someone told me to lick alum, that it would instantly dry up my mouth and stop me from salivating.. I want to know is alum is safe?

I don't know another name for the alum, but it's white in colour, it has a somewhat salty taste, some people use it to wash snail meat to reduce it slippery-ness.

what do u think, is alum safe for a pregnant woman..

although I've bought it.. but afraid to use it to avoid stories that touch..

Hello mama's in d house.

Have been a silent readers since beginning of August pending when I will get my edd to join a team. I went to miatama general hospital on Friday 1st of September for d first time since I missed my period and was told I was 2months,3days pregnant and dat my baby is doing good.

I was excited like never before but it was short lived as 2hrs after I left d hospital I started feeling serious cramps, thought it was because I ate pounded yam n pepper soup for lunch so I decided to sleep d pains off only for me to wake up with excruciating pains 1hr later with heavy bleeding.

It was as if I was dieing, couldn't stand, talk, sit, eat or lay down it was as if my tummy was been removed by force. I decided to take hot milk maybe it will help reduce the pain. 5minutes later blood clot started coming out and I knew my baby was going, I cried, prayed n begged my baby to stay but he didn't

I went to d hospital the next day 2nd September and was told there is no baby in my womb again. I was in total shock cos didn't know what happened within 2hrs of leaving the hospital to d bleeding?
I am still asking myself if it was d food I ate or d warm milk I took dat took my baby away? Or the scan dat was done or Wht could have happened?

@Flyingangel, i understood how you feel. Is well. God knows it all. Maybe it wasnt meant to stay,nobody knows. Just keep yourself cool n calm and b rest assured that double shall be your portion very very soon. Inugo ! Be strong Sis.

So, when you chew it, ur mouth instantly becomes dry and excess saliva stops? Or u have to continually chew?

First trimester is over for some of us and almost over for others. I pray morning sickness leaves us alone.

CS is very painful especially for the first 2 days but after that you will feel less pain and after 4 days the pain will be completely gone....

Don't u know d strong potency of alum? Alum can change d color of Red Sea to be as white as snow. If u think I'm joking, get dirty water n throw a lil stone of alum,close the bucket n check back in 30 mins n u'll see difference. Now back to ur question, I use those 3 wise men located @ Lagos toll gate to beg u 2 fling dt alum like poison farrrrrrr n never to return.

U say?! It seems u did urs in obodo oyibo. I still felt mine close to a year o. I didn't feel pain wen I underwent d surgery cos of the Anastasia buh after like 2days I felt like my intestines were living separately from my belle.
