Go and inspect once you like car. However do following 1, call the number posted before leaving home. Let the owner or the person incharge know you're coming. 2, inspect the body, check for dents or previous body work- this will help you during bargain. 3, check the engine to see that everything is intact, start and rev it and also check for smoke. However, gauge oil before starting. 4, check the tyres and drive around for atleast 10mins to see that the gear is shifting smoothly. 5, check the documents and ensure that the name of the seller is on the allocation paper, vehicle license, CMR, etc. However, if its from a third party, ensure that you speak with the onwer on phone and that he signs the change of onwership doc. Do all these and you're good to go. |
