After all is said and done... he is and remains our first choice left back for now. What we should be doing is looking out for his replacements for the Long run with Russia 2018 in mind too. Already, we know if the need calls for it... Aina can step in. Same as Ebuehi. While we still look to get other quality options. AIG07: |

Nigerdeltaboi:*laughing* I just like the team spirit. Unlike in those days when our players will be segregating each other by class and be forming boss to the coaches. I hope Enyeama's recall won't unsettle the order of things. 4 Likes |

TheSuperNerd:I will commend you guys for such an impressive win against Algeria even with 10 men. And you almost defeated Cameron too on their home soil but no thanks to the late penalty that was awarded to the Cameroonians. You guys have done well, but guys were unlucky to find yourselves in the same group with Nigeria 3 Likes 1 Share |

AIG07: In all.my visits to Holland I have never ever met a player or coach that could not speak English. I am 99% convinced he can speak English but speaking pidgin and getting down with Naija swag is a different matter. For that level na the London boys rule. |

Well.... I don't think he is being isolated. I do see him in the campany of one or two players when following team news leading up to a game.... Ebuehi is Part of the family. Just yet to play a competitive game that's all... Besides he is still taking time to adjust... just give it time and understand that he may even be an introvert. AIG07: |

AIG07: Unfortunately the truth must be said he was a weak link. We need a natural left footed player with pace not a makeshift. Options Seyi Ojo |

Super Eagles Hold Recovery Session Ahead Of Sunday's Trip To Cameroon The Super Eagles continued their preparations for the return leg of their World Cup qualifier against African champions Cameroon on Saturday morning, allnigeriasoccer.com understands. Manager Gernot Rohr was aware that there were tough training sessions prior to Friday's game, so a recovery session was his main focus. Former Watford star Odion Ighalo, who suffered a minor hamstring injury that forced him out of Friday evening's game, was excused from the session in order not to aggravate his injury. Super Eagles players and officials will depart the Akwa Ibom State capital for Yaoundé via charter flight on Sunday, September 3 and return to Abuja at the early hours of Tuesday, September 5. Nigeria will qualify for the 2018 World Cup if they beat Cameroon on Monday, and Zambia fail to collect maximum points against Algeria on match day four. *Igho Kingsley Source: http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=24481 |

safarigirl:this was the same Uyo stadium that people described and regard as “cursed” and hapless venue for the Eagles, but it appears that the Lord answered my prayers and filled the stadium with His “success yielding presence” (citing from my prayers before the game). Icon4s: I understand your concerns. I myself would maintain that too many changes to the team would destabilize the structures the coach is trying to build. Bit playing against a team with nothing to lose (if we're being realistic, WC qualification for Cameroon is as good as gone) could be really dangerous. I'm concerned about our star players, I don't want anything to happen to Balogun, Mikel or iheanacho - these guys are not a 100% fit yet. |

With 9 points and +7 goal difference, what could possibly go wrong?? In as much as we want to be modest, we should be realistic as well. At least this takes away the misery of having to go through the tiring tasks of solving unending "conditioned probabilities" laced with "complex algebra" and some "permutations and combinations" like Cameroon should lose at home by at least 2 nil to Algeria, and draw away to Zambia. We on our part should win both Algeria and Zambia with 4 clean goals to ensure our qualification. |

Olanare say goodbye to Russia 2018. CSKA MOSCOW'S AARON SAMUEL OUT OF RETURN LEG Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Aaron Samuel will not be involved when Nigeria tackle Cameroon at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadou Ahidjo, Yaounde in the second leg of their World Cup qualifier. The CSKA Moscow striker was permitted by manager Gernot Rohr and his assistants to depart the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Saturday. Samuel, who was initially placed on the standby list for the World Cup qualifiers, received an urgent phone call to return to Europe. The former Guangzhou R&F and Sarpsborg 08 star was named on the substitutes bench against the Indomitable Lions yesterday but did not get game time. Ifeanyi Emmanuel --ANS |

NIGERIAN-BORN WINGER COMPLETES MOVE TO QPR (Photo Confirmation) Nigerian-Born Winger Completes Move To Queens Park Rangers EFL Championship club Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that they completed the signing of Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel before the close of the summer transfer window on August 31. The 19-year-old, who joins the London club on a three-year deal, last played for Blackpool, whom he helped secure promotion to the League One last season. Osayi-Samuel told Queens Park Rangers official website : ''I'm happy to get the deal done - and the hard work starts for me. I just want to show my worth to this team and repay the club for bringing me here. ''Of course this is a step-up for me, but I am confident in my own ability and believe I can improve as a player here.'' Osayi-Samuel links up with Nedum Onuoha and Republic of Ireland youth-teamer Olamide Shodipo at The Hoops. Igho Kingsley --ANS |
