FIFA is trash. Its Africa, they have shown their fangs and claws. What of France vs Ireland match? 2010 world cup qualifiers or so. Henry used his hand to stop a ball, used the hand to position it and they scored with the same move and the ref pointed to the center France knocked off Ireland with that singular goal and qualified. What do you call that Google Henry Handball or Hand of frog/god
Mtchew Africa have suffered
BluntBoy:

That is UEFA's call, not for FIFA. FIFA is for countries, not clubs.

And you need to watch that South Africa-Senegal match. The referee did not even try to hide his act. His calls were suspicious from his offside call on Diouf to his added time. He killed that match for Senegal. Even the South African commentator for that match said something about "homeside ruling" or something like that. I watched that match but I can't really remember how that commentator put it. The match was disgusting.

FIFA under Blatter was very corrupt. Even the 2010 world cup rights given to South Africa was fraught with allegations of bribery.

However under same Blatter, a certain qualifier had also been replayed, so stop this persecution complex stuff about it being because it involved Africa. How many times have matches been replayed? Before you shout persecution, you have to answer that question.

And before you shout Africa, please, do read up on events following the ban from FIFA. This same referee had earlier been excluded from officiating at the AFCON 2017 because of his abysmal performance in the South Africa vs Senegal match. CAF must have thought he was becoming rusty, not knowing that he had been bought.

FIFA have explained how they nailed him. FIFA follow trends of betting on its matches. They must have heard reports on the referee and began watching him. Every match he had officiated seemed to have ended as betted by major betters in the Middle East, especially. Also, the trend of major wins for matches officiated by this corrupt official brought on the suspicion.

In addition, watch that South Africa vs Senegal match. It was abysmal to say the least. The two South African goals were aided. The whole match was played to unfairly favour South Africa.

Lastly, it was the Senegalese football association that sent a complaint to FIFA. It was not FIFA that just rose up one morning and started persecuting Africa.

Even in the AFCON of 2017, terrible officiating..

It's the major reason African officials aren't regarded by FIFA..

The corrupt official would have been at the AFCON 2017 but CAF dropped him because of his abysmal performance in the South Africa vs Senegal match. They never knew the match had been fixed.

I understand that FIFA under Blatter was corrupt, but FIFA is FIFa. Why was the ref for that match not banned Why was the match not replayed the Irish coach was Trappatoni if I can still remember, not a local coach, Ireland filed a report to FIfa but it was swept under the carpet just cos they want France to qualify. Believe me, their is always this big teams vs small teams in FIFA. Can't remember any international game that was replayed under Blatter anyways
I rest my case.

In 2006 world cup qualifiers, Uzbekistan was ordered to replay Bahrain.

Apart from FIFA's corruption, there was not enough evidence that Henri meant to cheat or that the referee on that day, Martin Hansson, was bought. It was not like the incidence was not treated by FIFA when the Irish football association brought the issue before it. Or why did you think the idea of introducing a video referee and more technology into football took a center stage after that match. Do you know that Henri and the referee were so embarrassed that they almost quitted?

Also, your argument is fraught with confusion. Your feel that FIFA is doing this because Africa was involved but you forgot that Ireland, that was also cheated, was an European team. Was FIFA persecuting Europe against Europe at that time?

Yeah even our match with SA needs to be replayed. I wondered how they came here and defeated us.
You say wetin.. with the none sense our players played that day how won't they defeat us...The team lacked a real leader against SA. They were not coordinated at alļ. Compare the team that played South Africa with the team that played against Cameroon. Though at some point, Mikel waś very tired in the midfield yet he still dictate the pace and marshal the midfield. That's what a leader does. And that is one thing Ogenyi Onaži lack.

If all robbed matches were to be replayed then Barca shouldn't have been in the quaterfinal of the champions league last year grin
Bro....Rather blame PSG for their mumunistic display at Camp Nou. They ought to have frustrated Barca the way Juventus eventually did at the semis. If you want to saý the penalties were fraud...what about the sublime free kick by the Brazilian Neymar??. Am not a Barca fan but PSG be mumu that day.!! simple

A lot of people shouting racism did not watch that South Africa vs Senegal match. The officiating was so horrible that CAF dropped the referee from the list of referees for AFCON 2017.
