Joebie:I remember u got it right on Awaziem but d guy had a bad day against SA,hope he bounce back and better coz age is on his side and Rohr already rate him than Omeruo meaning in d absence of Balogun,he is a sure starter. On Alampasu can Rohr take d risk against Cameroon,i always rate Akpeyi ahead of Ezenwa and Alampasu but to be sincere am not comfortable with him likewise Ezenwa but Alampasu to me a risk against Cameroon not that he is not good but d exposure just like it affect Awaziem against SA. |

I had to sit out this argument with forgiveness because I think it's uncalled for. I saw right through the post causing the flaring tempers. The gentleman was just being sarcastic for God's sake. I remember pointing this out to either joebie or humility017. Everyone here reacted the way they did because they've conditioned their minds to see forgiveness as tribalistic, though I've noticed some tribal undertunes laced in between his comments sometimes, I disagree with him under such instances, because whenever I'm here I rid myself off any form of ethnocentrism, rather I look at meritocracy. I agree with him as regards Kayode non-inclusion and rorh's reason for it. It was ridiculous. If you like you can go ahead to call me his ally, but truth is I admire his energy on this thread, he rarely takes shi.t personal and would laugh off things that would originally upset people out there. We all know who he is, what he stands for and if we continue to engage and attack him everytime he comes in here, why's then would we have left of this wonderful thread? Let's learn to accommodate each other and their ideas, no matter how unconventional it might sound. 6 Likes |

Opposition Watch: Twelve Invited Players Begin Training With Cameroon National Team Published: August 28, 2017 African champions Cameroon have started training for one of their most important games in recent years, the World Cup qualifier against Nigeria, according to reports from our neighbours. According to camfoot.com, of the 23 invited players, twelve participated in the first training session held in Yaounde on Monday morning. The Indomitable Lions are taking the games against Nigeria seriously as they might fail to qualify for Russia 2018 if points are dropped against Nigeria. Nigeria will host Cameroon in Uyo on September 1 before another meeting in Yaounde on September 4. |

Joebie: 'Expectation' is more of the reality on ground. For eg You may love Alampasu for what ever reason and then you 'prefer' him in goal but the reality is Akpeyi is first choice and so he is 'expected' to be in goal. Sentiments most times beclouds 'preference'. I go with 'expectation' rather than 'preference'. |

Kog45: Firstly,I have always known Ezenwa is a better keeper because I followed him in the local league. He is the quickest and more intelligent out of the three invited. I never really cared for Akpeyi because of this air of jittery around him. And going by Ezenwa's excellent performance at the CHAN qualifier I believe he has the momentum. Hate or love him ,Onazi is more experienced, very dependable and has proven himself more on super eagles shirt that the newbie,Ndidi. On this premise,I will start him ahead of Ndidi . In addition to that,Onazi excel when Mikel is present. P.S I will start Ogu ahead of Ndidi maybe because Ndidi rubbed me off the wrong against South Africa. I forgot we have Ola Aina but I am not a big fan of English groomed players. Awaziem is a true Naija and gets it and the whole mentality. Shehu is sitting on a thin ice...Don't care much for him. |
