Good morning everyone.

When I was younger,something strange used to happen to me whenever i'm semi-conscious.I would feel myself floating over my bed and at the same time know that i'm on the bed.Once i realize that i'm supposed to be on the bed,i feel myself slamming back into me(my body) with such a great force which leaves me panting and wide awake.It doesn't happen to me anymore but i'm wondering if anyone here has had the same experience.Thanks.

I agree with you. One may even be a deliverance minister and still be demonized. I think the problem of many Christians is the manner in which they mix up demonic possession (being owned) with Demonic affliction (demonization).

Usually those who never had any experience casting out demons conclude that Christians cannot be demonized.

Although, I don't believe that Jesus had to fast to be free from demons. No! Fasting don't chase out demons: authority does!

Not all human beings are demonized, some people are relatively free while others are heavily demonized. The degree of infection and scope varies very very widely

On the subject of Jesus Christ's fast I do agree with you sir. However I wish to note that I did not exclusively say that he fasted to be free from demons. I used the term "To be free from any such things"

Jesus Christ's fast I believe was actually encompassing. For empowerment, in filling of the Holy Spirit etc but without doubt....these such things I referred to were definitely addressed during Jesus's fast. That is... All legal grounds even through his lineage that the devil can hold on to.

The devil scripturally is a brutal accuser. An he waits for the time of your glorification (as it is written the end of a matter is better of than its beginning..Ecc 7 vs 8 ) and then searches deeply your files up to the 1000th generation seeking to find "one thing" to use to disqualify the individual.

Now if I may take you back briefly to Moses. That anger at his peak that denied him the promise land (the same anger that surfaced when he murdered an Egyptian?).... do you perhaps think it was a mere natural haphazard occurence? Or could it have deep underlying, carefully manipulated satanic fingerprints which would later give the devil a right to claim and fight with the Angel of God for his body after his demise?

These things may seem natural but the truth is behind every one of us here and our physical lives there are deep spiritual influences (hidden) occurring gradually and shaping us here or there or deciding us.

Clearly Moses had something the devil could...and eventually used. Anger...which came right down from his ancestor and was not properly addressed in his time.

Our saviour Jesus definitely knew this,

In His lineage Judah, David and Solomon were dealt with by grave sexual sin which specifically targeted the greatest ones (Most dangerous to satan's kingdom) but none of these was found in Jesus when the devil came to scan him.

Hence I have cause to believe that these things were addressed by Jesus during His fast because although He is God, he was born by dirty tainted human blood that stores both physical and spiritual information accessible (if not properly addressed by the blood of the Lamb) to satan's host. (e.g Saul killed the Gibeonites, many years after the covenant between them and the Israelites and the curse ressurected from many generations back and effected upon God's people. 2Sam 21 vs 1-9)

Furthermore His disciples, the apostles imbibed this fasting lifestyle knowing fully well that............ and this kind doth not go forth except in prayer and fasting Matt 17 vs 21.

This know that generally imbibing a prayerful fasted lifestyle removes all these things even without you mentioning them in prayers.


As regards the later, I do agree with you on the choice of words "demonization" as I do not believe a believer can be "owned by demons".

The saddest part of all this is that I still don't have a steady walk with God. The Lord has guided me, He has rescued, He has reveled things, yet I still find that I stumble way too often. It's always due to the neglect of prayer...get too busy, get distracted, and slowly one slips back into sin. Trying to be a Christian without constant prayer is as futile as trying to drive a car without fuel. Keep me in your prayers and I'll do same.

I am a sinner, and I'm just not saying this to be modest. I've stumbled and fumbled my way through life, and I'm not proud of it. Yet, I look back in time, and I see a life that has been full of great highs and great lows, and a God who has been constant, patient, gentle and oh so loving.

I told a story of how God saved me from the hands of kidnappers while I was a toddler. The truth is that even before I quite understood myself as a person, I always felt a strong connection to God. I always remember a prayer I prayed when I was barely a teenager, again not necessarily knowing anything about God at the time, but I felt like I had seen the world for what it is, and asked God that no matter what it took, He should do whatever it takes to make sure I spend eternity with Him. I've prayed thousands of prayers since then, but God always reminds me of this particular one.

Again, I've always felt a profound awareness of the existence of God even when I was not necessarily seeking to be close to God. Perhaps, this awareness also reflected on my character because Christians would always feel comfortable around me and speak to me with the assumption that I was on the same path, even without me acknowledging it. I still do not understand how I became roommates with the Christian Fellowship President in my last year in secondary school. This last year was always a very crucial year in my school...after 5 years of suffering and grueling military training, one finally gained an unexpected level of freedom and liberation in this final year. You could see people establishing their individuality and picking up habits that they would carry into the real world...drinking, smoking partying and many vices were quickly picked up. The dude that was always suggesting we should be roommates, which I was not particularly opposed to, ran with a clique of friends that were into some real deviant stuff I don't even wish to speak on. God knew this was a potential disaster for me, and somehow I ended up rooming with somebody I would frequently pray with and who was just an all around good influence in my life. I still don't understand why he wasn't roommates with his fellow "born-agains"at the time.

Fast-forward many years later, and I was in bad shape spiritually...still a struggle. I knew it, the Spirit of God often tugged at my conscience,
I wasn't quite sure how to snap out of it, and I wasn't willing enough to let go of the world. I was in a dark place, surrounded by the wrong type of 'friends' in a life that revolved around alcohol and partying. Oddly enough, I look back now and realize that I had talked about God to most of my party friends...we were all in the same mess, but something in me still knew that this was all wrong. One time I found myself at a party, having a grand time and all of a sudden I wasn't...God what am I doing here, was all I could think.

About the same time, my Dad called me and asked if everything was fine with my life. Some young ministers came to his office and simply informed him that I was going to be experiencing some serious problems, they delivered the message and vanished. I sat down in my car in a parking lot, Bible in hand, contemplating my fate. In my desperation, I decided to make a vow to God; rescue me from my troubles and I'll dedicate my life to you, I'll never sin again!!!. God knew it was out of desperation(heck, I wasn't done partying) and not true repentance, so right there and then, He made me open my Bible to Ecclesiastes 5:5(I had never seen this verse before)...letting me know I shouldn't make a vow I couldn't keep. Thankfully I didn't make a pledge I couldn't fulfill.

God was sending all these warnings...I was going to hit a very rough stretch, but it was going to lead me home(to God) eventually. It got rough. Everything I was involved in, from academic pursuits to my health all started to fall apart. My sister who had always been the most avid christian in my family was taking a serious battering from the devil. I went to see her in the hospital, and for the first time in years I cried like a baby...I couldn't believe how bad it had gotten. The enemy was roaring and so proud of his work that some likely possessed guy that was a patient in the same hospital as my sister, walked into her room, looked her in the eyes and asked her "so where are your angels now?"

I was in the proverbial dark tunnel, and it was either sink or swim. You know, I observed that some of my favorite preachers emerged from turbulent pasts to their true calling in life...like they were forged by adversity in the dark tunnel. It's not like God completely abandoned me, I could hear Him ask 'son, can you hear me now?' My parents brought my sister back to Nigeria, as the doctors in the US were confounded by her illness. Some pastor that came to pray for her walked into our house, looked at the family portrait, and points at me saying "this one is also a child of God". God led me away from the city where I was living, surrounded by all kinds of shady characters, to a completely different city. He had to isolate me. I found myself praying one night, and I bared it all before God, I wanted to get right with Him and I wanted to get my life back in order. The next day, I went to a mall and as I walked in I realized I forgot something in the car, so I turned around to go get it, when an old man sitting on the bench grabbed my hand. He said God gave him a message to give to the one that would walk by twice...he wondered what it meant because people were walking back and forth, but as I turned around right in front of him, he realized I was the one. He said God asked Him to inform me that He had heard all my prayers, but that I should also watch what I eat.

Wow! God cared about me enough to send a messenger directly to me! I was shocked, excited and a little scared...why should I watch what I eat? This little bit would make sense many years later. Slowly but surely, God was gradually steering me back to the right path. He took me into a season of prayer and fellowship that I so wish could be replicated again in my life. A long prayer for me was barely 15 minutes, but during this period I could praise God and pray for 3 hours. I was woken around the same time every night, filled with so much desire for prayer and worship, for weeks straight. I'm sure the neighbors didn't like this, but no one complained to me. My apartment was on the tenth floor, and I would always open the windows and look out as I praised his name...one night, His presence was so strong and as I looked out the window I saw the biggest and brightest shooting star I have ever seen, it seemed like it was going to make direct impact with me. Whatever it meant, it was amazing...I think I dropped to my knees. I actually thanked God for allowing all the adversities in my life(not that He caused it), because it enabled me to seek Him with more determination, and in seeking Him, I got to know Him better and experience His love on a deeper level.

During one of those days of intense prayer, I was heading down on the elevator from the 10th floor to the lobby. On the 5th floor, a pizza delivery guy joins me in the elevator, and as we head down he looks at me and goes "wow, do you know God has answered all your prayers this year?" I don't know if I was glowing from all the prayers , but I asked him how did he know I had been praying. He laughed, and for the next 2 hours we talked about God...even when I tried to remind him he had to get back to work, he said it could wait!!

Indeed, God has restored so much in my life. My sister has fully recovered, got married and had her first child last week!! God has done amazing things in my life, prayer is truly the key. But the enemy is still trying his best to steal and to destroy. Out of no where, I had a heart attack! This was about the same time in May when the Cameroonian football player had one too and died. I was visiting the Caribbean Islands when it hit me, the doctor that saw me there said no way...too young for that. But the tests confirmed it. Just when it seemed God had brought me through the storm, disaster loomed.

God was always in control, he reinforced my conviction that nothing would happen to me. I believe there was a spiritual battle waged in those crucial hours when my symptoms started. When I told my friend I was feeling some discomfort in my chest, he surprisingly started praying for me so vigorously in front of people...he never did that before. It was like he knew how serious it was before I knew. I saw another white guy I knew with his friends, told him the same thing and he told his friends to go, and immediately started praying for me in public. By the time it got bad and I was taken to the local hospital, the doctor was attending to me when some guy that came to visit his uncle in the hospital came along, interrupts the doctor and insists that he has to pray for me...he wasn't there praying for people either. The doctor gave way and he proceeded to pray for me. I knew God hadn't brought me through everything he did, and sent all these people to pray for me only to watch me die...so I was at ease more than one would imagine. My health insurance plan includes an emergency evacuation plan, so they were going to send an air ambulance to come get me...but the enemy wasn't done. All of a sudden they couldn't find my information in their system. Precious hours elapsed before they sorted it out and sent the jet to come take me to Miami, Florida.

On the ambulance from the airport to the hospital in Miami, as the sirens wailed and cars got out of the way, I started to wonder to myself how I got to this point of clinging on to life. It finally dawned on me; WATCH WHAT YOU EAT was the warning from God many years ago. I wasn't steadfast enough in prayer to seek clarification for that warning. I'm relatively young and in decent shape, but as it turned out, I have a genetic predisposition that doesn't allow my cells to take up as much cholesterol from the blood, people like me should avoid red meat and anything that contributes cholesterol which a normal person could eat. So, most of my coronary vessels were compromised and it nearly cost me my life despite a direct warning from God. Thanks to God, I've made a full recovery and there was negligible damage done to my heart.

your story is wow... just wow. I am really happy and grateful to God for your sister, and I also thank him for restoring back your good health. Kc, I pray God will continue to be with you and your family in Jesus name. I hope his mercies and grace will never leave you. I hope everything is stable with your health now? don't forget to always watch what you eat, please, God and I don't want to see you go through that kind of pain and hurt again okay?

Kc3000 , God loves you very much, and grace really speaks for you. that is the reason why even if you don't have a steady walk with him, he is always there and always ready to save you in times of trouble. God's love for you and grace on you is great. but romans6;1 says "are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?

it's not just prayer, sure praying is important, but God loves you and he wants you to have a relationship with him. and the Bible says that he that worship him, must worship in spirit and in truth.

its why Jesus died for us, he died for our sins to satisfy God's wrath and to reconcile us with him. there is nothing a loving father wants more than obedience and a relationship with his children.

God knows your faults he knows you are not consistent, ask for the grace to be consistent with him, call on him, for the bible says that whosoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved. and I know it's not easy but you need to let go or give less attention to things of little importance that draws you away from him. you always find time and give attention to what you love.

create a space for him, find time to get to know him, you can do this by meditating on the word and having faith in it. and also communicating with him through prayer. God is a great rewarder of those who diligently seek him. trust me, having a relationship with God is the best thing ever. it gives you this peace and calmness. and confidence in whatever situation you are, knowing that God will always rescue you.

being consistent with God not only takes willingness, it takes discipline, you know you are not steady so the discipline makes you consistent. be determined and tell God to give you the strength to have a stable walk with him.

I pray a lot for my loved ones, and you just topped the list, you're number 1 now. I will pray fervently for you.
God loves you okay? sinner or not he does.

See. I got an elder brother. Very rebellious, very stubborn. He keeps on disobeying my dad and running into trouble. Most times with the police, other times with various thugs. And each time... My dad always, always went out to save him, to bail him, pay for damages. One day, he committed a crime and OPC (Local vigilantes) said they were coming for him. I was still young then. I was scared. So I was like...why does my dad keep on having his back. Defending him, protecting him.
I told my dad to let them get him. Trust me, I was really frustrated. But my dad calmly looked at me and said, WE CANT DO THAT. we have to help him. We can't let them get him. Back then, I didn't get that. But now... I do.
You see.... We are like children. We all. Even the best of us, the most spiritual of us... We are still children. And our dad won't ever give up on us. Or on u. Yes you've fallen, so did Peter. He even betrayed Jesus despite the fact he was warned. David too wasn't better. He was a murder amongst many. Samson was worse. Jacob was a yahoo yahoo of his time. But you see, they never gave up on God. God too never gave up on them... Even though most of them Did.
He kept them. God kept them. He wouldn't let them go. He is keeping you too. He is still working on you. In you and around you. JUST DON'T GIVE UP. DON'T. GO BACK TO HIM NO MATTER HOW FAR. HE IS THE.... I DON'T CARE HOW FAR YOU'VE GONE, JUST COME BACK HOME, kind of dad.

Well...
I'll tell you what i know. Sleep talking can happen when a person is very tired or stressed out during the day. If there have been lots of activities or studying or plannings going on in a person's mind just before falling asleep, there is a high tendency that they may sleep talk(when disturbed) or even snore in their sleep. The words a person will say while sleep talking are usually gibberish, and they could be related to one of the activities the person had on-going that same day. It's not harmful. Not any that i have seen.



The other type of sleep talking i know can also happen when a person is traumatized or when having a nightmare or a deep dream, this one usually happens just few seconds before the person jumps out of the dream, with a force. It also happens to people who are very ill with malaria etc.

Sleep talking is actually a natural thing. And i have not seen it having a spiritual connection, except in the case of demonic scary dreams or heavy demonic torment.

Two years ago i had a revelation, God showed me a glimpse of what will happen in the time of the end. As i laid on my bed sleeping, i had a dream, a very deep dream. In this dream i saw myself standing alone in a place that looked like a desert. Suddenly i heard a calm voice whispering, there was no one but me alone. The voice became very audible, it was a quote from matthew 24:15-17, He said; when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" then let those who are in judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. At a glance, i saw places, people, the world was in great distress, it was as if a natural disaster had occur, the sun looked reddish, i saw how terrified everyone was. Everybody was running, what terrified me most is when i saw women abandon there children and running away in fear. I started to cry in the dream, and immediatly i woke up soaked with sweat on my body and tears on my eyes. Never have i ever had such a dream. What is the abomination that causes desolation? After a research i discovered that, this phrase refers to specific observable event that tells God's faithful followers who are alive during the great tribulation that christ's literal return to earth will happen very shortly. This visible sign or event refers primarily to the future desecration of the jewish temple in jerusalem by the antichrist. The antichrist will set up an image of himself in Gods temple, declaring himself to be "God". The abomination of desolation will trigger the great tribulation. The time span between this event and the end is given four times in the bible as three and a half years, or 1,260 days. See daniel 9:25-27; Rev 11:1-2; 12:6; 13:5-7. Joel.... out of the body experience or astral project ion that is not by the guidance or will of the holy spirit, is not something you want to experience. its occultic and you can wander into different realms you are not supposed to, see and hear what you are not supposed to, and it also leaves your body vulnerable to possession of some very bad spirits. and in some cases, people spirits never return to their body, its trapped in another dimension.

Joel please don't do it, I'm pleading with you. okay? I don't want anything hurtful to happen to you.

God has been talking to me more and more about this. This really troubles me. The year 2020 is going to be a very significant one. I will share God's message about this tribulation tomorrow. The Great Tribulation is near. Let He who is not in Christ find their place in Jesus Christ now. Jesus will come like a thief when no one least expects. Revelation 16:15


Some will still be planning for ten years or for their marriages, some will be planning to travel etc. People will be so busy with their many plans and appointments, and Jesus will just show up. BOOM! Just like that! It's good to have plans, but the ultimate plan is preparing for the coming of Jesus Christ. Let us be very careful. This world is not our home.
