smh@ public show of training. show the level of thinking of those in charge is so lackadaisical. Egypt and Tunisia are good at spying on cases like this. |

while Cameroon's training is closed to the public, I read. We did this before the SA match, and I remember SA reporters who witnessed our training, were saying we are too good for them, that they have already lost the game.. -- mind games. now here we go again. daveP: |

Joebie:IF its mind games with sa, it wont be so with afcon champs that can ensure key players get injured from bad tackles so that the 2nd leg in 4 days would favor them comfortably. I hope ROHR is noticing. we can do same to their dangerman too. but i'd like a 1st half pk. its not a cheap tactic, cos its also ruined us in the past as well 1 Like |

Isn't Iheanacho the golden boy? Iheanacho versus this and that.. The stats say he has the best goal per game ratio for SE in recent time. I don't care where he plays, as long as he delivers. The others that some of us are saying are better than him in the CF position, make dem no score first. 1 Like |

Official – Nigeria U23 Ace Stanley Amuzie Completes Move To Swiss Side FC Lugano August 29, 2017013 Nigeria U23 left full back Stanley Amuzie has joined Swiss side FC Lugano from Italian Serie A side Sampdoria subject to the 21 year old passing a routine medical. Amuzie re-joined the Serie A side last summer after distinguishing himself for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympics where Nigeria won bronze with Amuzie playing in almost of their games. However he failed to progress to the first team of the Serie A side despite his stellar performances for the Primavera side during the course of the same season. He will be hoping to get his European career underway in Switzerland after his not too impressive stint so far after playing just 13 games for second division Portuguese side Olhanense. Known for his calmness on the ball and abilities to join the attack, the lanky full back has two senior caps for Nigeria, both coming in the ill fated back to back AFCON 2016 qualifiers tie against Egypt. We Need Four Points From Clash Against Nigeria – Cameroon Coach August 29, 2017026 Hugo Broos Coach of the national team of Cameroon Hugo Broos says he is targeting four points from their upcoming back to back World Cup 2018 Qualifiers clash against Nigeria. Cameroon who are second in group B will take on Nigeria in Uyo and later in Yaounde in back to back games scheduled for the 1st and 4th of September respectively. Broos whose team are four points behind Nigeria who are on six points told the local media in Cameroon that four points is their target from the games, to help them draw level on points with Nigeria. The Portuguese coach said they plan picking a point in Nigeria, and hope to get all three points in Yaounde which according to him is a possibility considering the pool of talent in his team. goldfish80: So what was the evidence that led to the invitation of Onyekuru, Kayode and Osimhen to the National team? It is just a case of keep building. Ighalo was already in the team. He lost his place because he was not scoring for home or country. Also, Rohr might be considering playing Iheanacho behind the attack because Iheanacho can also pass. His assists stats show this. This might also be due to lack of good final passes. So if Iheanacho has to deliver the passes, Rohr needs to look for a striker. |

goldfish80: TheGoodJoe: 10:35am On Aug 23 Nwakeme is up there because of speed, skill and creativity. That is what I have always called for. So, I wonder your problem. You were talking about a big man upfront to lob long balls to. Which to me is a no and I have not changed my stance. So please, what is the problem? https://www.nairaland.com/3018619/new-super-eagles-thread-russia/1311#59745547 I wonder where the Heskey kind of player came from when I clearly put Nwakaeme to lead the attack because he will complement the speed, skill and creativity style a while ago. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:If Kelechi was effective and maybe scored hattrick, you think Rohr would have contemplated playing him behind a main striker? Food for thought. |

Having a rethink about my prior line up Akpeyi bearing last change according Rohr Aina. Balogun. Ekong. Echijiele Ndidi. ONazi V. Moses. Mikel. Etebo Nacho If Rohr can risk omeruo and Ndidi at right back definitely I don't see reason for him not to risk a natural right back Since Aina and Moses have played togther before ,then they should be a able to understand each other chemistry and Rohr has a special interest in Aina during the camp in UK. Kind having different thought about our DM... Ndidi and Onazi pivoting the two position then once in a while Ndidi can help in attacking... So far is not that discipline in green white green then onazi should sit back to shield the defense Mikel should do his normal attacking midfielding and concentrate on unlocking the defence of the Cameroonians V. Moses and Etebo should do the damage for us... I having been thinking should nacho lead the attack? Or Ighalo? Then I will go for nacho... Cos 1. His appearance and his goal ration on national assignment 2. Working with vmoses Mikel and Etebo which has work in our last two world cup qualifiers 3. He got a fighting spirit. On goalkeeping dept... According to some report Rohr said he does not know who will man the post... Am thinking Ezenwa cos atleast he has been in the set up of eagles for some time now... he has some experience during the liga tour in Spain and I think he didn't disappoint... Mr Akpeyi has a very 'good' record in conceeding in any National assignment... If he eventually man the post it will only take miracle for us not to conceed against the Cameroonians... Substition Don't think Mikel will be allow to play 90mins cos of fitness issue... Etebo will take his place then maybe musa will come in for him.. Nacho might be remove too... .then ighalo will take his place.. I'm wishing super Eagle of Nigeria maximum 3points come Friday... Like Safarigirl... Me too dream about us winning I wish we win come Friday... |
