Its commendable what your prezzy did but that happened in kenya in 2003 when the ruling independence KANU party was defeated. Uhuru was their candidate (under the dictator Moi) and he surrendered and congratulated the winner even before the vote count was over. That was so unprecedented that most Kenyans couldnt believe it until the new president was sworn in. Its like removing Mugabe or Museveni and their Independence parties from power. So bruh, we always a step ahead on most of these matters.

Not just the Olympic gold, we have several titles in world youth tournaments, and are regarded as one of the best ever in youth football(male and female). Our Nigerian senior team is still the only African team till date to have ever been ranked 5th in the World and the only team to have ever gotten past the group stage of the world cup 3 times, 1994, 1998, 2014.

wishing super eagles all the best, qualification for Russia seems certain now. Don't take this as bad belle, but i really don't take all super eagles teams since the Kanu Okocha Finidi era seriously. Even the one that won the 2013 CAN. That was the golden era of nigerian football which these young fellas like Iwobi and Kelechi just cannot hack. I especially admired Finidi, chai! that was real midfielder.
Question : with all the undeniably fantastic youth talent in Nigeria at youth level, why hasn't this translated into continental, talk less of global, dominance?
