As our faces are different, so are our likes and interests. Everyone is not the same and no body knows it all. You can't expect someone who fancies anything religion or fashion for instance, to successfully converse with you on politics or current affairs, especially when they have no flair for those.

It makes no sense for you to expect others to like what you like. By this posts, you guys have successfully proven that you are responsible for the boring conversations you have. When you attract the wrong kind of people, you get the corresponding response from them. Need I remind you that by going political with your chats all the time, they too will be seeing you as some boring nerds who only talks about "the problems of the world". Now how does that make you a lively conversationist?

Attract people of like minds and interests and see how well you flow when you gist. Otherwise, do well by yourselves and take pryme 's suggestion above.

I think most Nigerian women don't really debate issues when there is a potential suitor interested in them, in case the guys end up labelling them as too intelligent, argumentative or stubborn. The Nigerian guys ego is very fragile, so most women act less intelligent or don't debate issues to pander to their lack of self esteem.

Different strokes for different folks they say, me on the other hand is looking for a lady that will keep me on my toes (intelectually). Expressing her self to the fullest being her own person. I don't want to believe ladies will also enjoy the silent treatment or one word response to guys they find attractive.

yes i woudnt say you are not true,but to be sincere with you,many men get turn on with a very intelligent and witty lady who's very vast in different spheres of life.Be it as it may be,its only a 'mediocre' that see such a lady has "too knowing".When i know shes going to pass that 'trait' to my offspring.

you are not far from the truth,many ladies exhibit these behavioural traits,except some few have gone beyond excessively obsess with irrelevant issues that thosint add any tangible value to your life.

@chikk.Yes,am aware of individual differences coming from; different backgrounds, biological composition, social millieu and education which plays a large role in the attitude,behaviour,cognitive,perception of how "man" view a social phenomena.Even at that,man is dynamic in nature, as such he's insatiable,quit sure we have our !preference' whic stems from our 'instrinsic or extrinsic value'in life,but it cost us nothing to be versatile.I love politics,critical thinking,music,research,but i also averagely have some ideas on fashion,entertainment gist,celebrities issues which i thosint really fancy.I agree with the likes mind you said,have meet a couple of ladies that beat my imagination the way they analize issues ranging from social issues and social problems,but to be true with you,the 'bulk population' of our female folks cant hold an entensive convo with you at these different dimensions of life.

Most ladies cannot hold an interesting, enlightening conversation. Because they're limited in knowledge (bimboes with only fashion and celebrity gossip knowledge), conversations with them are limited too. Also, most ladies on social network are very boring chatters. Most of them would just type 'Hi' and let you carry on the conversation while they'll be busy replying 'lol', 'yeah' and 'kkk'. The day you're not in the mood to chat, the conversation dies a painful death in seconds.



I used have a female friend who's versed in everything...music (a lover of rap), education (highly intellectual), football (an avid Chelsea fan) etc. She could hold a conversation for hours.

I have engaged quite a lot of them during conversations.

I have engaged quite a lot of them in broad topics even what's affects everybody in the society sadly they know little or noting about it, even what's going on around them.Take for instance,during radio station phone in program maybe on a topic about things that affect the society,pay attention to those calling to discuss or contribute their opinion, you will notice that most of them are men.only very few women will call in to make contributions. They will keep quite and pretend it doesn't concern them yet the topic is what affects both men and women.
Tho quite a few are versatile when it comes to any political, social, economic, religious, national issues and ,current affairs.I applaud and admire such kind of women a lot.

Lol, I'm eating popcorn and zobo on top all these comments I read here. Y'all should try brains before beauty for a change guys, sometimes it helps. You get attracted by the looks, and when the brain turns out empty, you feel disappointed. Well, deal with it. Meet them at their level, or go for what's available at YOUR level. A beautiful lady who knows she's beautiful is very self conscious and probably thinks of herself first before any other thing. She'd rather be the topic than engage in another. And frankly sometimes, same applies to her day to day relationship with people.

You guys are the pinnacle of your own problem. You have to be concern about your happiness first. Then, think in terms of friendship.

In truth, most ladies are borring but you know what, it depends on how you are able to explore her deeper part. She will give you everything easily.

The thing to do is just to 'tease'. Teasing is a wow factor. When you do that reward her with some honesty and there you go. It will lead to equal investment.
