If these boys lose any game, I better see everyone posting solidarity messages just as these judgemental ones have been flying about today.

It's ANS etc job to report. It's ours to react. But like I've always maintained I don't do this because I think they come here to read our comments. I'm sure they don't. So why should I take all these seriously. If they do not win on Monday I will be tempted to atribute the loss to this behavior. If they win, I will go get my girls and celebrate as well hahaha

ANS is a trash journalism page.

In fact, those boys never partied. People that post everything on social media partied and I did not see one post on the party from IG to Snapchat?

ANS is lying abeg angry

millions of Nigerians will not die if they lose.

If it is partying for four hours that will make them lose, so be it..

It is their loss, just like it is my paper to fail. Abi, you think I don't have people depending on me to pass exams?

It is similar logic, you just won't see it as disciplinarian wey you be.

It is your beliefs that makes you hold this idea that what they did was wrong, so pray tell, how can I not 'attack' your person? Did I not use myself as an example? Is that not bringing in my personality as an example?.

Life is not that serious, they cannot comman die because they have game. Is it your game?

Life is that serious. Make no mistake about that. They were wrong. No matter how hard you try to garnish their actions, they were wrong. It disrupted their preparation.

Do not disturb yourself with lie or not. Even Rohr has reduced the amount of time they stay in Uyo. You need to hear news. Most disheartening was the partying before our 2-2 draw to SA which stopped us from qualifying for the AFCON.

As soon as we win some games, like the two before the South African game, groove has started.

That is why I am not buying the not reoccurring story. We need to clamp down on this.

You and safarigirl Na d same mama born una.. Even siblings different o.. Nobody has preached sainthood or "monkhood" since this discussion started.. Nobody has said they don't carry girls etc or they wont have done what they did. We are all concerned fans... that's all..

We are not new to camp rules (when set) even as non professionals. Our reaction is in no way judgmental or an attempt to condemn.. The point has been made and it is crystal clear..

TheSuperNerd:

And as professional footballers, don't you think they should know about this more than any of us who are nonprofessional footballers??

And again... Let them learn. They have made the mistake but I am damn sure they know what is at sake more than any of us.

This was the same way most people here were screaming about how we were revealing a little of our training sessions via OGN and claiming that the Camerounians were seriously preparing and all that and doing so in secret... yet they came down here "4-Nothing"

Abeg... let us have perspective and focus on the needful. Let us not overflog this. What is wrong is wrong but also The Happiness and Flow of a team is far more important than forming 100% saint... Even Jesus didn't condone nonsense yet he used wisdom to reach out and correct mistakes made by even his own disciples. Overflogging this won't work.

Do you need to repeat a mistake severally before learning from it? so we should agree that because they know “what is at stake,” then any reprehensible behavior from them will be welcomed?

I believe your message on “focusing on the needful” should be directed to the players, not me. How needful was the “party” in winning the next game?

My message is about Using Wisdom to keep a team together when the deed is not done... and so close to the finish line. you think it is easy to handle a bunch of grown adolescents and young adults? cheesy Do you realise what it will take for Mikel and Balogun to maintain team flow and happiness?

Mikel is faliible... yeah... no one says he is not... so also are you. So also are we all isn't it? wink So EOD on fallibility.

And my analogy works perfectly because I was not talking of the Victory itself but the mangnitude and manner of the victory.... Israel fought more wars even after that Victory. So you see that you missed my point.

The Boys scored a great victory over an eternal rival... in a manner that our past footballers could only dream of. This is what I am talking about. Some of them are bound to lose their heads and get over the moon and partyyyyyyy.... u garrit now? Good... so it takes wisdom to not be quick to just stamp your foot and spoil "Their fun" but to let some things slide because of euphoria and later communicate to them the need to always remain grounded no matter the victory. Tell them though they were allowed to party but in truth, they should not have because To achieve the highest in their field, they must be disciplined and not lose steam until the task is truly done no matter the magnitude of the little victories along the way....

...That way... you have done two things... earned more respect and love from the players and also made them understand that they should know better and that next time.. such should not happen.

But when you are always quick to charge in and correct as the Hitler of discipline without being sensitive to the "Moments".... you will only complicate matters and give the team a bad view of your style of leadership even if you mean well....

Handling young adults and grown men takes Wisdom even when leading them by the hands of Discipline.

Joebie:
Hitler of descipline lol... Oga u just dey talk like say u dey camp with Mikel etc.. Even Mikel is fallible. Let's not make him a god now.. Let's not lie to ourselves, that win sweet all of us well well.. So some of us are throwing away logic because we are still basking in that euphoria. Ok now wake up to reality. like I've been saying we have not qualified yet. So that your analogy don't come in. When the battle is won U can quote that scripture..this is far from disciplinarian matter.. This is teaching focus until the deed is done. Lessons they will have to learn as professionals..

it disrupted nothing

As at 8am Saturday morning, Victor Moses was at the gym and Ola Aina was videoing him, they were done with their exercises. Ndidi went swimming same morning, they watched the Zambian game that afternoon. Nobody had baggy eyes and I certainly saw nobody who looked or sounded even slightly hung over

Feel free to follow them on Social Media to know what is going on in camp, I will take that over the words of proven liars.

ANS that everyone on his thread know to be liars are who you are taking seriously.

Even if they partied, I endorse it. It is not wrong to me, life is not that serious. People will still die, so why take life serious?

You better keep yourself up to date with those boys and follow them on SM rather than believing trash from sensational journalists

How needful is over flogging this issue now.... I have told you.... Those ANS reports look super exaggerated to me.... It is just trying to paint the team's focus in badlight and earn clicks for their sites.... really silly if you ask me.

And again... get the message... these boys are new or have you heard of them partying before? I mean these same young players.... so where did you get your "repeating severally" from?

Abeg... leave this matter. Discipline and Wisdom should go hand in hand. Even Jesus agrees on this. Chikena.

Sir this matter is about timing and not whether you are Christian or not.. Or whether you carry girls or not..As for me the battle is still on. And we should act like it.. It's one battle in two parts. The second is even more crucial.. You don't celebrate victory like that when your enemy is getting ready "to fight another day"

If I were the coach I woul have set certain limits especially during this time period. That's in no way going to hinder demonstrating good player management

Truly, there is a need to restructure the minds of Nigerians. When issues relating to value systems are criticised, it is not only because of the linear effect arising from that dysfunction but also as a result of the multiplier effects on relating events.

The concept of responsibility, duty, obligation, long term discipline seem so alien to Nigeria. It's always about living in the moment...little thought is spared for the domino effect of our current actions.

From my view as Christian and especially as one who believes on grace and the gift of righteousness as seen in Romans 5:17, I want to say that we all have sinned, and that is why in the new covenant, God has given us the gift of righteousness, because we can't earn by ourselves. Even the likes of David, Moses, Solomon and others in the old covenant that emphasised so much on obeying God and keeping the law still found themselves in doing what displeased God. So God decided that through Christ's death on the cross, he has fulfilled the law and obeyed God on our behalf since we couldn't perfectly keep the law, and made the gift of righteousness available for everyone to receive in Christ. So God do no longer assess or judge us base on our obedience or self-righteousness or self-regulation in the new covenant but with the obedience and righteousness of Christ, so we are at right standing with God even when we make mistakes, as long as we believe and confess the gift of righteousness through His son.

So in the same token, I will refrain from condemning them because because we all have been guilty in one way or the other. He that is without sin, should cast the first stone. This is were the grace of is made perfect. It is defined as an unmerited, undeserved and unearned favor from God.

And asking if I am Mikel is funny buy also shows you have always wanted to ask me that.... Look... I remember your views on Mikel as a player. So thinking I may be Mikel is not only funny buy also absurd...

Mikel who spoke about the need to win all remaining games and stay this team the same way he did at Rio 2016. This is the Mikel who will be so easily distracted all of a sudden? Abeg... Sir Joebie... don't go there abeg.

And yes... I don't buy ANS' exaggerated reports. Why post such news if not to get clicks on their sites and also distort the true picture of the team's focus...

Like I said... even if it happened... Let Wisdom rule alongside Discipline and making sure it does not repeat itself. These players are the future and it is what they learn now that they will apply with the next generation when Mikel is long gone from the team.

Now to Yaounde... don't want to speak anymore on this matter.

Ezenwa

Aina...Ekong...Balogun...Elderson

Ndidi...Onazi...Mikel

However, in case their indiscipline was in excess...I expect the following line-up

Ezenwa (Alampasu dey like who go like party)

Shehu(good boy)...Leon...Ebuehi...Elders on
