I will reecho Yimiton's advice.

You have to redo the ielts and aim to score what Yimiton advised.
Redo your ECA with WES, both BSC and PGD to get you two or more certificate summary.
Let your wife take the ielts and aim 8777
Do your wife's ECA (assuming a BSc for her)

If you achieve all above, your score stands at 420. If draws are higher than this when all documents are ready, you should get a provincial nomination and that will be sufficient to get you in.

You should however note you'd loose 10 points as your age increases!

Lets wait for more input.
Each year increase is 5 points deduction.

Its straight forward since you have all these documents. The only other thing you would need would be 3 reference letters from 3 clients. That's about it.

Pls why 3 Is that like a specific requirement cos I added only 1 oh. Now afraid is catching me

Lol.
Thanks Abby, MummyJayGirls and Sugaro.

Abby2017:
Your registry date is your wedding date as far as CIC is concerned. "Legally acceptable in your home country" is a key requirement unless your nikkah certificate is in conformity with form E.

I believe you would be more relaxed to make a choice if you had like 5 types of wedding like some people/tribe or you "closed road" from tuesday to sunday and registry happened in one of those days grin grin (Biko na joke I dey o).

I don't think you need LOE though but it all depends on you.

Pls asking for a friend:

1. He's the principal applicant, wife didn't do ECA or IELTS. While filing EE profile he put wife's employment history, now post ITA wife is unable to get Ref letter from the 4 previous employers (Banks). There is a placeholder to upload employment records for spouse...

What should he do?

In my own case, I submitted my spouse's employment letter and wrote LOE on why Ref letters couldn't be obtained.

My advice to him based on previous posts have read, "he should delete wife's details from work history and just move it to personal history", that way there won't be any placeholders...

2. He has more than 3 Work experiences, placeholder doesn't specify in what order to upload. Told him I did from "present to past" but when I submitted ADR I noticed all my experiences were uploaded the other way round (from past to present) and ofcos it was not corresponding at all, so I attached LOE to my ADR. My question now is? Should he upload from past to present or what is the accepted format

Kindly shed more light Pls @mummyjaygirls @40manlappy @ everybody with relevant info pls... Thanks House

Good day all.
I will like to confirm from those that have used WES for UNILAG certificates/transcripts. How long does it take confirmation requests from WES to get to UNILAG? Thought this is an email and should be instant. WES notified me of sending for the confirmation on Friday last week 1/09/17 and my contact in Unilag claimed they haven't received anything when I enquired today.

Will appreciate response for anyone with knowledge or experience with the time line for this WES confirmation mails to UNILAG. Wouldn't mind hooking me up with any known contacts that can help as well in UNILAG.

Thanks.

It takes like a week or less for them to reply ,because they collate and reply for about 30 people at once .
For the verification aspect go to the Senate building (security office downstairs) theres a little corner office there ,speak to anyone ,tell them to help you check for VDR E-MAIL, either searching with your Wes ref # or name . Then after that you can follow up a day or 2 to see if you have been added to the list in exams and records (inside sense building ) 1st floor.

hello house,
Am new and I have gained some much knowledge , from this thread which am very grateful to everyone who made contributions in one way or the other.

however I want clarity on this issue please.

I am a 26yrs old biologist ,and we have a baby girl of one year. I just have 2years working experience In a clinic where I work.
my husband is a 36 year old physicist with 9 years working experience, he has already done a Wes evaluation, and he is in USA working at the moment , he is wants to write IELTS soon.
but from the information I have gotten from here seems like I have a better chance as the principal applicant ,than my husband who is 36 years old but has 9 years work experience ,which I just have two years in a small clinic.
but I don't have travel history at all and I have been denied USA visa Four times.
please who amongst us stands a better chance .

Hello, go to this website http://transcripts.unilag.edu.ng/pdf/application.php
Print out the form and fill, you will have to pay online through Remita or via a bank draft. Afterwards, you send the scanned form and your scanned receipt to the email address on the site. If you are paying through Remita, pls go early in the morning to the bank the Remita site dey get wahala during mid day.
As per fast tracking, I don't know O . Mine took 6weeks (BSc and first time request) although was told they couldn't find the key to the room where docs for my faculty as kept, so I guess that contributed to the delay. Other sabi pple go put mouth.

I suggest your husband should be the PA with his job description being calculated as a professional degree course and his work experience he scores more about 440 irrespective of his age with a very good IETLS score from both of you . If you are to be the PA your having just BSC and 2 years working experience reduces your CRS score to about 414 irrespective of how good you both IETLS score are. I suggest you guys prepare hard for your IELTS and aim for a good band mostly in listening and reading and you can evaluate your result too then you good to go. You can check on the CRS

Surface mail? Wouldn't that take longer time? May be we should just ask WES how these verification requests are made. Either through email or surface mail. I expect email for such institution like UNILAG though.

cochtrane:

Yes, it is necessary. That's what they've asked for.
Guys have been faxing a copy of their certificate to WES lately. You could do that. Use hellofax.com
If you have money to burn, send a copy with courier to their address.
