Hello house. Pls I was given unconditional offer in uk university.in which they didn't request for TEST OF ENGLISH. Pls house, will embassy still request for IELTS from me?? Can I still start my visa application now?,Dead line for registration in my school is 25 October, 2017. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Iamtomilade(f): 7:33pm On Sep 06, 2017 |
OLAREWAJU1705: The embassy won't ask you for IELTS. I guess you got your offer with a grade of C6 or better in English (Waec) |

OLAREWAJU1705: I'm not a pro in all of this but from what I've seen on my brother's CAS which I was still even looking at while ago...which u should have by now....CAS is like the master key.. It's says every thing about you the school has...tuition, ur undergraduate couse, how much uve paid, if u paid for school accommodation, if the school is offering you an automatic job placement, if you are on full scholarship( this will actually make ur turion reflect 0.00£ So if u have an unconditional offer the school probably determined you english language proficiency with your undergraduate degree language....and this info will be on ur CAS... once it on ur CAS I don't think embassy will harass you for IELTS.. my opinion shaaa..let the pros come in |

Iamtomilade:... Pls...can I still process my visa application now?? And what is the meaning of 28 days account balance..you people are are saying? pls I need enlightenment.... On how to apply for visa and the FULL required documents to back my application. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by christisam: 8:54pm On Sep 06, 2017 |
OLAREWAJU1705: 28days count means that you need to have the required amount of money for your accommodation for 28days and also either you have paid your fees or show evidence that you also have your fees except your on full scholarship |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Jblade: 9:10pm On Sep 06, 2017 |
OLAREWAJU1705: How long do I have to have held the required funds in my account? You need to have had the required funds in your account for a consecutive 28 day period ending no more than 31 days before the date of your application. For example, if your 'date of application' (this is the date you pay for the Tier 4 visa application fees online) is 28 July, you must have funds held from 1 July - 28 July, if your bank statement is printed on 28 July. However, if your bank statement is printed on or states a closing balance date of 20 July (this is acceptable because it is within 31 days of 28 July), then your bank statement should cover the period with the required amount of funds held from 23 June to 20 July. How recent does my bank statement need to be? Your bank statement must be dated within 31 days of the date of your application (the date that the application fee payment is made). If you bank statement is dated after the 'date of application', the caseworker will only consider funds held for 28 days up to the 'date of application'. For example, if your 'date of application' is 1 September but your bank statement is printed on 10 September which is also the closing balance date, the caseworker will look at whether you have held the required funds for 28 consecutive days from 5 August to 1 September. 1 Like |

Hello I need your advice. I applied for a visiting visa on the 25th of August and it has been receieved for review by an ECO. Just found out this evening that I was awarded the ptdf scholarship. My dilemma is what do I do now? Would I have to withdraw my current ongoing application and re-apply for a student visa? Please how long would it take for me to get back my passport if I have to withdraw my application? Thanks. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Iamtomilade(f): 6:07am On Sep 07, 2017 |
opeobats: You should contact UKVI to find out how to cancel your application. Cos you can only get your application fee refunded if your application hasn’t been processed yet. |
