In my opinion I think your husband should be the PA. His age is okay, he has MSC which can be easily evaluated by WES. You can do ur own evaluation later when you about leaving for Canada. I think the main focus should be getting PR first how u get it shouldn't matter now. Pls try to talk ur husband into it if he isn't down with the plan, make sure he aces ielts and ur worries are over. Good luck and God bless. schules: |

Olamidexy:A bit, thanks. Have you been given ITA before you got married? Now that you just added your husband, would you both be able to travel together. I was led to believe that if a spouse is added after ITA then they both can't travel, that the PA will go first and invite the spouse. Is that true? |

jideflows:Story. I read all the story you wrote about the error stemming from immigration and how you need to travel with the passport blah blah blah....the fact is, you've had the passport with the WRONG date of birth for at least a month, without trying to rectify with Nigerian Immigration. Instead you want to adjust the DoB on your transcript? Does that even make sense? It means you are happy with the incorrect DoB on your passport, and see nothing wrong in altering other documents to match it. You even wrote "you'll stick to one DoB". No mention of sticking to the TRUE DoB. Anyway, remember that once you start a lie, you need a lie to keep covering the original lie. When you get to Canada, and there's something you need to prove like qualification, you'll start cross-checking to make sure your DoB matches? SMH! 3 Likes |

Hello People... Please has anyone used Treasury Bill or Fixed Deposit as Proof of funds? IF yes, was it purchased Pre-ITA or Post-ITA? Thanks |

ajiifixing:Lol are you for real? This is why Nigeria is the way it is, and nobody is accountable for their actions. It's all swept under the carpet of "do you know my struggle?" In fact an e.g. is our beloved President who we all know is not actually in his 70s. So let's say he had a "rough" life, now the rest of country has to pay for that rough life he had. 3 Likes |

Your questionnaire should have different pictures with an explanation of the event that took place when the picture was taken. Also, the questionnaire for your wife should carry different sets of pictures from yours. Note that the additional 10-15 pictures requested are to be attached separately from this questionnaire. It's like am in this bracket. Age - 42 HND 18 years working experience With 8777 & ECA my score is 355. quote author=DatechMan post=60205933] You'll lose a whoping 55 point because of your age. Even if you and your spouse ace your ielts, I doubt you will be able to cross the 430. Source: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp[/quote] |

billy: that email adresses bounces back. this is what it says You sent an email to World Education Services (WES). It was addressed to a mailbox that cannot accept emails. As a result, your message has not been read by a person at WES and there will be no response to you other than this email. 1 Like |

Canadianfly: I hardly get involved in this kind of discuss, but for the sake of the green world, here is my take. You are the type that think you are all-wise abi? You seem like a self-righteous to me. Why using paracetamol for another man's headache? The guy mentioned that he doesn't have the money to effect the change on the International Passport. Which part of that comment did you miss? To have even assumed his motive even before he stated it is repulsive. To each his own world. Like he said, if you have nothing good to contribute, keep quiet. 16 Likes |

This group has been very inspirational in my Canada Immigration Journey. A dream that started in April 2016 has finally come to pass. We indeed serve an awesome God. We decided to start this journey in June 2016 but when we calculated the financial implication coupled with the high CRS then we had to let go of the dream. But Mercy said NOOOOOOo!!!!!!! Come 2017 with no idea how we would survive the recession we decided to try getting student visas, at least schooling in Canada would enable us get PNP. The search for schools started. settled on a school only to realize that we had one month left to apply. in our bid to gather documents, we stumbled on Australian Immigration System. we decided to try that, then we realized that they verify work experience and are at liberty to slash it if they are not convinced, i decided to find out the latest concerning Express Entry. My eyes could not believe it, the required CRS Points had dropped. We had three choices, School, Australian or Canadian EE. Being an Accountant, i drew up budgets required for all three processes, and submitted to Hubby. We prayed and decided to go for Canadian EE being cheaper and more realistic. Then we had to start getting funds together and all. First step was to apply for ECA from WES which we did on the 2nd of March, applied for IELTS and wrote it on the 8th of April. Results came out April 21, LRSW 8.5, 9, 8, 7. Since WES was delaying hubby registered for IELTS just in case points started rising ( LRSW 8.5, 9, 8, 7.5). After plenty tweets at WES plus disturbing the school, ECA came out May 29th. We created EE Profile MAY 29 and registered for Job Bank May 30. ITA came May 31 and then another process began. the race to gather documents and get required funds ready. Finally submitted August 9. see timeline below: EE Profile May 30 CRS 441 ITA May 31 AOR Aug 9 MEP Aug 21 IP1 Aug 25 NA2 Aug 28 IP2 Sep 1 PPR Sep 6 NOC 1111 Dependents 4. We serve an awesome God. . We didn't use hubby IELTS because we didn't get his results till June 1st. This is to encourage everyone. Do your best and leave the rest for God. For IELTS, it is English that we have speaking from birth. Ensure you understand the rudiments of the test. focus on tips and practice, practice , practice. Above all, Trust God. sorry for the long post, i have dreamed of this day since last year. lol. thanks to @mummyjaygirls, @ dupsyshoo and every wonderful contributor on this forum. we will get there.
