You can't compare Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. *Saudi is the number one oil producing country in the world. Nigeria is at number 13 position. *Saudi produces 11 million barrels of oil a day. Nigeria produces 1.9 million barrels a day (it drops lower when militants are blowing up pipelines). *Saudi Arabia has a population of 32 million. Nigeria has a population of 180 million. Do the math. This sounds like the dumbest thing I have heard this year....and on top of it you make reference to math; How insulting..... |

ivolt:You sound so intelligent. But you seem to forget that countries like Nigeria with more churches per square meters than banking halls have not fallen their government one day. How about really Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and Co? Communism has not been fair to China in any way possible in this modern age. Isn't it same China that bans Google, and the YouTube, is Twitter and the likes? Why restrict their people from absolute freedom? It's really a sign of rulership of weakness |
Lol. This is a classical move to control the minds of the future. By prohibiting children from going to church you have taken away the choice.. simply put china has turned the Chinese to prisoners in their own country.. China is heading for doom.
And your country with all the religions nko what have they achieved.. the problem is from childhood that's when the mind of the children are poisoned. At least when they become of age, they can make a choice |
Re: China Bans Children From Attending Churches by ivolt: 4:18pm On Sep 03, 2017 |
matrixme: Countries like Nigeria have a dysfunctional government who can't get basic security right. Humans are content with their lives as long as their basic needs are met, a fact which the the communist party and its western adversaries understands. "Freedom" and ability to like a picture on facebook is meaningless to an hungry man or a boy living in Somalia. if the Chinese growth trajectory continues, I won't be surprised if some citizens in western countries will start calling for the adoption of Chinese style government where government controls everything and "evil" capitalists are destroyed, the foundation is being laid with the rise of anti-capitalist elements in the west as shown by the recent hamburg protests, though the protesters don't know this but they are asking for it nevertheless. It is not for you to judge whether a government has been fair to its people, China has lifted millions of its citizens out of poverty, the same cannot be said of the various "free" 3rd world countries who can use twitter and facebook. People are not interested in a superior form of government, they are interested in a government that works. 1 Like |

ivolt:The grass is always greener in another man's country. The same Chinese people we see on the streets of Lagos almost doing menial jobs to keep body and soul together? Ask the average Chinese man weather he or she is really happy with their government and has been truly lifted from poverty and you will know the truth. That's if they are allowed to really voice out their opinion. If communism really works like you claim, why isn't the rest of the world flocking there like as they head west? |

matrixme: The question you should ask yourself is whether you should be concerned about the Chinese instead of yourself. There are thousand of homeless people in the USA, but that doesn't mean that the USA is an impoverished country. All you need to do is compare Chinese cities with your country's cities or if you are interested in numbers, check the US indices on development. 1 Like |

I was attacked by saying thesame thing to a group of friends yesterday. I wonder when Africa will finally get it right. Do I need to say I was condemned by these so called friends? I was even labeled a devil.... Lol, but I care not. I am just after the betterment of my dear country home and I am sure we will get there (either this generation or the next to come) It is a crime to humanity for you to introduce a young innocent soul to your doctrine which you were introduced to by your parents Let them grow and decide for themselves whichever way they wish to follow! 2 Likes |

Re: China Bans Children From Attending Churches by menxer: 5:43pm On Sep 03, 2017 |
I guess that is to avoid indoctrinations and division along religious lines which is common in countries where Islam and Christianity hold sway, Nigeria is a case study. The Child can later decide which religion to follow when old enough to make decisions for itself. |
Re: China Bans Children From Attending Churches by menxer: 5:58pm On Sep 03, 2017 |
matrixme:Laughs. So you think because you use Facebook and Google you are enjoying absolute freedom? If you Check, China have equivalents of whatever you can mention, they are not like us who take pride in using other people's creation without being able to create for ourselves. |

mccoy47: Bro, Christianity teaches you to be morally upright. Even when you misbehave as a Christian, you know deep down that you're treading on the wrong path. Whoever genuinely and faithfully follows the Bible lives a morally upright life. For the so called Christians who are immoral, they would have been worse if they weren't Christians. Yes, there are atheists who are morally upright. I'm not saying morality is what takes people to heaven. I was only giving you my own personal experience. There are many more like me who avoid some nasty things simply because they love God. |
