How come Zambia's two-goal hero isn't playing today? What happened to Mwila? He's not even in their match day squad
he was red carded

Meanwhile, Iran, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan are all through to the world cup.

Syria and Australia will contest the 2-legged Asian playoff for the right to face the 4th placed team from CONCACAF (North America).
every other region has at least one team that has qualified for World Cup, but Africa must just keep the world waiting

Good! So your definition is the position they feel more at home playing in. What if they had a teammate who the coach sees as better in that said position? That's where my points come in.
AIG07:
good points. But it doesn't change the fact that players have 'natural' positions. Most especially players from Africa. We don't teach football in africa as you'll have in europe we play and grow into it.

Most players who have played two or more positions will tell you that they prefer one to the other simply because they feel at home playing in such a position...

A draw is a good result..
if Zambia should lose then we gonna qualify even if we lose our next two matches cos there's no way they are gonna beat us on goal difference

Oasis007:

First and foremost Aina is presently playing in the Championship, and talent-wise he's not better than Shehu at International Level though.

We need Competitions in the Team.... yes, but making it look like Shehu is under-performing and needs to be immediately replaced is uncalled for. He always give his best for the National Team even while Fasting.

The Position that's begging for a Replacement is the LB, which I believe Aina can also conveniently play.

However, is Seyi Ojo a LB?! The last time I checked he's a Winger. Has he ever played as a LB at any Level?! Fans are crying for a natural LB, yet you are selling to us a Winger.

I stand to be corrected Bro, Seyi Ojo has never played as a LB for any Club before, you can paste his Profile to show us his Stats as a LB. He's a good Winger who can play in either Wings but as a Fullback.... capital No!

What gives you credence to be invited to the senior national team is what you do in your club.

Consistent top quality performances get you noticed and become the justification for your inclusion.

Shehu had an opportunity he did exceptionally well. However, that doesn't mean that Aina can not be better. Until Aina is tested we do not know. However, Aina played for Chelsea very limited opportunity on account of world class players ahead of him blocking his opportunities. He then goes to the championship and is voted as best right back within weeks.

Shehu plays in the Cyprus league rated a very lowly 18th in Europe. , This a level that is considerably lower than the English championship. I therefore, do not know how you come to the conclusion that Shehu is better. Keeping your mind open means testing not assuming.

The quest for the SE is to get the best players possible for each position. Nothing remains static.

The position of left back has evolved to being left wing backs. Which is simply a left winger being defensive but able to attack as well. Victor Moses never played RB or the more contemporary term Wing back until last season. The rest we can say is history.

The current most sought after left wing back is a 17 year old Ryan Ssegnon at Fulham fc. Every premiership club has tried to sign him, price £30 million.

The championship is very competitive it's much higher than what you may think. The issue is not about replacing a player but increasing competition and improving every position.

That means if Tega and or Solanke decide to go Naija soon KC may no longer be first choice. Indeed if any quality player joins the party we may find some players being dropped.

This is progressive competitive football always looking for better and the best. It's the World cup we need the best to go.

Watching England U21 play Latvia.

5 Nigerians in the team Tega and Solanke top strikers. Ademola Lookman and Seyi Ojo (running tings)

Tomori in defence. 2nd Tega in midfield.

Of course Tega scored, they have won 3-0

the guy does nothing for his country
he left his team for Europe to do transfer when there was an important match at stake upon everything the transfer was not successful
only for him to return to the team and lose penalty
