wishing super eagles all the best, qualification for Russia seems certain now. Don't take this as bad belle, but i really don't take all super eagles teams since the Kanu Okocha Finidi era seriously. Even the one that won the 2013 CAN. That was the golden era of nigerian football which these young fellas like Iwobi and Kelechi just cannot hack. I especially admired Finidi, chai! that was real midfielder.
Question : with all the undeniably fantastic youth talent in Nigeria at youth level, why hasn't this translated into continental, talk less of global, dominance?
Finidi George was something else hey! I was also a big fan of Taribo West growing up

cool

I ask this without hate:are you happy being in the same league with Nam'? Especially with your massive industrial head start and and world class engineering and manufacturing sectors? Htf is Mauritius GDP twice yours-its actually embarrassing?! On the world stage in meaningful indicators you can't compete with Euro minnows like Portugal or Romania!

Your glorified VILLAGES like Uyo, Enugu,Onitsha,Ibadan etc..are NOTHING but Villages. grin grin grin
So cities are measured by the number of sky crappers they have? speaks volumes of the much talked about standard of education in SA. I put it to you, Nigeria has the highest number of cities in Africa.

It's called chronic obsession.Have you noticed how they can't say anything without including 'Nigeria,Nigeria.Fake giant, fake giant'.It took me awhile before I saw through their pained chestbeating and saw the obsession. They sleep, dream, eat, drink Nigeria. That is obvious and funny.

Nairobi gets the highest growth in domestic air travel in Africa. Not by mistake! By design!!

Lagos doing everything to beat itself like a giant grin

We can attribute that to Buhari's long lasting lack of travel because he was chilling in London grin Or not?

Am here! Where else? I was shocked; I listened to the judgement AND NO JUDGE REFERRED TO STOLEN VOTES!! The problem isn't IEBC,Chebs or Chilobae but one dude who won't accept the will of the people. Even if the UN,the Queen or Putin handles the election he'll reject inevitable loss. Fyi,this time we'll win 60-40%,minimum-you read it here first!
Btw,a tribunal will deal with political judges soon enough. This episode is a reminder of 2 things:
-why detention was and is necessary
-opposition losers like Tsvangirai and the Ivorian guy are the ones who cause problems rejecting results!

That is your opinion. The rule of law is supreme and every Kenyan will tow the line. The law dictates a fresh and credible electoral process and the law is bigger than Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta. That said, am tired of all the politics.

there are many factors that contributed to the recession.
1. decline in price of oil, which is our major source of foreign exchange.
2. president Buhari's decision to stop importation of some selected goods that can be produced locally.
3. poor economic planning.
4. high inflation rate.
it goes on and on.....
we're getting out of it,though. the central bank had to inject about $1.5b into the economy.
the govt had to give d economy a thorough diversification.

if u're conversant with world's economy, u'll notice that recession is the order of the day in most oil producing countries.
Egypt is just getting out of recession too, I'm not really sure if S.A has gotten out of recession cos Egypt has overtaken S.A as Africa's 2nd largest economy.

I have to agree on most of stuff ya have listed. But also lets agree also that Nigerian economy to a greater degree is depended on oil.Actually i have noted that majority of Countries in Africa with bigger GDP got a lot of boost from oil or minerals apart from Kenya an Ethiopia.
Last part was a shocker...Egypt overtaking S.A ..what is happening down there..why is S.A sick coz it got all the minerals an intellectuals both white, brown an black ?? grin
