Rangers and Enyimba has been making the region proud by dominating the NPL and the likes of Iwuanyanwu Nationale winning the trophy more than once.... We are in the 48 season now and here is the total trophy accumulated by SS & SE teams Defending champions Rangers International (Enugu)= 7 Enyimba (Aba)= 7 Iwuanyanwu Nationale (Owerri)= 5 Dolphin (Port Harcourt) (Includes Eagle Cement)= 3 Udoji United (Awka)= 1 Bayelsa United (Yenegoa)= 1 With a total of 24 trophies out of 47 available. I can relate why Nigeria don't want to let go of this region called Biafra! |
