lululuv: Try steam inhalation for him(mentholatum or Eucalyptus oil) , apply mentholatum on his body(chest, back, sides, feet). You can eat food or fruits that contains enough vitamin so you can pass it through bm. Sorry is the weather, even my daughter is having catarrh too. |

lululuv: If you're scared of steam inhalation try massaging with warm water but steam inhalation will help to melt the catarrh since shea butter couldn't do it. Silverbird is Eucalyptus oil. Sorry dear, try to keep him warm. |

lululuv: Sorry ma'am. My ds is having d same thing but i increased my fruits intake so he can suck(vit c)from d bm. For the steaming, boil some water, pour into a small bucket or bowl, add like 2 drops of eucalyptus oil(silver bird),sit on a stool/edge of d bed,put your baby on your tighs(his back resting on u)&hold him firmly, then let someone help put a blanket over both of u say for about 1-2mins! |

lululuv:Sometimes once cough or catarrh kicks in you can do nothing but manage it until it runs it's course. I've been giving my baby vit C syrup daily cuz they said it helps fight infections and I don't wanna experience that cough and catarrh again. Apart from the steam thing also keep him warm esp at night. If he's the sweaty type, dress him lightly then keep the room as warm as possible. It helps their breathing. You can also put a few drops of eucalyptus oil on a towel and place it close to him, it clears nose like magic then you can suck it/use mucus extractor from time to time to give him temporary relief. 1 Like |

eksbabe:lmao is it by force to have issue. Just kidding. I meant to reply that post dunno what happened. There was a time I experienced the same thing. I couldn't understand why there were black stains on face towels and I even thought MIL has started putting pko in my baby's mouth again. But it turned out to be just breastmilk. Don't even know why it happens cuz it doesn't happen everytime. Maybe it depends on what one eats. I put some detergent with one cap of hypo in a bucket of water then I soak overnight, usually takes out the stain or most of it |

Giddyperson:Hypo is not working for me. And now i have to throw some clothes away cuz seeing dt stain annoys me. I'll just buy more coloured clothes going forward till i stop seeing d stains. You think what i take in may be responsible for the stain? |

Benignasweety: It is not neccesary. I never gave my dd pap when weaning her. I think she has taken pap a grand total of 3 times in her life, and never more than 3 - 5 spoons. She is 21months. |
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Giddyperson: 1:18pm On Aug 31, 2017 |
eksbabe:I really don't know. You said it might be something in your water but our own water is clean. The stains on mine look dark blue. Like gv. It drives me crazy and only happens once in a while. How long do you keep the clothes before washing tho. Do you wash as soon as they are dirty |

queenhecate: For me what I did is to stop taking the nifedipine because I was not understanding why I shld go through all that headache in the name of bringing my blood pressure down, my husband went into deep research and found out that I can take lebatelol and lisinopril (my bp was very very high)....so right now my bp has dropped from 162/113 to 132/96, 130/90... lebatelol was prescribed to me from the general hospital here so I only added lisinopril...plz stop taking the nifedipine.. |
