Hi - how long does it take WES to update the online status of an applicant with the documents they've received from an institution? My university claim they have sent verification to WES, but my WES online portal still states "verification pending". It's been 12 days since the Uni responded. Can anyone help clarify this... Thanks! |

mzjennypher: I just searched for FUNDS TRANSFER NOC on this thread and I saw a previous post by 40manlappy... I hope this helps.. There is no single noc for bank workers; your job description will determine the appropriate noc to use. Since you are in funds transfer unit, you may consider 1114. It has job titles such as "interbanking arrangements officer" and "foreign interbanking arrangements officer". http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getAllExample&TVD=122372&CVD=122376&CPV=1114&CST=01012011&CLV=4&MLV=4&V=81354&VST=01012011 |

getgeorgio:Yes you are right. Didn't have an idea the poster was referring to the advanced diploma in particular. Of course it's a bachelor's equivalent. That's common knowledge. What I had in the mind, the initial diploma in accounting and business, could probably pass for a one-year certificate. But someone else will need to confirm that. |

jummolami:As mentioned by Tee248490, LASU is quite efficient processing transcripts. I applied for my wife’s transcript from LASU. WES updated her account exactly three weeks after the request. Considering it takes WES three business days to update account, it’s thus safe to say the transcript got to WES in 2 weeks and 2 days. Minus time in transit from that, means transcript left LASU at about the 2nd week. So, I guess your Husband’s transcript should be about leaving the school that's if it hasn't left. There’s however a catch. I didn’t know payment was required for verification. I just sat down waiting for LASU to do the needful but when I realized it was taking too long, I did a stop in school then got to know that the mail for verification had gotten to LASU 20 days before I went! On getting the verification mail from WES, LASU promptly sent a pay advice to WES stating she had to make a payment. I made 10k payment that day and in less than a week, her profile status changed to verification gotten. Like a week or so after we got the status update (I can’t really recollect the sequence of event), I received a letter from WES – It was a letter informing her that a payment is required for the verification. Apparently, the delay was caused as I had chosen regular delivery to my post office box. Maybe I would have gotten the letter much earlier had I chosen courier. Regardless of that delay, I knew for sure I will receive the ECA hard copy safe in box about a month from completion date. Choice of regular delivery was money well spent for me. Crux is you don't really need a followup on the transcript but you might need to stop in school to make a payment for the verification. I hope this helps. cc: billy 1 Like |

Ehrnie:Usually, it takes three business days to update once document is received. I'd however advice you return to your school and if possible, make them respond again to the verification in your presence. Alternatively, you can request the response be typed, and sent via courier. This I think is what some members did to cross your hurdle after much back and forth between WES and their alma mater. 12 days is way too long for your status not to have changed. |

Dammie2017: You can use the same one for PNP for EE. Date doesn't really matter once its from your employer and is legit. I used my 2015 references from my initial attempts at EE for my submitted application |

Oreoluwa08:Soft copy transcripts are typically not secure, so most institutions don't accept them. They prefer hard copy transcripts that are sealed and stamped. I don't think WES will be an exception. If your university is gonna send your soft copies by email, chances are WES won't accept them. I'm not sure though. I know WES has their own recommendation for soft copy deliveries, and it's through a secure online service called Gradintel. Is that what your university uses? |
