Please anyone that has information on what it will cost to send documents to Germany should please let me know.

If possible, a list of the available courier services, their location, cost, and the estimated time of delivery.

Thanks.

Please, do u hv an idea of the cost of using the different courier services?

Please, kindly give us the charges involved, so we can decide on which to go for.

Thanks.

The last time I used TNT it cost me 7,000. But a friend who recently used it said it's now 12,000. I stand to be corrected tho. And DHL

cost about 18k. Both TNT & DHL will deliver ur letter withing 3 working days.

But Nipost will not cost you more than 2k. But please only use Nipost if you are in Lagos. Precisely MM2 NAHCO Office it will take them at most

2 weeks while other branches could take a month.

@Lalaski001, note that these amounts neccki just stated for TNT & DHL is per package (standard 0.5kg documents), that means sending many documents at once would cost you more. if you are sending to different schools, multiply that by the number of different schools.

Another option would be to place them all in one package and send to someone in germany if you have, who can assist in separating and sending them to the respective schools to save cost. they would weigh the package at TNT/DHL to know the weight, and then give you the stipulated cost, which would be higher than this 0.5kg amount, but at least better than sending each school package separately.

while the 2k mentioned for Nipost would cover all, even if you are sending to each school one at a time. you might not even spend up to that. a standard 0.5kg At the nipost in CMS is about either 350 or 450 naira (i used it beginning of last month, unregistered mail precisely cause i heard it's faster than registered. and it took like about 2 weeks and 2 days to deliver. A friend who recommended it used it few months before me and took similar time also. grin

Meanwhile another friend used the one at MMA recently for 200 naira for unregistered, which was cheaper.

So weigh your options, and remember Nipost is only when you have a lot of time to application deadline, and backed up with prayers also that it doesn't get lost cuz you arent filling any information with the nipost officials, or given anything to show you actually sent a document. shocked shocked

You welcome.

Once you've done your research about the Schools that offers the courses you interested in. Please post them here then we can take it from here.

We will tell you which one fits your hustling plan.

BUT potentially you can look for schools around Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Munich & Bonn.

Hmm.. 1500euros per semester which is 6000euros for a master's program with four years duration. Well, it takes a determined mind to pull through.
I didn't even include the semester tickets and accommodation grin
Make person no grow grey hair overnight because of hustling o.

Halo everyone, i have been following the thread but couldn't make it to winter cos I joined late July. Please am ready with documents to apply for summer admission.. As most schools opened their portal yesterday. Please I need clarification and advice on the following

What is the best way to send documents across to Germany? (Fast and efficient) I will be sending to Five schools at once...

Secondly, I see payment to uni-assit is quite stressful.. (TUM is the only school that require use of uni-assist in my choice of schools)...any suggestion on how to pay them faster?

Finnaly, pls can someone hint me on these cities...
Kaiserslautern, Bonn and Saarbruken..in terms of hutsle and student jobs...the schools from there have been communicating with me via email...even though my first choice is TUM....I sha want to keep an open mind.

Tank u all so much

Hello, I am looking at applying for Summer semester too. TUM is also one of the schools I will be applying to. You said most schools have opened their admission portal, can you please mention some of these schools? The information I have is that most summer admission will be starting in either Oct, Nov, Dec, or Jan.

Also, is the course you r applying to in TUM tuition free
Thanks.

Good Morning Everyone,
I have been a follower of this forum since Jan 2017. Hardly posted any comment though as I have found responses to other posts very helpful. This my case is a little peculiar, hence this humble plea for your advice.

I received my admission letter on the 12th of July, 2017 for - MSc. Business Intelligence and Process Management - Winter Semester • Berlin School of Economics and Law. Ever since then I have been on the Visa Issue. I have accepted and secured my admission (German Health Insurance inclusive), this, however, is just valid for the 2017/2018 admission calendar.

1. In the light of the Visa appointment being booked out, the institution has sent direct correspondences to the consulate pleading for a consideration; this however without a reply - Would it be okay to visit the Consulate to call their attention to the correspondences?
2. Prior to my Visa application, I opened a Fintiba account (not funded yet though) as I have a fully sponsored study leave from the company I work with - Would the consulate consider that as a scholarship and not request for the 8K++ Euros deposit?

Please guys, kindly advice. The institution is really willing to assist with my application

If you are very sure of the funding or sponsorship letter and not relying on the scholarship document from that company, pm me. Shalom

thanks for your reply bro. Well I have PM you so that we can't talk privately on how to sort out the submission of my documents to the school. I guess the summer application form will come out probably next month. Once again thanks for your reply.
I think if that ur Hamburg sch meant they can keep ur admission till summer 2018, if only u pay semester contributions.. U shld go for it and have a rest from admission applications and focus on blocked account money and the rest miscellany.

Hit the embassy early enough next time for an interview appointment date.

thanks for your concern bro. I really plea to the school to defer my admission to summer semester, but they said isn't part of their policy. Well I have make some enquiries about the summer semester in the school too. The summer semester application for the school will commence from december 1 till jan. 15 of next year. But bro as it stand, I just have to apply to any school that's offering my course. I heard hamburg city is part of the city that people hustle too. Thanks for following bro.
