in which i was rejected, i want to apply again, changing institution and course.

I honestly need help from anybody who has gone true this process of being rejected and later accepted.

Kindly help me out.

Also am thinking of applying at the same time to Canada, is it possible to apply simultaneously to two different countries?

What reason were you given for the rejection?

One of their several reasons was my age and that i was young and since my sister already has PR it will discourage me from coming back to Nigeria after my studies since i have just my immediate family here in Nigeria.

And secondly that i could always study my proposed course in Nigeria, my proposed course was Diploma in Entrepreneur.

this was the main reasons among others tho.

Let your sister help out since she on PR things, use her influence to enter naa. Wen she was filling her PR she ought to have included your name to make it easy for u to move, anyway refusal is not the end, buckle up.

But I don't know that much. But I will advise you work alone like not including your sis to your application so it doesn't raise brows. I might be wrong tho but I would advise that. My sister is studying there but I don't intend to mention it cos it might raise brows for me. Then maybe work on taking another course. I know how it feels but try and make the next a stronger application.

Make them feel you have the money to spend that you are not going to depend on anyone that could help too.

Diploma in entrepreneur ? What kind of course is that sef. No one will be convinced that you intend to study diploma in entrepreneur even me that I am not co is not convinced. Spend millions and travel thousands km to study that kind of course ? RED FLAG.

I guess you already have a bachelor degree since you mention immediate family too, I am guessing you are married and you are probably in your 30s.

Your sister can do nothing to move you to Australia as you are not a minor and the only option is for her to sponsor you as a skilled person through skillselect after you must have done assessment and English exam.

You can choose a more specialised course that is related to your background and experience but your Chance of getting Grant has reduced.

Your application was poor.

The key to getting Grant for applicants from countries like nigeria is to convince the case officers that you are genuine by choosing courses that is related your qualification and work experiences.

When you arrive, you can change to course that suits you but on same level (you cannot get visa as an Msc student and change to bsc)

Based on the info here and the timeline of your application, it is obvious the CO did not even second guess the application. smiley

Maybe if you were between 17 to 22 years, the diploma in entrepreneur might have been justified and a strong sop would have been written.

Applicant is young that means s/he is between 18-24. Immediate family could be your parents and siblings not necessarily mean you are married though it could be your spouse or children too.

In my opinion, when re applying you need to put up a strong and convincing SOP to let the CO know the reason why you want to study your intended program in Australia and not in Nigeria and also show something that will serve as a strong tie to your country which could be inform of land procurement, future employment etc, just to let them know you have something waiting for you in Nigeria after your studies.

Winners never quit and quitters never win.

Na wa oo.

Conference starts in Sydney on 4th September, today 29th, Visa not yet out.

Why DIBP?

Why?

Is it because there is no Embassy in Nigeria?

One of the numerous reasons oo, that our foreign affairs minister is just flying up and down, there is nothing stopping us from having australia, and even Canadian embassies, etc in nigeria. We have a serious leadership problem, so we are bearing the brunt, may be in 50yrs or more we will get it right, for now we just have to bear all the delays and unnecessary excuses. It is well.

Hey good job tracking me down, lol. How can I help?

Maybe people don't mention it cos their Bachelor of Nursing isn't reputable or the location isn't suitable. For nursing degrees, the Uni you choose matters cos you don't want to struggle for placements during studies or jobs after graduation. I'll be doing the entire next semester of my practical unit in a reputable hospital, thanks to WSU. Cheap doesn't always mean good you know.

When people refuse to take sound advice, they end up in cities with no good jobs, doing mean and frustrating jobs with little pay. This makes them bitter because they are always tired and worn out, so they give others the impression that Australia isn't a good country for Intl students. And most times they have to search for obese ghetto white women/men as their only way out of frustration grin. Choose the right course and city and your life will be a bliss. Mine is a bliss, there's no city or country I would rather be right now #sydneyrocks cheesy

The way u dey hype ds Sydney ehn, body just dey sweet me for u. I'll pm you about migrating to Aussie. I wanna keep it private pls.

Good job you've been doing here.

WSU is AL2. Cost of living is higher in Sydney and so are the wages. I'm not sure about internships but that should depend on the course, check your course info page. School fees are increased each year, no chance of being lower second or third year. You can work within the allowed 40 per fortnight during school term and still make good grades easily but it's up to you.

I applied through PFL but they didn't make any difference in my application, feel like I wasted my 100k. WSU don't require agents for applications.

U mean I can just go ahead and apply right now on my laptop?

Advice to y'all...do not mind those excuses given for rejection of visa by aussie embassy because the documents some of those people that were granted visa presented didn't have half of the quality yours have. it doesn't also mean they are better than you. everything in life takes the grace of GOD. know GOD, pray to Him because only for knowing JESUS truly and believing in Him can make Him compel men to favour you. in otherwords JESUS can make the embassy give you your visa without stress no matter what your documents says...whether you're young or old, whether your course is allowed or not, whether your sop is strong or not. All those things doesn't matter. all you need to do is sincerely place your documents in the hands of JESUS and let him settle your case. do that and I bet you, you will never be denied visa no matter the circumstances...I repeat, you will never be denied visa no matter the circumstances. children of the most high God no dey carry last.

I would advise you to change to social work degree for better job prospects and also for eligibility to become a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Both degrees are closely related tho, and you can still get social work jobs with your social science degree but it's better to be on the safer side. Be sure to choose accredited degrees to avoid wasting your $$$.

AUD 41,000 is less than the entry level salary for Social Workers in Sydney. It's a great career path and you can make heaps of money if you're smart. I'm currently doing Youth Work (stopped doing disability a long time ago) which related to Social Work, some of my colleagues easily make AUD 100,000 per year (not managerial level) with no stress. Yeah I know, the salaries in Sydney are awesome...one of the reasons it's the best city to be right now!!!

Cool money, dts like 28million naira per annum in naija.

200k to 300k per month don taya person for ds naija jare.
