Alcatraz007:forget about muslim this and Christian this dichitomy in Nigeria intertribal alignment.Tinubu a muslim endorsed ambode going against fashola a muslim brother! Pastor tunde bakare was the VP to buhari Pastor yemi osinbajo,a staunch friend of yoruba muslim, tinubu,is a loyal VP to muslim buhari. The more you try to create this yoruba muslim and Christian dichotomy the more tou sound like Igbo Christians that dont even hesitate to yab pastor adebayo and osinbajo codedly looking for yoruba Christians leverage 4 Likes 1 Share |

I'm yoruba, but I'm strongly with markfemi on this..... The truth right now is.... If u genuinely love Nigeria and passionately desire her progress.... U will support what kanu is doing.... That guy has brought the very existence n sustainability of this nation to the fore.... He has shaken n exposed the dubious n faulty foundation this nation was built.... He has revealed the hypocrisy of our political elites that they are nothing but charlatans irrespective of tribe or political affiliate... He has proven that our political parties are just different side of the same coin.... Anambra election is around the corner yet none of the contestants or political parties are talking about the burning issues amongst anambra electorates.... The current agitation is voice for the common man, we should grab it passionately..... 41 Likes 1 Share |

Basic123: In as much as I hate the igbos looking for a loop hole to divide us, I still can't shrug off the passion to speak against what I see as a marriage between the violent Wahhabic political Islam which the north holds dear and a politically awakened Muslim population in yorubaland. I owe the Christian population the duty to speak up and sensitize them. I won't shirk my responsibility because I want to destroy igbo propaganda. It is well though as our Christian population have resources to resist any form of subjugation by anybody. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Markfemi2: You have no idea how much I admire your write up. The fact is that we all need to wake up in the South, and we need to that very urgently. If the Middle Belt like themselves, this is also their opportunity to make their stand known. There is one question that begs for answer. That question will explain why the South needs to rise: What ethnicity in the South is getting her fair share from the Nigerian structure? You just mentioned Ports Authority. Is there no credible Yoruba person to head that Port? If that water was a natural disaster like the erosion in Anambra state, Yoruba would be left to bear the burden alone. But because it is a blessing, a northerner must always head it. My question is, WHY? 22 Likes

Markfemi2: What sort of nonsense is this. How is kwara under bondage. Is the king of Ilorin brought from sokoto or what. Is he not an indigene of Ilorin. So Yoruba should declare war on Fulani because ilorin king title is called emir (something that happens only God knows when) 1 Like 1 Share |

Basic123: It is not the case of Buhari narrowly winning but HIS ANTECEDENTS! His RECORDS! Now, let me shock you. I am igbo but I supported Buhari at the beginning. Till date, I am still taunted on facebook for that support. At the end of it all, I found out they were right. How can a man repeat historical FAILURE TWICE? HOW? If that's not curse upon his destiny, which he has successfully rubbed on all of us, I wonder what it! Buhari is not learned, he is the emotional one and not the Igbos. He had all the opportunity to proof the Igbos wrong but like they say: " you can take a man out of a jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of a man. Conversely, when Osibanjo was handed over to on the first run, see how is galvanised and weave the entire country, making the South feel carried along..., the atmosphere in the South became calmer WITHIN a forking week of being handed over to. The North started fuming and foaming in the mouth. They hated the fact that South's pain is being relieved because they hope to see us cry and groan in pains. Quickly, they clipped Osibanjo's wing... when was the last time he performed as much as the first time he was handed over to? When? Buhari has successfully made me detest any NORTHERNER by virtue of his actions and inactions and if Nigeria is not disintegrated, I will NEVER give my vote to a NORTHERNER ever again till I die. Those people are curse to our collective development. They have been the most elected as president yet their region is the most poverty ravaged in the entire country. A people who can not take care of their region are same people who want to take care of Nigeria and you think that dream of a better tomorrow will ever come? Fela's song comes to my: We fear to fight for freedom, we fear to fight for justice. We no wan die, mama dey for house, papa dey for house... every day na d same thing, suffering and smiling. Everday na the same thing, suffering and smiling. Suffer suffer world'''Amen Enjoyment for heaven... Christian go dey sing all spirit too heavenu, muslim go dey yab allawu ark ba... Archbishop dey for london, Pope dey for rome, imam dey for mecca... Fork you all who do not want to kill the status quo.. 25 Likes 3 Shares |

Its not the narrow winning and you shortly after the election started crying all over nairaland that yorubas betrayed you for not voting GEJ!,the same loyalty you guys didnt shout and praise them for when yorubas both muslims and Christians voted for GEJ in 2011and you didn't see yoruba muslims as always subservant to north then and buhari never cried that yoruba muslim betrayed him. yIGBOs are EMOTIONAL,simple! 2 Likes 1 Share
