Medical insurance is not enough to deny student visa because you still have the option of getting it over their through SSN. The most important thing is the DOV and evidence of financial sustainability i.e the bank statement. |

Talented4real: Baba, I booked both the hotel and flight and it was included in my application. Am so sorry for not putting in the list, buf we should known that hotel and flight booking is compulsory in the visa application. For medical insurance policy, if this is wat will give an edge in your application please include it, its better to include it and give you positive outcome than not including it and may give you red flag. To me it 'might' not compulsory for masters degree students buf what if its compulsory for undergraduate degree students, so baba lets think twice about it. In school, A1 start from 75% upward and if you are in range of this you are still A1, so if someone documents is in range of this I think it will consider so who known maybe it will the medical insurance policy that will make documents to be consider. Above all, is the mercy, favour and grace of God we all need in our life |

I no go lie to you all, my cover letter contain some remonstration over how much I have spent and how I do not want my effort to be wasted...that's the only way I can score a point with this Andrea. |

Dencotext: Don't be over confident. Its the main reason you made that mistake the first time you applied. You have applied a second time, now retreat and back it up with prayer and fasting! |
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by electromagnito: 8:54am On Sep 07, 2017 |
The rate Italian embassy refuse student for visa is very alarming same thing that happen last year where I spent up to 300k from my NYSC saved money only to be denied on useless excuse like no DOV and I submitted, insufficient fund and my statement of account was 8M, and I doubt if this year will be indifferent for people that apply...Italy prefer a scammer who uses is Mom and dad name statement of account than a geninue student who want to go to school base on his uncle/aunty expense. It is really disappointing after spending 300plus for visa and you get denied, and I don't really blame them most Nigeria end up not going to school over there and also use fake documents especially at Italian embassy cause they don't even bother to verify cause they are just after dov and surname on statement of account, newcca set were fortunate they even gave them visa without DOV then... I will just encourage you guys not to give up, Italy is even one of the worst country in schegen region so look someone else to study... Wish you all the best |

electromagnito:God bless you bro, i guess you are a physicist or Electronic engineer guessing from your username. The whole thing is based on prayers and luck, and some too are based on connection cus those people the consular called on the phone to submit one document or the other before they can be granted visa are they different from the others nah connection, everything now is based on prayers and faith in God. |
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Dencotext: 4:07pm On Sep 07, 2017 |
Hi Electromagnito I am trying to understand the bases you submitted DOV and they said you didn't submit. Did you present or submit your original DOV or only photocopy? Were you going for Master or not and if so did you submit DOV only for your secondary school or for university cert or for both? Be specific let's dispel some myth created by your assertion here! |

Hi everyone, My name is Daniel. I also got my Visa last week for a masters degree in the University of Trento. Please I have some questions and I need clarifications, Firstly does anyone here have any contact I can relate with in the university of Trento? I would appreciate contacts. My school fees is 4500 euros. I am planning to get part time jobs to pay up the fees since I have 6 months grace to pay pay up. How possible is that, like what is the earning power of a typical student in Italy. Please I really need explanations from anyone, those who are studying there already or those who have valid facts about studying in Italy. Thanks for your responses. I appreciate this house. |
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by ldon: 6:48pm On Sep 07, 2017 |
Adedeji19: Dear Daniel, trust you are doing great! Most times I do not comment on issues but I felt compelled to do so because of the question you asked. First, the situation here is not as easy as it seems. It is difficult for those that understand the Italian language to get a job, imagine your chances of getting a job without knowledge of the Language. Although it is not impossible but very difficult and would take some time too. Second, you are allowed to work for only 4 hours and most employers are very cautious of that and if you are opportune to get one, you will not be allowed to work more than 4 hours. Third, Nigerians here have created a bad image and it would take your ability to stand out and make a difference to convince Italians. Lastly, if you really do not have a means of income or sufficient money to take care of your needs for up to 6 months, I advise you consider carefully your options as most of our people here are beggars (for guys), prostitutes (for ladies), and drug pushers (for those that have the gut). All the same, I wish you the very best of any decision you come up with. Ciao Amico! 1 Like |

This one na Indian movie o! What an iron advice for we the curious seekers! Anyway did anyone who submitted for student visa via VFS before the holiday is experiencing what I am seeing when i track mine online? "Your application have been handed over to Courier for delivery to Consulate General of Italy on 31/08/2017"? It seemed my parcel have entered an infinite loop never being stated it has been handed over to the Consulate as they normally do! 1 Like |

Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by ldon: 10:56am On Sep 08, 2017 |
Patechezz: Dear Patechezz! A police report was not part of the documents I submitted. The required documents are stated clearly on the website, although people may tend to provide more than required they absolutely not necessary. Also, I hear people talk about prayer and fasting and all that, to be frank, I am not religious and would not like bringing up religious sentiments when it comes to things that have a well-defined process. To shock my religious fellows here, you do not really need to pray or fast or do any of those things to get a visa. The process of visa application is well defined and the requirements are well stated if you provide all the genuine documents required and with sufficient means of sustenance, I tell you whether you believe in God or not, you will be granted the visa. Unfortunately, our people have been blinded by religion to the extent that they want God to do for them what they can do for themselves. Ciao Tuti! |
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by DanIndia(m): 12:18pm On Sep 08, 2017 |
I don't want to sound over-religious or something but let those who believe prayer and fasting helps them do as they wish. It's OK for you to not believe in what they believe. However, I'm going to tell you that the whole visa procedure isn't as "well-defined" as you've mentioned in your post. Sometimes it just depends on the Immigration officer handling applications. There are cases where people have had to provide documents other than the ones listed on the website and granted the visa. Other cases, the officer can just be like "You dey do oversabi abi". It just depends, mate. Make God help everybody. People whey believe in God go see their visa, people when no believe in God - I pray God give them their visas too. Ciao! ldon: 2 Likes |
