A special kudos to @cochtrane and @40manlappy for your EXTRAAA PATIENCE and time in answering questions from newbies. We love and appreciate the work you put in here. It is worth millions of naira in cash. MY QUESTION >> I plan to only evaluate my wife's OND for ECA (although she has a B.Sc.), but she will not be writing the IELTS exam. Is it compulsory for her to do both, that is ECA and IELTS or can she do only the ECA? My reason for the OND ECA is to get more points in the CRS. |

Your registry date is your wedding date as far as CIC is concerned. "Legally acceptable in your home country" is a key requirement unless your nikkah certificate is in conformity with form E. I believe you would be more relaxed to make a choice if you had like 5 types of wedding like some people/tribe or you "closed road" from tuesday to sunday and registry happened in one of those days (Biko na joke I dey o). I don't think you need LOE though but it all depends on you. studyexec: 1 Like |

mmrius: Since she is not the Pa, it's not compulsory you do the IeLts if you have great scores and maybe masters or phd. My wife did ielts but no ECA. So it depends on how many points your profile as the PA can aggregate. If you can afford both ielts and eca, do both. If not, do the eca and leave ielts....I stand to be corrected. 1 Like |

bigfido: Bigfido, Na wa o. Do you know there is something called child support? You have not been paying child support and you want to bring down embassy?. Please lets get this straight, what if she was raped by an unknown person? will CIC be asking her for the father? As far as I know, once she indicates single she could have 5 kids it doesn't concern CIC. 10 Likes |

You should go with the IRCC option... That's the organization that needs your ECA. I assume you are applying for Express Entry... senola1: 2 Likes 1 Share |

sweetrie: Simply get an authorization letter from the person whose result you are going to collect and a copy of his/her International Passport. With this, you should be given a copy of the IELTS Trf. Regards 1 Like |

Pls can someone in the house help me calculate my possible CRS point ( I.e over 500). Education. Bsc. Age. 33 IELTS CLB9 Exp. 6yrs Single applicant. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Kontagious(m): 9:19am On Sep 05, 2017 |
sweetrie:Request the person to write an authorization letter stating you will be collecting the result on his/her behalf. Go along with the person’s copy of international passport data page, remember to go with yours too (I think any statutory ID will do). You need to also raise a bank draft of N15,000 in favour of British Council. Once at BC, you’d be given the result upon presentation of the letter, person’s ID and yours. Proceed to ask for EOR, you’d be given a form then asked to hand over the result and the bank draft. 2 Likes 1 Share |
