Idi Ape- BASORUN - Akobo road currently getting dualized, Islamic high School and two other schools Are ongoing mass reconstructions, with 10 others set to commence. IDC Along Akobo beautifully reconstructed with the Help of Japanese Government

Construction of 110 kilometre Ibadan Circular Road. dualizing two major roads in Ibadan, that is, the Ibadan Interchange-Challenge-New Garage-Interchange Road and Onireke-Jericho-Eleiyele- Dugbe Road

Restoration Bridge (Awolowo/Bodija/Secretariat Bridge), Construction of Flyover Bridge at Mokola, Ibadan,

Expansion of Iwo Road also ongoing,Ijokodo to Apete and associated bridge works.

I hate Ajimobi, Yes I do, But The truth is This achievement are nothing compared to the money he gat , But He is no mate to his predecessors, He outperformed dem all.. Where are all the roads Alao Akala built Today, One Year Long Roads, They all spoilt. completely!!!

I am not even mentioning when he was paying 13 month salaries before he took advantage of the Bad economy then to Owe workers salary till date.

Where are the Thugs That disturbed Ibadan during Ladoja et Akala's Time?

Nobody is talking about the Modern Markets Ajimobi Built.
It will always be well with you.

Those people want him to do everything or are eleweomo-Tokyo boys or oyo state workers or lautech students

IN TERM OF PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE,Ajimobi did well.

I am so surprised a government can think of pipe borne water in Nigeria!

Anyone who says Ajimobi hasn't done "ANYTHING" in Ibadan is either an opposition politician or not an Ibadan person. Ajimobi has a lot to dislike him for, but road infrastructure is not one of them. Many of the roads he completed in his first term are still solid. The numerous ones he has recently embarked on are looking promising. He is also extending pipe born water to many communities. I saw water pipes being laid along Iyana-Offa and Apete. I live in Akobo and the single lane road from Idi-Ape to Basorun and Akobo is usually a nightmare because of traffic holdups. Thank God for Ajimobi, the expansion and dualization of that road has commenced. The people in Ologuneru too are eventually going to get relief as the road is also currently being expanded. Could he have done more, more quickly? Yes! Are we grateful for the ones he is doing now, however late they are in his administration? A resounding YES. From what you can call a "complete" Ibadan person.
Yeah,I live in Agbowo axis...I also observed the pipe born water pipe being laid in agbowo axis too.

AJIMOBI TRIED.....I SWEAR ..I wish he didn't Bleep up on lautech and salary issue

Your papa na lunatic, I still maintainy stands that he has done nothing. Firstly, Ajimobi ha spent 6years on the throne yet there's nothing to show for it. The person you quote talked about ongoing projects & not completed projects so you don't count ongoing projects as achievement. even the said bashorun idi ape dualization just started not up to 2 weeks & its not 5% completed how do you rate such project? The said gate to Iwo road is not dualization because the road is already dualized before Ajimobi came on board & what's going on there is called set back. Google to know the meaning of set back.

You & most people that post here to favour Ajimobi don't live here so you post baser on what you read & not what you witnessed. my post based on what I witnessed.

Okay
correct your english

You 'live' in oyo state not 'lived'

All your rants with @okutanla just goes to show how shallow you think not minding the fact that you bought a 5million naira land in akobo, who cares
ko kan aye

Most people like you still live in the past , you want govt to provide everything for you free without you paying for anything , that's not how modern societies are built. The bulk of oyo govt revenue goes into maintaining thousands of free public school yet you want development , where will the money come from.

Take it or leave it in the face of the dire financial position of the state , Ajimobi has shown he is a good manager of scarce resources without collecting any loan........ the man deserves recommendation.

If ogbere river is too small for you then asejire is big enough.
let me tell you the truth bro, it cost me nothing to pay my tax correctly when I know it will be used in the right ways & not embezzled. I have been into politics for some years & I know what I'm saying. Ajimobi performance in terms of education & general infrastructure is very poor bro. Go round our public schools to see what in saying. I would have post pix here but doing so means I'm saying too much evil about my hometown but I dislike to lie at the same time.
As regard the 5million land that you keep on talking about, I'm not trying to brag about it infact the price is higher than that presently & there are some places in Nigeria where land is sold for 50m per plot so don't get it twisted.
Tell me where you lives in Ibadan & I will ask you to upload pix of a public school around there. Lageli Grammar School Agugu is a very popular school in Ibadan where Ajimobi had his secondary school education but go there now to see that almost all the buildings there is in sorry states. Student can't take lessons under most of the classrooms there due to the fact that wind has blown away the roofs, many classrooms are without windows. do you realize that Ajimobi kids had their secondary school education in USA?

Ajimobi is actually head and shoulders above Ladoja and Akala. I was still in secondary school during their tenures especially Akala.
I still remember vividly how we used to have emergency assemblies in some afternoons. Our principal would tell us to avoid some routes because a fight just broke out between some NURTW factions. In fact, the national president of Nigerian Medical Students Association( a northerner) unfortunately had his life cut short at Iwo Road in one of those fracas during Akala's regime.
I'm sure Otitokoroleti would agree with me that Ibadan is safer now than the periods of Ladoja and Akala.

Sincerely, the foulmouthed, gap toothed Governor isn't the most loved man in Ibadan at the moment but the truth is sacrosanct.

Ajimobi is a terrible leader just like everyone else in this geographical expression called Nigeria. But since the inception of the 4th republic, taking Oyo state into perspective, sadly, Ajimobi has been the best so far. cry

PS : I was born and bred in IB city. I've lived there all my entire life too .

I have never in my life occupy any political post in my life so your words against my person is vague. you are just ranting here not knowing how this idiot named Ajimobi has looted Oyo state treasury dry. In the history of Oyo state, the present house of assembly is the wealthiest, Ajimobi just give bonus of 13million naira to each of HOA members with 7million car. As at today, non of HOA members have received nothing less than 100million naira bonus within the last 2years. If you have anybody closed to mbers of HOA & he's truthful, he will tell you what's happening. But do you realize that people of Oyo state bears the cross of this misconduct?
May the almighty God punish all present & past politicians who have looted our common wealth in the past.

I don't joke with my life & that's why I'm progressing. I just returned from a business trip & instead of me to be fighting moronic APC asslickers online tomorrow I will rather read business book to make my life better. I just bought a book titled SMALL BUSINESS BIG MONEY written by a young named akinola & I need to read it to improve my life the more. You sounds so bittered just for hearing 5m/plot land but do you realize that some of HOA members of Oyo state has properties worth hundreds of millions here while you are here defending them & you can't afford to eat 3square meal?

Continue eating from your mums pot & keep on fighting those that can buy you and your generation yet unborn. grin
