yimiton: CRS will drop if he adds spouse before AOR. It's only after AOR dat u can add a spouse without it affecting ur CRS points. NB: d date on d marriage certificate must show dat u actually got married after AOR oooo. 1 Like |

joyfulsombori:This is a very tricky one. Though you might have been self-employed during this period, you can't claim points for it since you didn't have a company as at then. To IRCC, this is just your personal history, not employment history. Given the info you've shared, I don't think you can claim points with this. However, you might have an out. Why don't you speak to these three consultants and suggest that one of them consider you an employee during a good part of that 37-month period, during which you worked with them. Of the three, one of them should at least be able to offer you something as a means of assistance. She could offer you a back-dated job letter and then a reference letter which you can present to CIC. Of course, you also have to let her know your plans so that if they tried to contact her, she'll confirm your "employment". Besides this, I don't think you have a lot of options. Of course, make sure you identify the proper NOC before requesting a letter from any of the consultants. 1 Like |

Tee248490:Not advisable. You could probably do it, but should you get ITA you can't use the score. Requesting a remark on your IELTS means your scores are frozen and cannot be used for immigration or study purposes. |

cochtrane:thanks for your response, i think i wasnt clear enough, of the 37 months, i did freelance for 8 months as i have since moved on to get fully documented contracts. the 3 consultants employed me for one project spanning over the 8 months period and paid me accordinggly from their personal accounts |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by cochtrane(m): 10:29pm On Sep 03, 2017 |
joyfulsombori:Okay. So do they have registered companies? Can they "employ" you for those 8 months? Perhaps at different times within those 8 months? And then provide you with some employment reference as an "employee", not as a freelancer. |

That's in canadian dollars. In USD, it's about $1,900USD for a family of 4. That's 2 adults and 2 kids, so I believe you can use the Naira card, but like you said, if it doesn't work, there are other options. MRSDA: |

His initial post said 443 is after he adds spouse without ECA and IELTS. Without spouse, he has a much higher point. I see no reason y he can't add his spouse right away perks: |

cochtrane:okay, will explore this option, although only one of them has a registered company. i would have loved to wait at my current employment to accumulate this outstanding 8 months afresh, but i could have PPR by then,if i go in now |

Hello guys, Please kindly Clarify. My spouse worked on a full time job with an international conglomerate between Feb 9 2015 and May 31 2017 (2years 3months) 45 hours a week (ALL STATED ON HER WORK EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE) against the 30 hours a week recognized by IRCC. 30hr X 52 weeks/yr = 1560hours/yr 45hr X 52 weeks/yr = 2340hours/yr 2years 3months = 5720hours 5720hours/ 1560hours= 3.67years Relative to 1560hours by IRCC,Will this count as 3 years? |

JeRit: It's like IELTS too. You need to practice for it as well before you take it. It costs100k to register. The registration is done at Alliance Française Yaba, Lagos.. 1 Like |

TEF is organized by Alliance Francaise in Nigeria. Check their website for exam schedule. I wrote mine in Lagos. It is usually once a month depending on number of applicants. cochtrane: |

Yureyes: Start within your ECA first, it takes time. Then write the ielts and you can create the EE profile after this. 2 Likes |

Definitely, some points will be dropped in the PA's age, level of education & official lang with spouse inclusive but can be redeemed or even increased with spouse having an excellent ielts score and evaluation of degree, preferably Masters or PhD for max points. Tee248490: |

Pls must I verify my Bsc result cause I have a master's and intend verifying only that to reduce money as time constraint because my master's is in the UK and will be quite faster to evaluate. Just want to know if it will affect my score. Secondly the CRS is that the actual score you get when you enter the pool or just an estimate cause I near people saying that the more experience the higher the score and the NOC also increase score as well . But on the CRS it's just shows 3 or more years having same score from NOC A,B,O Please does that are already in the pool clarify me on this things Thanks |
