One season of loss of form by a dm, can be survived when there are good back ups. A season of disappointing show by your big-signing striker, can get your team into the gutters, especially with no excellent back up. The two are not the same.

As regards morata, i know he would become good over the years in chelsea, what i want is a striker that will hit the ground running, replace costa in the art of goal-scoring, this season, not the next.
