I am aware of the terms and conditions of shopping on Ali, but some sellers takes advantage of that to buy time for their self knowing very well that they don't have those items in store, for that reason, I will never complain because I will end up dishing him some bad rating. I placed and order and the seller after tagging 10days shipping on it, he went ahead to delay shipping for another 10days without any explanation, and you say one should be happy about that?

Note: I am not a new buyer in Ali

How did the seller extend the time without your consent? Is that possible?
I thought the order will be cancelled once the processing time elapses unless you decide to extend it.

If it's outside of the stipulated estimate, you have a right to complain and down vote the seller in your review, afterall we also up vote sellers that ship fast.

But if it's still within the stipulated estimate, then Jusy exercise patience. No need to be disturbing the seller everyday.

Do you also think they do us any favours by blacklisting us? It works both ways.

He bought the time by fixing it on 'waiting for pickup' for another 10days and later cancelled the shipping and offered another tracking number bro. I pray you jam those sellers one day cheesy

No seller would go as far as blacklisting a whole country just because a customer probably a ''First time buyer which to me, can be found in every country of the world'' wants a good service delivery from him. the blacklisting thing, to the best of my knowledge works only for countries with dubious tendencies/character. thanks

I have experienced something like that before sha. The seller gave me a wrong tracking number. After I discovered it, I contacted him and he told me to open a dispute and request for my money that he is ready to refund.
I did that - opened dispute, asked for refund and I got the refund in 5days.
I guess the seller did not want to ship to Nigeria or the product was out of stock.

It could happen if it becomes a trend and majority of people from that country starts becoming a nuisance, just because they refuse to read the rules or decided to ignore it.

We felt it when xiaomi online store for a while stopped shipping to Nigeria for whatever reasons.

But really it doesn't cost us anything to be patient, and if a seller errs, we give negative feedback or ask for a refund.

I think a lot of Nigerians are wired to be sharp, always on the alert so no one can play a fast one on us, always trying to beat the system... I think that may be the reason for a lot of our impatience grin
