But they tell government to grant them Biafra so that they will go and have a government that take care of the returnees.
Yoruba and Hausa-fulanis are cowards here, they dont believe in theirself rather they are after war,if you think you can do without Igbos why not grant them Biafra and envict them to their new country.

This is where your intelligent has snowball into, calling a sovereign nation a zoo. A zoo that all your life is still attach to for now till you get your breakthrough of BIAFRA.
Rwanda genocide began same way, when typical agitators began to called Rwanda zoo and the result is lost of millions lives.
You guys need to apply restraint in your approach to drive home your desire but not to dehumanised other tribes by saying they live in zoo. This is a plate of calling for war. Self determination is your right and every other groups right but trying to dehumanise others is anti-self determination. You people need to stop foul language and act intelligently.
Come to think of it, Nnamdi Kanu has not gotten his approach right. No government will just release part of its territory easily especially as it wasn't spelt out in the constitution. Until the National Assembly sit down and make it inclusive in the constitution, the executive would be handicapped. The Igbo legislators should be bold enough to raise its inclusiveness into the constitution don't give more life to the agitation or else agitators may experience what they never bargain for.
Nigeria is signatory to UN self determination treaty but Nigeria refused reflecting it on its constitution. Until it's reflected, agitation for self determination would just be a daily jamboree and if not properly managed, it may result to what we're running from.

You think you can lecture touts and high school drop outs on quantum physics or should I say quantum politics. IPOB has made Buhari popular and not the other way round. Buhari is truly unpopular right now because of his nepotistic and tribalistic appointments, but Kanu's has united all other Nigerian tribes against the Ibos with his insults and threats. This is the only reason buhari still has support in the south.

MASSOB had been campaigning for Biafra for decades, but it did not elicit this kind of hatred.

It is really annoying that IPOB cannot mention Biafra without attaching and insulting other tribes like Yoruba, other South south tribes apart from from their mortal enemy, the Fulanis.

In the event of a war, the Igbos will find very little allies in Nigeria.

Probability of war is 0%

Its not feasible in any way whatsoever...

On which ground would Nigeria declare war...
Even my 5 years cousin knows that the government has no excuse to war... and are to broke to wish one.

Self Determination is an International right of every indigenous group..

At worst nigeria government would be charged for attempt genocide because With The international publicity Biafra is getting Nigeria government can't do shit.

Anambra Election would be boycotted
2019 election would be boycotted..
more sit at home.

The are weapon more stronger than tanks.

Nigeria only weapon is violence and War... they have already loss certainly.. ask any sane mind.

book mark this my words
Whether elections in the east are boycotted or "girlcotted", a winner in the election will still be declared. So in trying to achieve a point by boycotting elections in the southeast, the smart criminal politicians without integrity will capitalise on that to run for elections and win!

Senseless rant. Igbos take from Nigeria far more than they give to Nigeria. Besides there are Igbos residing in every corner of Nigeria - even sambisa forest, so who needs Nigeria more.

Always talking nonsense.

Unite which tribes against the Igbos.

Kanu call has united all tribes against Buhari's government and Hausa Fulani nepotism.

For the first time in a long while, SE and SS governors now have meetings irrespective of party affiliation.

Christian Northerners warned the Muslim Northerners that they won't join them in Arewa.

All because of Kanu.

One would imagine that in five years that Jonathan was in Power, if these protests and loud requests for secession was brought forward and it was this loud, It might have been easier for the Igbo nation to get what they seem to want.

Of course there is also the question of whether the agitators actually speak the mind of the Igbo Nation. This is because in my corner of the country, the Igbo men I know do not seem to be very much in support of Master Nnamdi. Still, these issues should be addressed by way of logical two way discussion.

So my questions are:

why is the demand for Biafra more pronounced now?

Did the agitators forget what they wanted before?

Did they not want it at the time?

What exactly is the reasonable expectation currently?

Do you want the Hausa man to go and face his onions and cow while leaving the oil for only the east to enjoy because they are very selfless like Jesus?

Would it not have been easier to ask Jonathan to do that?

Are we willing to go back to 1967 to make it happen?

This is nonsense. This writer should be arrested for instigating tribal sentiment here.

You guys can leave every parts of Nigeria now and settle in your Biafra Republic and nobody will stop you, but know that your boundaries end within your Igbo speaking area and any attempt to want to drag middle belt and Niger Delta into your Biafra will shows that you are only out to make trouble but not to get your Biafra and will be resisted.

Why do people waste their prestigious time arguing with BMC and APC era's?

You all know all your doing is literally bashing your heads against the wall. That's really dense and deluded those APC disturbing goats are.

Despite its been over 2 years since GEJ lost. Those fools still try to blame him for their incompetence and still thinking is an election

There were threads created to discuss about IPOB Stand during the election and ironically the APC crew evaded everyone of it.

https://www.nairaland.com/3903499/re-nnamdi-kanu-ordered-biafrans
https://www.nairaland.com/3222809/igbo-hatred-buhari

You're wasting your precious time with them.

Why anyone in their right mind would think that Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, that boycotted the 2015, are angry about the outcome of an election they BOYCOTTED. Only a brain dead goat will think that way.

Heck the same IPOB actually wrote a letter to GEJ in 2013 asking him to divide the country. A letter they posted on their pages (attached below)

The same Nnamdi Kanu that insulted GEJ and every igbo politician that worked for him after he made succession a no go area during the convention.

The same Nnamdi Kanu that predicted GEJ would lose and even mocked him on his radio after he lost

Are who this APC clowns are here arguing about that GEJ lose is what started his agitation.

They refuse to accept that it was due to Buhari incompetence and hatred for igbo therefore proving ipob/NK screeching accurate was what skyrocketed Nnamdi Kanu status and followers. As usual, they want to pass the blame to someone else

I can see that stupidity is the main criteria to get a position in BMC.

You dey mind am. I once asked one goat like him to name one benefit igbo gained from being part of that niggeria. Instead of doing as I asked he started writing long epistle about igbo traders and how hsusa/yoruba accommodates igbo more than igbo community. When called out on his bullshit and also asked to explain how someone trading in wtf they paid for answers my question. He started ranting about them given igbo alot out of pity. Name wtf you claim you gave...Nada. As far I've seen igbo lost more being a member of that sh1thole than anything.

He arrested Kanu, that worsen the whole issue.

Some uninformed war singers didn't even know that Kanu started radio Biafra far back in 2009. That was even before Jonathan become the president. He blasted the hell out of Jonathan doing his regime in 2013 /2014 . He called him names, Kanu even visited Nigeria in some occasion while Jonathan was in power.

But you know what Buhari wasn't as intelligent as Jonathan. Buhari thought he was doing Kanu or the Biafra ideology, he had no one to tell him he was promoting the struggle.

A country that has a ruler that lack educational intelligence, even native intelligence will always pay heavily for it.

I think the agitation became louder after Jonathan because the marginalization took another dimension with the 95-5 ratio. The igbo who are the 3rd major ethnic group became relegated to the background. After the position of president and vice had gone to the north and south west, the senate president, house of reps speaker and secretary to the govt of the federation were equally cornered by the north, it is only natural what to expect next. I am not igbo but I think this government trampled on the igbo nation and are to blame for the upheaval. Arresting NK was like canning a child & telling him to shut up.
