It does not have to be farming every where.

It is called 'Comparative cost advantage of production. Use what you have to get what you need'.
...u dnt seem to get wot he means...he means dt fulano herdsmen destroy farms anywhere aside the north

U try dat farming in Edo or Delta if FulaniHerdsmen would not unleash the Dragon on ur farm with fatalities and nothing would happen to them.. only the casualties followed by silence.

Herdsmen also operate in the North
Infact cattle rustling is prevalent over there

He said, “Farmers will be organised into cooperatives and the state has already ordered for 100 tractors and 100 thrashers to support farmers.”

This is a governor that is ready to support agriculture and farmers. But when a governor is shouting that he's supporting agriculture without bringing a single tractor to the state, that's idiocy.
Anytime my governor told farmers and others in the state to form cooperative societies, that meant he was ready to rake in millions of naira from the sales of forms (N1000 per head, N10,000 per group). Thereafter, nothing would be heard.

With time education will become a necessity and latter a priority.

Bros this kind of crass assertion is not good for the youths. Where do we get soya beans that grand cereals, taraku mills etc use from? Benue state is the largest producer of soya beans in Nigeria if not west Africa apart from being the food basket of the nation. It will take kebbi a century to catch up with Benue state. Am not belittling kebbi but only putting the records straight.

Kebbi State Seems to be the wisest State in Nigeria.

Wealth maximization, job creation and well-being of the citizenry are the offshoots of these initiatives.

From Lake rice, to raring goats for exporting to Saudi Arabia and now to Soya beans mass plantation.

The state is the right model for other states.

Well said.

Agriculture was the main stay of Nigeria's economy before crude oil came. Now we can hardly feed ourselves.

We don't need anything to do this.

Our current structure allows all states to generate income and spend it.

If it has to do with Mining, both FG and State government will be involved and proceeds shall be shared using existing structure.

Most of the people crying for restructuring are lazy people.

What structure makes Ogun to mine the limestone there, Kogi to mine the limestone there, Cross River to bring Chinese geologists to discover precious stones there? What structure makes Kebbi and Lagos to produce Lake rice?

The current structure may not be good enough but not the excuse of the indolence of our governors.

Note: This does not mean the current structure is perfect.

Have you travelled to the South South and seen where their roads are unmotorable ?

Likewise in the South East. Yet these two regions produce crude oil for the country. The governors of the SS and SE have been quiet for so long.

How does it sound right to you that FG decides to put rail lines to connect most parts of the north in addition to good roads while the generators of the money by resources are neglected ?

Which road is motorable in SS and SE ? None..

One step at a time.

Some people find it so easy to pick holes when someone is praised..

No one has it 100%.

Assuming today, you are as rich as Dangote and you don't have a university degree, wont you be happy ?

Or you mean education by paper certificate ? What is the essence of Education in the first place ?

Any Education that cannot place food on your table is a waste of resources...

The North is finally thinking ahead. No more "our oil" song for them. With the recent investments in agriculture in the North, especially in Kebbi, things are about to take a drastic turn for Nigeria.

South West has cocoa, human resources, commerce & industry, entertainment, etc.

South South has crude oil and other mineral resources.

Middle Belt has mineral resources.

North has agriculture and wildlife.

South East has palm oil and coal.

Nigeria will be great with this combo and even if everyone goes their separate ways, no one will suffer too much.

Your analysis is not perfect but lemme keep quiet..

And there is nothing to rejoice about in this economy because 90% of Nigerians are suffering as I speak.

I see your point but wat I mean is that the over dependence on Oil is making these govs lazy waiting for fed allocation but with restructuring, we will discover our talents more. May I correct your assertion that our crying for restructuring does not make us lazy as it were. The recession has made Nigerian govs to look inward which restructuring would have long done.
explain restructuring.
