The white population then was small less than 15000 Europeans most were Dutch,German,Scandinivian and French hence boers are mixed people.

Here is an example of a Black and coloured suburb in Port Elizabeth in 1830-1867 then British called our black elite BLACK VICTORIANS.
Blacks have been playing cricket in RSA since 1795-2017 only stopped when apartheit took over to cater for boers who were poor then.
