Can someone in the UK apply on my behalf using his proof of address in the UK as I do not have proof of address in nija cuz of the way the system is? I intend giving a letter of authorization, int passport and passport photographs.
Also, does my wife need the UK PCC as am the primary applicant as she had stayed more than 6 months in the UK?

I used my bank's statement of account as my address was there. Can you get this. Your spouse would need uk pcc if she has also spent over 6mnths cumulative irrespective of the fact that she isnt the PA

We got ITA after I changed to the Primary Applicant.
However, there is a challenge. Kindly read below for further insight into the issue;

============================================================================
In 2008 when I was 20 years old, My mum wanted to be sure she will get my Brother and I into the UK.
She wanted to make my Brother and I get into the UK on a visit visa to get his British Birth Certificate from Homerton University Hospital (The Hospital my Brother was born in the UK in September 1994) as it was lost at the time.

I must quickly state that In August of 1994, I went to the UK with a Nigerian Passport that carried my Actual details.

My Mum then in April of 2008 enlisted the service of Visa Application Specialist/Agent whom she believed strongly won't fail in getting the visa.
The Agent went ahead to get a Birth Certificate from Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State and in turn, that Birth Certificate was used to get a Nigerian Passport in a First Name and age different from what I was actually born with. The age was reduced to 16 for reasons best known to the agent. While I was in school, The agent filled the UK application form on my behalf, made me sign and asked me to proceed to the Visa Application office in Oregun, Lagos state for my Biometrics to be captured.
The application for the UK Visa was subsequently denied on the grounds that I did not show sufficient proof that I will return to Nigeria. However, my Brother was granted a visa.

All my documents from my Primary School, Secondary School, and University carry my actual age and name and it will be really expensive to fit these documents into the charade and "lie" the Agent created.

I had to wait till 2013 which was when I had enough money to correct this lie.
I will like to state that, there was no Affidavit or change of name document from my Actual name and age to the one the agent my Mum used and from that name back to my Actual name.

All I did was approach the Nigerian Immigration service and told them that the Passport carried a different name and age from my actual took all documents carrying my actual age, including; University transcript, Secondary school Testimonial certificate and my Declaration of age.
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) immediately withdrew that passport as I cannot carry 2 valid passports concurrently. The NIS issued me a fresh passport with my actual age and name.

My wife wanted to Surprise me with a Christmas trip to the UK, so she went ahead to fill, submit and pay for the application. I do acknowledge that I didn't get the chance to review the application as filed by her.
She didn't remember that I once had a passport history with my First name and age different from my actual and current passport.

On the 16th of August 2017, My UK Visa application was refused on grounds of;
1. Failing to declare that I was refused a visa to the UK in 2008
2. Failing to declare that I had a previous passport within the last 10 years which carried a different first name and age which was used to apply to the UK in 2008 but refused.
============================================================================

The above written is the Letter I intend to give as an explanation for the Visa denial and explain the circumstances leading to the differing name.

I want to know;
1. How to handle this under personal details where I am asked if I have ever had another name other than my current one? As I feel the need to state that I have had another name before now.
2. What proof do I need to show to prove my innocence in this especially with the age? As I am certain that I need to state that I have been refused by the UK twice on different passports.

Good morning, do i need to include my waec for ECA cause it was stated that i should include secondary and higher education study for analysis. Also please did you pay $322.05 and how do i pay?

I completed my ECA 2016, so i do not know about the current charges. As far as I know, You do not need to include WAEC. Just the higher degree you wanna gain points for Bachelors or Masters.

Pls what is the alternative/related NOC that someone that works as a customer service officer in a bank can choose? Considering that customer sevice officer falls under C working class which disqualifies one.Pls what is the way out?

How valid is the bolded? I am planing on using work experience from 2011-2014, I have both Bsc and Msc...Bsc was completed in 2010 while Msc was completed in 2015...I only did ECA for my Msc. Are you saying my work experience is invalid? The last time I checked, CIC says work experience from last 10 years can be used to gain point..

But note that for EE, your experience starts counting from your last degree and you must meet the one year experience requirement. So you must have at least one year of experience after the degree you are evaluating.

Hello @40manlappy I have been having issues deciding on which NOC to use. I currently work as an operational risk analyst (business continuity management) in a bank. I have previously worked in other units: Funds transfer, Credit Risk Analysis and Risk Reporting.

I can't seem to find any appropriate code to use. Can you help me please? There is no specific code for Risk Management functions.
Thank you.

As I understood the process, since your using your experience from 2011-2014, then I think you will need to evaluate only the bachelors.

But lets wait for the gurus in the house

They don't evaluate ICAN as an additional degree. If you have ATS though, don't fail to add it. WES evaluates that as a one-year college diploma.

OK thanks for the clarification. though I used US as an instance. mine is Malaysia and from CIC website to get a Malaysian PCC u need to get a request from CIC. so in the place holder I'll write that I need a request from them to get it (when I get to that bridge though). but irrespective of the country since they explicitly requested only the recent travel docs that's what I'm gonna do.
closetextrovert:

You will need to state your travel history and if US is one of the countries you have been to, they can easily find out because they share data for immigration purposes.

when it says First Name(s) it is asking for ‘first and middle name’. I forgot to put in my middle name in my whole profile (EE profile before ITA), however, and it's a locked field now; I can't edit pre-ITA (information provided while creating profile ) form now, in POST ITA form i have update my first name as 'First name middle name' using Modify family information, I can see its updated first name correctly in Post ITA form, But it did not updated in the Pre-ITA form .
will it create any problem? how do i deal with this situation? Is it OK to provide one and same person affidavit and explain it in LOE

Hi there, pls I am about to evaluate using ICES. Can i PM you to ask some questions about the process.

Trikings2000:

Why is everyone bent on using IQAS and WES. I used ICES (BCIT) and got it less than 4 weeks after they received my documents. That was abt 1.5months ago.

The only con is that that they dont send a soft copy, rather u are sent 2 hard copies.

You can use the work experience before your masters and evaluate the masters as you have. You are good to go. What is often required is that most of the NOCs in skill level A, B and C require you to have completed a 1st degree to work in the NOC.

hello House,

Please another clarification, I just went to DHL office to send my passports and I was told that I do not need to send pre-paid return envelope with my package, that once the passports are ready the high commission in Ghana will send me a mail and that is when I'll then go to DHL office to pay for the package to be returned and also a letter of authorization for the high commission to release the passports to DHL. I just wanted to run this by the house for seniors to please help out.

Thanks.

Plz I have read ur post on ICes but I need further clarification.
1-how did u make payment? Cos I read on their site that it's only credit card.
2-can we send transcripts to them without quoting any reference number while waiting for their response on how to pay.
Plz ur swift response is highly appreciated as I want to port from Iqas.
NB. Any other person with experience of ICes can also respond.

No need to worry. That's what everyone's profile shows just after getting PPR. It is updated after your passport has been stamped and you receive the COPR letter.
