curllygee: "If you are not happy with your IELTS score, you can apply for an Enquiry on Results Service (EOR) through the IELTS Administrator at the British Council centre where you sat for your exam. The cost for Standard IELTS remark is NGN15,000 payable by Banker's draft addressed to British Council. You will also need to fill the EOR form at our office and submit your original Test Report Form" (Culled from British Council's website) https://www.britishcouncil.org.ng/exam/ielts/results 3 Likes 2 Shares |

elfmann:What I did was to tear a small piece of paper and wrote "WES Reference No.: *******", placed the paper at the top right corner of the certificate and scanned (used Adope on phone). I did three certificates this way - two for me and one for my wife. Length of the paper was fairly less than half length of A4, just long enough to contain what I wrote and width was small just about the size of the biggest character. There's a link on hellofax where you can sign in from your gmail account. So, I sent the three certificates from my gmail and the three certificates were accepted by WES. No cover page or letter added. I guess the reference numbers were enough to distinguish which profile regardless of who sent. 2 Likes |

Kontagious: In a more simple form, just use this naming convention to name the document after scanning to whatever format you are using ( PDF, JPEG....) more preferably PDF FirstName space LastName space DegreeName space WES-REF(Number). This should do. I did mine like that and it was acknowledged. regards 2 Likes |

[quote author=Temas post=60002088] Good day.. my situation is different. Wiffey is yet to get international passport. We have been married since 2016 ( no official change of name yet) I am concern on which name to use on her passport. Except for marriage certificates( ikoyi registry) all other documents carries her maiden name. Hi, your wife can use either name, it doesn't matter to cic. Just let her use whichever surname she is comfortable with on her int'l pp. 1 Like 1 Share |

In respect of the post in the pic below, I promised to get back. If you have a child or Children that is/are US citizen(s), kindly include US passport(s) when sending documents to AVO. I didn't include mine for my son and was later called to send it. So I incurred double cost . This applies if you used the US passport during the application. Cheers 3 Likes

40manlappy: U r correct @40manlappy. U dont even need to write any LOE. Everybody has a right to change their name at anytime (even before marriage). As regards ur marriage certificate from local government, I have read here some peeps have used it without any issue. Some have even used only church certificate. So i doubt dat will be an issue. 1 Like 1 Share |

Would it have been possible not include it to your application being that the child's birth certificate clearly shows that he was born in the US? folamingo: |

Temas: Its ok if her docs r in her maiden name. But if u still wana process a passport in your name... Go ahead, it is fine too. Just make sure the name change doesnt delay your entry into d pool or submission of E-APR. A name is only just a name. Alot of us here are still using maiden named documents. 3 Likes |

It's not IRCC that will do the conversion rate for our local banks. The N230 was once the prevailing rate when IRCC hosted that information. As at today, the bank will slam you from N287 to some figures above N300 (atleast GTB charges way above N300 to 1 CAD using your naira MasterCard). The prevailing rate is bank dependent.... perks: |
