Re: Kebbi Begins Massive Soya Beans Production by 400billionman: 11:23am On Aug 31, 2017 |
mikolo80: GDP is the sum total of ALL economic activities in a country within a given year. If you manufacture garri and sell it at a loss, it forms part of GDP yet the seller made a loss. If you open a shop and pay your landlord rent and made losses in your shop from January to December, it is part of GDP.. 180m Nigerians have to eat nah. So your statement is nonsense to the subject matter. Oil gives Nigeria a comparative cost advantage in export and accounts for 90% of all foreign exchange incomes for the country and 70% of total National income. So how does Agriculture being 40% of GDP diminish the fact that Nigeria shares FAAC and JAAC from money obtained from sale of crude oil which before 1950, the main source of foreign exchange incomes was agricultural exports ? Have I lectured you ? |

eflintsone: mikolo80: 400billionman: mikolo80: Seems u all, too need some education! What do u think happened to d groundnut pyramids? Why do u think, despite d fact we were exporting oil palm, cocoa, rubber n other cash crops, earlier in our history, we presently are far behind our former competitors? We refused to find better ways to get farming done. Recently, d agric minister complained abt low yield milk cows, minimal harvested rice/acre and all sorts of ways our farmers are being short-changed due to archaic farming practices! How do u improve productivity without exposure which only education can bring? A lot of those farmers are stark illiterates, whats d probability their kids would improve on their farming practices without some form of basic education? Carry ur myopic selves go forward abeg! |
Re: Kebbi Begins Massive Soya Beans Production by 400billionman: 11:44am On Aug 31, 2017 |
ashjay001: There is a reason why I said one step at a time. Kebbi state is leading the Agricultural revolution among all the states of the federation. Yet you found it game to ridicule them over education. I was watching the last World Economic Forum which took place in Durban and discovered that discussants from Africa centred their discuss on Education, Agriculture, Job creation, Good governance and Accountability. While their European counterparts centred their discussions on Robots in the work places, Human robot communication, Skills centred Education. etc. You see, nobody is talking of absence of jobs in Europe or bad political leadership. They are concerned about robots taking over jobs from humans. They didn't even mention hunger or agriculture like their African counterparts. So, getting our economy right starts from agriculture. If agricultural exports today can give Nigeria as much as export of crude oil gives, that means gross national income may double. At that point nobody will be complaining of lack of jobs. |

Re: Kebbi Begins Massive Soya Beans Production by mikolo80: 3:48pm On Aug 31, 2017 |
400billionman:yep you have,on how ignorant you are. Nigeria is worth 120 trillion oil gives us patapata 10 trillion agric is nothing less than 30 to 40 trillion which one looks like mainstay ordinary 10% tax of non oil goods will make oil look like a stipend and you're hear talking trash. anyway it's not your fault it's your economics and English comprehension teachers I blame |

mikolo80: U're incorrigible! As much as u have been trying to stick a label on me, I know what I am n what I was trying to say, inspite of ur twisting! Education has always been d bane of d north! Any progress they make, without a commensurate progress in education might be lost without an enlightened populace, enlightenment that education can bring. They've been successful in agriculture before, but lost it and their masses could never progress past that point, inspite of d oil wealth. Other regions lost their agric wealth but were able to progress inspite of it. The northern mass needs education! The whole of Nigeria believes d northerners are an academically inadequate race. Yet, with recent news articles, the kids of their elites have been very successful in their international educational pursuits, something that should be extended to their masses too! Even just on d local level! U're not me, and can never 50% predict my line of thought! As an objective observer on an online forum, u have to give d benefit of doubt! U present like so many of those wailers!? All noise, no content. U pick a line of thought n use it to form ur idea of d whole. |

ashjay001: what label what did I Twist we were applauding small achievemen you don't into bigot mode and when the fight start you will run safely abroad define education you won't explain how it has helped the south with respect to agric you can' they call you out you start throwing insult we replied you, you vex Shey you see you're the twister not me Any progress they make, without a commensurate progress in education might be lost without an enlightened populace, enlightenment that education can bring. says who what makes you think you're better than them if not for awolowo would you not be in same boat criticising without proferring solution (not just online noise o but actually putting your money where your mouth is null and void we all did no be you say you no need farm to chop na so educated large scale farmers prefer oyel to farm that's why the pyramids disappeared
the oil wealth no reach the masses o . Other regions lost their agric wealth but owere able to progress inspite of it. name the progress that they don't have in the north so the south is educated? yet the north doesn't look for job who d education epp yet they feed themselves and the rest of the country and you believe just decreeing it is the way forward OK o I can predict that you just like blaming northErn masses for all their problems caused by their leaders don't you blame your leaders for your problems stop looking down on them As an objective observer on an online forum, u have to give d benefit of doubt!give the benefit to who you're the one presenting like a wailer you don't like being called out on your BS I answered you with verifiable facts and figures you threw insult within the noise maker U pick a line of thought n use it to form ur idea of d whole.Ehn Ehn I will pick random lines we're talking agric you're talking education even the education you don't understand what it is. |

So fu*king full of ur self! Who is d bigot? U dont know me! U cant know me! I dont even need ur approval! If u dont believe my stance or u think its bs, then go hug a transformer?! Who ur unbelief epp?! U're one crazy focker!? I'm always amazed when I meet pple with ur crazy kind of mentality! Thats nigerian police mentality! Cos if u're not careful, d nigerian police will make u believe u're a criminal even when u have more than enough evidence to prove otherwise! I'm gonna call ur bluff! Do ur worst! THE NORTHERNERS ARE STILL NOT INVESTING IN EDUCATION AS MUCH AS THEY OUGHT TO! |
