Sir TheGoodJoe, Safarigirl.... Holy Chief and Arch Guardian Icon4s....... Hehehehehehehe....... it's been a long while My Lovely FAM.... I am sorry for my kinda long absence..... maidaboi... saw your mentions... Sir Joebie... Hahahahahahahahaha... Oga Soetanoreoluwa (will modify this name if I missed it ) is not me naa.... I even recall calming his nerves one time that this new generation will come good... Sir Icon4s was there... lol.... But Plssss... uhmmm.... is it a crime to say we are indeed Super? is it a crime to say I actually saw this coming....? I have been away and very busy but never away from the updates daily leading to today's show of masterclass from Simon Moses (my third best player today) behind Victor Moses (my best) and Mikel Obi (that pass to Ighalo was masterful. But I have to say this: Ndidi is a super star... he is going to be Officially world class within the next one to two years.... mark my words. Onazi was masterful in physical duels... he did give away a few passes but he was no coward or slouch today... he shows it is about heart and Grit and not about Size or height in midfield battles... onazi is a battle hardened Super Lieutenant. Loved his battles with Anguissa and Moukandjo. He shone in those battles. Special Big Mention to Ighalo.... Finally, our top striker is back!!!! Iheanacho have done his best in that role... but Ighalo brought that power and fighting dare with his style to the fore. Iheanacho remains at his best in a no.10 or no.8 role... he is a good no 9 but is far better as a no.8 (SS) and a no.10 (amf). Abeg... who saw Ighalo's Kung fu shift that led to Mikel's goal?? Abeg... Mikel's pass is still killing me but Ighalo's goal shows class and power.... In Truth... I Love Iheanacho but he got his own style as an improvised No.9... Iheanacho would not have scored that goal scored by Ighalo. #Fact Ighalo had to beat away the fiesty challenge of Cameroun's no.1 tough-as-nails defender, Ngadjui Ngadeu.... I mean what a performance from Odion Jude Ighalo!!!! Shaolin soccer and Kungfu is evolving Ighalo's game... wow! look at his awareness to move away from the ball in a dummy fashion to allow it have the chance of reaching Mikel.... Absolute Kungfu act! Lemme continue..... Special Mention and super shutout to the Back line.... Balogun made the most interceptions today with 8 solid interceptions and Ekong led in aerial duels won with about 4 or more... Outstanding. Abdullahi was solid and he brought back good bits of his Rio 2016 form. Echiejile was also solid... Moses and Echiejile rendered Bassogog useless.... after all the hypes and cries of Bassogog's pace and tricks... I did tell you all alongside the master of the art of Analysis on our teams, Chief Icon4s that Bassogog's end product is absolute Zero!!! Hahahahahahahahaha.... but it is good to talk up the strengths of our foes so that we don't get to overconfident... but I did tell y'all that The Camerounian defence is slow.... their reactions is slow.... they were no match for the pace and fast trickery and menacing movements of our Attack.... but it is not eureka yet my Good People. *winks* I will still talk more on our midfield combo of Onazi and Ndidi.... they showed today that they can indeed play together with a coordinating presence like Mikel with them.... they have the potentials to excel together even in Mikel's absence but they must dig deep steadfastly to establish that telepathy between them.... Onazi-Ndidi can indeed be our best in tandem with a coordinating and influential AM in front of them. On a sidenote, We must Begin the Apprenticeship of Mikel's replacement now because I am already looking Beyond Afcon 2019. Mikel is a world class midfield operator that comes with his own class acts.... his crown successor must be found and brought in soon enough for the future ahead. Simon Moses... will dedicate a post just to him. Big bad Class act. Onyekuru is not on his level yet.... Simon is the man for now People.. and he can only get better. Just earthquaking!!!!! Victor Moses.... will do same as in Simon's case... a whole post to him. Odion to be mentioned yet again. Thank God this burden have been lifted off Nacho's young shoulders. Iheanacho.... Hahahahahahahahaha.... I told my elder brother after our third goal went in that Bringing in Nacho now will result in a fourth.... then Ighalo had to he taken off as a precaution. We need him for the second leg in Yaounde... His knock is not so serious. Iheanacho came in and at a point he even slipped on the pitch... yes... But minutes later.... He began his own music... bringing his own style to the play.... combining again and again with Victor moses and linking up plays from deep beautifully the few times he fell deep... his skills and confidence on the ball oozed Class.... Nacho is nimble footed... but in a sexily smooth kinda way... and his Raumdeuter Movements for the fourth goal which saw him tap in with a sweet header? Absolutely super class..That was akin to Muller's attack of space as the original raumdeuter that Muller is. Nacho showed our strength in depth from the bench... I was just nodding in pride... you all needed to see me smile... What Sir Joseph1013 started as a little past time borne of passion has become a colossal Force opening up new views into what our Football can actually become with the right mentality and focus on our very best and then on Continuous Improvements as a team..... Sir Joseph1013... thanks so much for starting this. I appreciate you.... And I will never forget his words after that South Africa game... he said something like, "We lost becos we were without our pillars... when they all return you will sew the best of what this team is all about..." Victor moses, Leon Balogun, Odion Ighalo (Kungfu Odion), John Mikel Obi and Carl Ikeme make us tick... they bring out the best in our finest rising youngsters like Simon Moses, Iheanacho, Ndidi and more.... all that team against South Africa needed at its core was Leadership and a guiding presence to fall back on when lost in the wind and when it seems talents fail... we can see that Sir Joseph1013 was right. And ofcos.. I also shared same views. I am really sorry I could not enjoy the live acts with you guys.... but I saw the whole game... today I had a big day off so I could not miss this game... no BL**ping way... The rise of a new Super Golden Generation is still in session.... let's go there... Russia beckons... The Eagles loom large over Russia... Hahahahahahahahaha.... but hey... it is not eureka yet... But lemme quote someone I watched the game with... "4-0 against the African Champs who showed so much power and Grit and Will in the Confess Cup and played over 12 matches together and who conquered the rest of Africa just couple of months ago?? A team that showed Lionheart to beat Africa's nest in Senegal, Ghana and Egypt?..... I think it is fair to say that This match is the Afcon Final The Indomitable Lions never had at Afcon 2017..." -----------> Not my words... but the words of a friend.... Super Eagles just won 4-0... her biggest official win in a competitive fixture since that 4-1 bashing of Mali at Afcon 2013.... let's just keep it coming. And to all the pessimists.... we love you... I Love you so much. Thanks for being so negative to the point that Cameroun was made to look like Argentina... lol... The dream is back on.... it was never dead... it was just waiting for its time to regain its voice.... I repeat... The rise of Nigeria's Next Super Golden Generation is still in session.... I have seen it ..... Congrats y'all... it is a sweet weekend... Hopefully Monday brings more smiles... Godbless you all. Sir Blueto.... Welcome back My Sesquipedalianic buddy.... P.S: Yara Yara always gave me updates on how you guys were... I never forgot you all. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Lol.. just the highlights made you ask if he was on drugs today.... If you watched the entire game... your question will be if he is the Drugslord himself... Hahahahahahahahaha... Unreal stuff From Victor The Mo..... he was the man today... but he was not alone... even his other Moses on the other flank showed unreal Beauty today. Rohr really coached some lessons into Simon's head... that lad has unreal potentials... he didn't put a foot wrong today... Class act . Goke7: 2 Likes |

I knew Akpeyi's absence will bring us a clean sheet today. Sad he is injured but it was a blessing in disguise. He is an okay goalie with experience but experience is certainly not enough. The composure Ezenwa showed today was levels above what Akpeyi showed against Algeria and against South Africa and even against Senegal. Ezenwa's handling of crosses was very good today. Akpeyi flaps at most of such. So he will get well is our prayers but plsss... his absence did us good today. #Truth. I knew Ezenwa will keep a clean sheet and he did. He was tested just once by Anguissa but he showed composure, calm and maturity for someone making his WC qualifying bow. TheGoodJoe: |

This team will cause trouble in the WC.they look united, happy.am happy the coach is pushing the players high by adding more players ,who even the players too know are doing well.We need to see Ebuehi play,he's been committed. I don't think he has a friend in the squad, we need dutch flavour in our game too. 4 Likes |

Big Shout out to Safarigirl again.... Just saw her prediction pages back... She said 5-1... and that she dreamt it... 5-1 is equivalent to 4-0... spot on lady. And A special mention to my good witty comrade on this thread... that guy with excellent choice of words... very cerebral fellow... Sir BascoVanVeli.... he predicted 4-1 in Nigeria's favor. He came very close... I am sure there were monikers who scoffed at such predictions.... well ladies and gentleman... it only shows that BascoVanVeli and Safarigirl are among the few here who genuinely know and understand the super potentials, Trueest Capabilities and strength in-depth of the Present Super Eagles.... If they didn't know... they would not have been so bold in predictions. Kudos To Safarigirl and BascoVanveli... well done and thank you for your genuine belief in this team. 5 Likes |

One amazing thing about this team is that we ve got replacement for most positions, that's an entirely different national team on it own .. After this I will be so pissed at FIFA if we're still rated below the top 3 teams in Africa. Nigeria made Algeria and Cameroon look so ordinary. We just don't beat, we beat them well!! mbok FIFA be warned 4 Likes 1 Share |

Mikel Agu showed some flashes today but I wasn't much impressed. I still consider Kelechi Nwakali to be Mikel's long time replacement. The sooner he's brought into the team to start bonding & understudying Mikel the better. 2 Likes |

The match lived up to the hypes but only on one part... what The world expected to be a super African Classic turned into a whitewash.... a rendering naked of the African Champions. Our team is not there yet... (In Chief Icon4s' voice)... but we showed we are rising force to dread in African football... we are contributing also to the rise of the world's next soccer stars with youngsters like Iwobi (who was missing today because of injury), Iheanacho, Simon Moses, Wilfred the rock Ndidi..... Etc... But uhmmm... Victor moses is a strong lad now... he is no more that player with glassy legs... I expect the Camerounians to be sportsmanlike... Moses trumps their two best wingers any day so they should plsss stay off him. Afterall, we didn't hurt Bassogog after his masterclass display at Afcon 2017 and Fifa Confeds cup showed he will be a danger man today... we just did things professionally and we are all happy... So biko Cameroun... stay off My Moses... touch not my anointed. Goke7: 1 Like |

A magnificient performance,an efficient display,a sumptuous game and champagne football at its best at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium,Uyo,Akaw-Ibom,Nigeria.A game that will have fond memories in the soccer annals of history as it concerns Nigeria football. The African champions (The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon) came, saw but were surmounted, dominated, brutalised, conquered, bastardized, given the best of shaolin soccer,European soccer,African soccer and most especially the best of total football by their perennial rivals -The Super Eagles of Nigeria. In between this two teams they have eight African nations cup triumphs(Cameroon 5, Nigeria 3).Three of these triumphs have come against Nigeria (1984,1988 & 2000),while the other two have come against teams that has either knocked Nigeria out of the competition proper or in the qualifiers(Senegal in the semifinals in 2002 in Mali & Egypt during the qualifiers for Gabon 2017).Not a surprise that Cameroon has the edge over Nigeria in that department but when it comes to any other competition or friendly (world cup qualifiers or friendlies) its a different ball game.Cameroon has denied Nigeria a world cup qualification once which was enroute to Italia '90 but Nigeria has done it better and are nearly there in Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This game showed why Nigeria always beat the African champions in any competitive game.It also showed that the team chemistry that was missing two months ago against South Africa was brought into full force. It was a telephatic performance from the team and it shows that there is a great future ahead and it won't be long before this generation will become extremely strong than the first two generations or should I say the first five generations(Probably.......laughs).Nigeria's four nil massacre of the Cameroonians meant that two historical breakthroughs took place(unless there are more than two though). The first was that it was the first time that Cameroon had conceded four goals against Nigeria in any competitive game without giving any reply to them. The last game they played though was a friendly match in which Cameroon failed to give any reply to Nigeria's three goals(extremely pathetic). The second is that it has extended Nigeria's unbeaten run of this series to thirty-three matches(The last time Nigeria lost a world cup qualifier was in Luanda in 2004 when Angola defeated Nigeria by a lone goal). But it is not yet Uhuru in this year's series because Nigeria must finish the job in Yaoundé on Monday. This will be a psychological advantage considering what happened in Uyo but games in Yaoundé are always extremely difficult affairs especially with the fans roaring the team high even when they are down but inspite of this Nigeria has always held their own on their arena as well as Nigeria has beaten Cameroon in Yaoundé or any of their grounds at least twice. So my verdict is simple-a Nigeria win by the odd goal. 4 Likes |
